All That Scraps April Preview Day 1

Hello!  Back today to share some new CC Design stamps over at All That Scraps . This is my card featuring a couple of cute little monkeys!  They are 'Stache Monkey and Mrs. Monkey.  Aren't they adorable!  When I first saw these two I knew I wanted them side by side with their little tails intertwined since I noticed one curled down and the other up.  The large sentiment is from Wedding Labels.  I had tons of little hearts from that Cheery Lynn Designs die so I made a little vellum pocket to hold them all under Mr. & Mrs. Monkey's feet.  I love that detail about this card.  Here's a close up of the loving couple.  I love the moustache too. The April release is available now HERE .  You can also check out the rest of the creations by the DT HERE .  Thanks for stopping by!

All That Scraps CLEAR Stamps Preview!

Hello!!  All That Scraps is introducing CLEAR stamps today!  The clear stamps make stamping sentiments so much easier!  There are 3 new clear stamp sets being released in April, and I have 2 cards to share using 2 of the 3 sets. I made this flip card using this cute owl and a few sentiments from the For My Guy set.  I found instructions on how to make the flip card HERE .  I also used the cute moustache die from the Guys Dies that are being released in April.  The moustache on the owl cracks me up for some reason.  When you open the flip card, you can see the rest of the sentiments. This is my second card and features the For My Gal stamp set.  There are a lot of stamps in this set but I chose to use the little flowers and heart and that cup/pitcher as a vase for the flowers.  I used my Perfect Layers rulers to create the mats around the image too.  (Our first blog hop for Perfect Layers is April 1st!  So excited about that too!) This is a close up.  I used the Gals D

More babies!

Hello again!  I have another card!  Well, it's been a busy baby season for a lot of people I know, and everyone's having a boy!  So here's another baby boy card.  I need 2 more of these now.  And the only baby stamp set I have is this Greeting Farm one. Colored and cut out all the baby accessories.  Mounted it on a My Favorite Things Die-namics doily.  Embossed the card with a circles folder from Tim Holtz/Sizzix.  Sentiment and banner die cut is from Papertrey Ink.  Going to enter this in The Greeting Farm's Retro Fresh Boy Challenge , embossing challenge , and Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes . Have a great weekend!

Birthday card

Hello, I actually have another card...it was actually a card I made without any occasion or person in mind, which is a little unusual for me since I'm usually cramming at the last minute to send things out!  It was nice to have some down time over spring break.  Anyhow, it also conveniently happens to be a Free for All challenge at Anyone for Anya  this week. So I jumped on the big Anya bandwagon.  Also jumped on the copic bandwagon, except for the hair which is black colored pencil.  I kind of like that the limbs were thin and the clothes were mostly hidden by the box.  It seemed like a good beginner thing to start with coloring a box.  Patterned paper is from Echo Park's Happy Days.  Cut the one border with the perfect layers ruler.  Border punch was Fiskars.  Hmm, not much else I can add about this card.  Maybe it could have used a sentiment somewhere near the bottom, but I didn't look too hard for a small birthday sentiment.  Have a good day!

MarkerPOP & All That Scraps Blog Hop!

Hello everyone and welcome to the MarkerPOP! + All That Scraps Blog Hop!!!     MarkerPOP! is the home of premium markers plus lots more!  All That Scraps is the home of C.C. Designs stamps which we all know and love!  Today we are teaming up to share some amazing projects using the new C.C. Designs release along with some of our favorite coloring tools from MarkerPOP.com. If you are just joining us on the hop, you are going to want to start back at the beginning of the hop list which can be found at the end of this post! My card features CC Designs Beautiful Lucy .  I love this stamp!  She is just as her name says, beautiful.  The papers are from Authentique Celebrate.  I added some white twine, and the butterflies and grass were made with fabric washi tape.  Both the butterflies and grass are cut from All That Scraps' CC Cutters.  The sentiment is from Butterfly Labels and was heat embossed in white.    I used colors that I think are non-traditional for

Egg Hunt

Hello!  There is still some time to join us over at Yumi & Fumi Handmade for our Springtime Challenge #12 .  Does it feel like spring yet where ever you are?  The weather here seems a bit fickle.  Sunny then rainy then sunny again.  Right now it actually feels a bit cold! I used Chasezilla to create this fun tag.  He has taken the place of the Easter Bunny and has got his egg.  Hehe.  I tried doing something a bit different instead of just coloring him in.  The tag and the banner is from Papertrey Ink.  The fence, egg, grass and sentiment is from All That Scraps.  The paper is Doodlebug from last year.  I still have some small scraps from the Hello Spring paper pad. If you'd like to join in the challenge, see the original post HERE . Thanks for stopping by and hope you're having a great Sunday!

Altered Clipboards

Hello!  So did everyone enjoy the post by Cheryl?  Wow, it has definitely been a while!  Today I have a couple of clipboards to share over at All That Scraps Anything But a Card Day .  On one of my trips to our local Ben Franklin store, I saw these cardboard clipboards.  They were smaller in size than usual, about 7 in by 9.5 in.  But the best part was that they were only a $1 each!!!  I didn't know what to make with them at first besides just altering them but then I saw a roll of self-adhesive white board paper which was also on sale and then I had an idea. I thought it would be cute to add the white board paper to the clipboard and it can be hung up somewhere.  The hardest thing was trying to cut out the paper nicely around that clip.  So once I did it close enough I traced it onto scratch paper so I could use it again as a template.  I also wrapped the edge of the clipboard with washi tape. This is Fairy Abigail .  She is so pretty!  I did something a bit different wi

Welcome Baby

Hello.  I know Eva is probably shocked that I actually made something and am posting!  Crafting seems kind of like work, took too long of a break and I got kind of rusty.  I think I forgot how to blog too.  Anyhow, mostly posting now so I can link to some challenges since I needed to make some baby cards. Followed the sketch at Simon Says Stamp ...sketch #1 Used The Greeting Farm's boy baby for the Retro Fresh Boy challenge .  Sentiment is from Paper Smooches.  Maybe a little too much white space but couldn't think of anything else to add.  I actually bought some more Copic markers, excuse the weird coloring of the baby, no blending skills at all, I need more practice...  Dies are from My Favorite Things and Papertrey Ink.  Pretty simple card, had to ease back into cardmaking...

All That Scraps March Review

Hello!  Hope everyone's having a wonderful week!  I have a cute set of cards to share today.  They are a new line of stamps from CC Designs called The Tumbleweeds .  I love how happy and cute these little girls look. Aren't they cute?  I really couldn't decide which one to color up first so I just chose them all.  I paired each of the girls with a sentiment from Amy R Winged Greetings.  The sentiment was heat embossed in white.  The butterfly is included with the set. All the papers are from Doodlebug's Flowerbox.  I think this girl is my favorite.  I love that she's chasing that butterfly. Hope you'll have a chance to check out the rest of the review over at All That Scraps blog . I had a chance the other week to get my hair cut finally.  It was so relaxing!  I love when my hair stylist shampoos my hair and then some assistant comes over and massages my hands.  I could totally fall asleep there.  But I am not that into the shoulder massages.

UR2 Cute!

Hello!  So I never realized that my search box was not working properly until recently.  I tried looking for something on my own blog and it came up empty so I thought it was just a temporary thing and now when I checked it again, it's still not working.  So I added it in according to someone's directions that I found after Googling the problem.  Anyone else have that problem with Blogger? Anyway, I'm here to share my card for Yumi and Fumi Handmade Crafts Challenge #11 !  It's super easy since it's a wonderful sketch by Kim Yu. I decided to go the CAS route.  I used the handsome Chase and even added a boutonniere to his jacket.  The sentiment is from My Favorite Things. A close up shot.  The rose was white but I colored it red with my Copic. Pretty easy right?  Hopefully you'll be able to join in on the challenge because the prize is pretty awesome.  Have you seen it?  Click HERE if you haven't.  You can also link up your creation there too.

All That Scraps March Preview Day 4

Hello!  Back again for the last day of March previews over at All That Scraps .  Today we are previewing Drozy's Darlings.  These fairies are so cute! I made a larger card using Fairy Watering.  The sentiment is from Butterfly Labels.  I thought I'd make a larger card since the sentiment I chose was so large too!  The flower DP is from Doodlebug's Fruit Stand.  Love this pad too. I added a bunch of Stickles to her wings and the water that is spraying out. Please head over to the ATS blog to see the rest of the previews. Oh, I actually watched a movie the other day!  I watched Mirror Mirror, the Snow White movie with Julia Roberts.  I thought it was cute and funny and it kept me on the elliptical for a little while.  I had to watch the movie in 2 parts cause there is no way I can stay on the elliptical for the whole length of a movie.  But if only my laptop were not so far away or had a bigger screen so I could read the closed captioning better.  I got into the

All That Scraps March Preview Day 3

Hello!  It is time for Sweet November Stamps preview over at All That Scraps.  Here is cute little Bufly Brooke.  I wanted to give her something to look at so I added that little circle die cut with the little birdies.  I was kind of in a rut and not really feeling up to making cards when I saw that J's just got in the new Doodlebug release!  I went down the next morning to pick up all the new 6x6 paper pads.  I was so happy!  So then I made this card using papers from the Flower Box pad.  I love the little flowers and I love clouds! The funny thing is that I had her colored first and she so happened to match the papers so nicely.  Love that too.  The sentiment is from Winged Greetings. I like the layout of this card too.  It's kind of different for me.  I'll be back tomorrow with my last preview card. Thanks for reading!

All That Scraps March Preview Day 2

Hello!  Back again with another preview of Lil Lolitas at All That Scraps .  This is Butterfly Willow and the sentiment is from Amy R Winged Greetings.  I had these papers for a while now.  I was saving it because I loved the roses on it and so of course had to hoard it.  But at last I cut into it.  Sometimes that is so hard to cut a pretty piece of paper and then to cover so much of it up!  Ack!  Hope you'll head over to the ATS blog for more inspiration! More previews tomorrow! Thanks for reading!

All That Scraps March Preview Day 1

Hello!  All That Scraps is starting its March previews today.  And the stamps and dies are already on sale HERE .  Now you don't have to wait until the previews are all done to buy these cute stamps!  This month is all about butterflies and fairies.  The images are so pretty! Here is my card featuring Beautiful Lucy.  She is beautiful, isn't she?  The sentiment is from Winged Greetings.  I used my Perfect Layers rulers to mat the image. The sentiment is embossed on vellum and I added some rhinestones.  There are rhinestones on her antennae as well.  I still have a ton of rhinestones left! Please check out the rest of the DT's creations HERE .  I'll be back tomorrow for another preview. Thanks so much for reading!
