I have more tags to share today. I kept these simple too to be used on most any occasion. They have no sentiments on them.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuuS8FDzHbHR-qmJw_iozPBESBNmUnGAhVUmjveV9T8TWFZDyWoKAEIM0r3RcZTNco_UJaWHMhLmErEljDuJ3SKRq5AuWPNmFZUWzJD5BeFmSOgGwQF1cky3KVWlUHRv5GSScbz8B3DmY/s1600/bearsetADSC03542.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="692" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuuS8FDzHbHR-qmJw_iozPBESBNmUnGAhVUmjveV9T8TWFZDyWoKAEIM0r3RcZTNco_UJaWHMhLmErEljDuJ3SKRq5AuWPNmFZUWzJD5BeFmSOgGwQF1cky3KVWlUHRv5GSScbz8B3DmY/s400/bearsetADSC03542.JPG" width="345" /></a></div>
I used MFT's cute Birdie Brown Bitty Bears stamp set. These were on my wish list for a while and I kept going back and forth about purchasing them especially because I wanted the dies to cut them out too and those were very expensive! Geez, remember the old days when we used to fussy cut everything out by hand?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjH-abyIN18-3taRpgCyH0N-obWASxgCdZihT7xaXdQ4bmC7PAikourDJ_ykEeADA6i1Ii4pvDpaoOpJ18c7aNhyllYYAIVTILv743qo_9d59c3-7XXNkL11plwjpGV8RyYLgAB_aVDtAg/s1600/bearsetBDSC03562.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="775" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjH-abyIN18-3taRpgCyH0N-obWASxgCdZihT7xaXdQ4bmC7PAikourDJ_ykEeADA6i1Ii4pvDpaoOpJ18c7aNhyllYYAIVTILv743qo_9d59c3-7XXNkL11plwjpGV8RyYLgAB_aVDtAg/s400/bearsetBDSC03562.JPG" width="387" /></a></div>
This is the next 6 tags. There's also a cute bear with a Santa hat that I didn't include in the photos. This was a pretty quick project since I kept the bears white! Not much coloring on these tags but they are still cute and colorful.<br />
<br />
I thought I was going to be doing more stamping but I've actually gone on to crochet more! I've made 3 more crochet projects that I'll share soon. Sometimes I do get the urge to color something but these days it's so much easier to pick up some yarn and my hook and crochet. And there is so much pretty yarn. Every day I spend maybe too much time staring at the yarn online!<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by!<br />

Wow, I know everyone says this and I say it all the time but the months are just flying by. I feel like we just started January and now it's mid-March. I also feel like I haven't been creating much. I do feel like I've been cleaning the house way more! I don't like that. But literally, I think I have been cleaning something every day! It's either vacuuming, doing the laundry, cleaning the bathrooms or something. Ugh! And then it's cooking cooking cooking! And then it's the dishes! Sometimes I would just not like to clean or cook anything for one complete day. Maybe just craft all day? <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I did get a chance to finish these tags using <a href="https://mamaelephant.com/" target="_blank">Mama Elephant</a>'s Little Bunny Agenda stamps. I love this little size. And because I went with white bunnies, I didn't have to do much coloring!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This is the reverse side of the tag. The tags are dies from Mama Elephant as well. These tags would make super cute shaker tags. I love the pretty stitched details on these dies.<br />

Here are the rest of the tags. Don't mind the words I placed on the photos. That is just how I separated them to list in my Etsy shop.<br />
<br />
I started using my Instagram account under @simplymadehawaii if you want to follow along. I don't have much on there yet. I'm too busy watching all the cute animal videos on there. It's so addictive and funny and cute!<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by!<br />

Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy. I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with. I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsJlDMu33DWaM8aLbnu8Gk6h3pwVDuo2EzWQ07BHVeYjQiVql892-AB9neTL0qph8Orxps9ReqIk57i0bRnWRfgy9fm-3_mEufF6nzyh1y3aPJeXpoRJ2_2-Nwo3Sr2ZHGF4llBY9L2ss/s1600/robotDSC03147.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="768" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsJlDMu33DWaM8aLbnu8Gk6h3pwVDuo2EzWQ07BHVeYjQiVql892-AB9neTL0qph8Orxps9ReqIk57i0bRnWRfgy9fm-3_mEufF6nzyh1y3aPJeXpoRJ2_2-Nwo3Sr2ZHGF4llBY9L2ss/s400/robotDSC03147.JPG" width="383" /></a></div>
This is a little crocheted robot designed by <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/BubblegumBelles?ref=l2-shopheader-name" target="_blank">Bubblegum Belles</a>. You can find the pattern <a href="https://www.etsy.com/transaction/1389827519" target="_blank">HERE</a>. Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute. But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not. It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfv5bhe9c9ECti9QMRvxQBNGXPf-pM7OUtenVwQeJ50FIVRQNvYzwd6jCbfH1t11Js-SrOIRgJY8zT-cHGRMUuMqZDeo-re64HF1GM46UE8IPi6DcC2eKlvhZU0_kRSnxvbAEganF-6xA/s1600/robotDSC03334.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="720" data-original-width="800" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfv5bhe9c9ECti9QMRvxQBNGXPf-pM7OUtenVwQeJ50FIVRQNvYzwd6jCbfH1t11Js-SrOIRgJY8zT-cHGRMUuMqZDeo-re64HF1GM46UE8IPi6DcC2eKlvhZU0_kRSnxvbAEganF-6xA/s400/robotDSC03334.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
Here is a different view of him. Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom. I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot. I tried stitching one heart directly onto the robot but it was hard to sew and looked messy so I redid it another way to make it look neater.<br />
<br />

This is the punny tag I stamped for him. The letter stamps are from Lawn Fawn. <br />

I took a group photo of the amigurumi I made recently. They're a cute bunch! <br />
<br />
February seemed to be a big month for sales! I ended up buying a few new stamps and dies. I added Mama Elephant's Bunny Agenda to my collection. The bunnies are just too adorable!<br />
<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I crocheted this using a pattern by Sarah Sloyer. You can find the pattern <a href="https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/dumpling-kitty" target="_blank">HERE</a>. The trickiest part were the ears but she has a video tutorial which really helps.<br />

I really like the profile of this kitty. He looks so plump!<br />

I stamped a punny cat tag for this kitty too. The stamps are from MFT.<br />

I still have a few more amigurumi to share. See, I have been crocheting more! It's been keeping my hands busy. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtrpe3FFm8aOL5k3_HS9yN0SNhuUwF-RzM2cMXY-MJjPS03gSJFXtGJMxCrsm_dBc26YheoB7FWpmMjXEzMsCsu1qhzrufBipVENsT2ifu1N9E72X_6Vpg74ar9E6NORiNp6yd4WIgye8/s1600/cactusDSC03260.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="794" data-original-width="800" height="396" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtrpe3FFm8aOL5k3_HS9yN0SNhuUwF-RzM2cMXY-MJjPS03gSJFXtGJMxCrsm_dBc26YheoB7FWpmMjXEzMsCsu1qhzrufBipVENsT2ifu1N9E72X_6Vpg74ar9E6NORiNp6yd4WIgye8/s400/cactusDSC03260.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
Here is a kawaii cactus I crocheted from a pattern by <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/SuperCuteDesignShop" target="_blank">Super Cute Design</a>. I actually got the pattern for the <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/515974224/cactus-bunnies-pdf-pattern-amigurumi?ref=shop_home_active_14" target="_blank">cactus bunnies</a> but decided not to put the bunny ears and face on the pot. Instead, I added facial features to the cactus. The cactus bunnies are cute but I do love the face on the cactus too. I added this skinny tag that I stamped with a sentiment from My Favorite Things.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMPm0e56riOAYSVGmtSfV8dLBJTpCKbi89OWHTnGOeCCRtI8Uq7uVVYZwgUyioztwHhmibTicqw3jHjH8XUQSKk20SqlNYiaRfNyRmANcVvt5mSu7pX20bXHOKXqcd-dm3fsi49kCt31o/s1600/cactusDSC02396.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="773" data-original-width="800" height="386" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMPm0e56riOAYSVGmtSfV8dLBJTpCKbi89OWHTnGOeCCRtI8Uq7uVVYZwgUyioztwHhmibTicqw3jHjH8XUQSKk20SqlNYiaRfNyRmANcVvt5mSu7pX20bXHOKXqcd-dm3fsi49kCt31o/s400/cactusDSC02396.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
This cactus is so sweet and fits in the palm of my hand. I used Lion Brand's 24/7 cotton yarn except for the flower on top which is acrylic yarn, I think probably from Red Heart yarn.<br />
<br />
I have two more crocheted projects to share. Hopefully I'll post about them soon.<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by!<br />

I know I have been sharing lots of crocheted projects lately. I have been crocheting more than card making but I think I'll be making more cards soon to stock up my shop again. I have a lot of stamps that have yet to be used! I think I may need to do another destash sale. <br />
<br />
Today I have a kawaii pineapple purse to share made from a pattern by <a href="http://www.allaboutami.com/" target="_blank">Stephanie from All About Ami</a>. The pineapple purse pattern is <a href="http://www.allaboutami.com/amigurumi-pineapple-purse/" target="_blank">HERE</a>. Stephanie has some of the best patterns in crochet blogland. I love that she takes the time to photo some of her crocheting steps because it makes the pattern that much clearer especially when it can get confusing about where to place your next stitch.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9XvroN4T6H_Lmr4YUCwv9H1UrMjfefvZNZpmy9IL1qXe4r4HFzwiEMi8lCIp6wgwDJg9HO73xZjNXxVMD0otd-ccW5c7oAUW6DGhK42b7SycZGlouhbbD165IrJcARFSNK6vreq-vfK8/s1600/pineappleDSC02952.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="784" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9XvroN4T6H_Lmr4YUCwv9H1UrMjfefvZNZpmy9IL1qXe4r4HFzwiEMi8lCIp6wgwDJg9HO73xZjNXxVMD0otd-ccW5c7oAUW6DGhK42b7SycZGlouhbbD165IrJcARFSNK6vreq-vfK8/s400/pineappleDSC02952.JPG" width="391" /></a></div>
Took a photo after I crocheted part of the pineapple and placed the eyes, mouth and some pink cheeks. I used Lion Brand's 24/7 yarn too that the pattern was made in.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjXbaP93PiOzQ1K2046rvNrNyv7E4EsRwPO2pEkhXIZ-ZTHTBAgxQHGNRZ3SLe9L5hy0chSA3yQhjNV3jZ2HlneU4RJOuZMSzL2Hk6YNaFEn8k1ANkFf6RkUWrAuAc3HBGmu6JJJAEodY/s1600/pineappleDSC02955.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="731" data-original-width="800" height="365" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjXbaP93PiOzQ1K2046rvNrNyv7E4EsRwPO2pEkhXIZ-ZTHTBAgxQHGNRZ3SLe9L5hy0chSA3yQhjNV3jZ2HlneU4RJOuZMSzL2Hk6YNaFEn8k1ANkFf6RkUWrAuAc3HBGmu6JJJAEodY/s400/pineappleDSC02955.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I thought about lining this purse since the inside would show the safety eyes and stitches but then opted not too because lining this purse seemed challenging. I guess some people hand sew the lining but I've seen people also machine sew the fabric to crochet pieces. I'll have to be brave next time and give that a try.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiepWYZa6IugCmwreeaVaJ4DIO7HPpE13ZIjdJusQuErRQyMXLerTwXebFhbBgviNmpdwTBIyVv1zahGJfLSZFbXHFXHH4Ev8mFCcqdmQ8lzPmgNF6oDFK2Rarmlk7HCfwF6cvcu026bcc/s1600/pineappleDSC03001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="715" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiepWYZa6IugCmwreeaVaJ4DIO7HPpE13ZIjdJusQuErRQyMXLerTwXebFhbBgviNmpdwTBIyVv1zahGJfLSZFbXHFXHH4Ev8mFCcqdmQ8lzPmgNF6oDFK2Rarmlk7HCfwF6cvcu026bcc/s400/pineappleDSC03001.JPG" width="357" /></a></div>
Here's the pineapple with its crown and open at the top.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLak0lQ4EzAqLeySAo3Vn9hJU1oL-H0V8IjWdBomV7PQB-Fv5bASnsihLTMdsCSgzY3xHXdCd08tkUu6Q7TLeHkwRvtH5MiKWOYk4MrL0goMqmE5PTKM4Pllg3bUqMfxdRYhnoXir7k1s/s1600/pineappleDSC02992.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="767" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLak0lQ4EzAqLeySAo3Vn9hJU1oL-H0V8IjWdBomV7PQB-Fv5bASnsihLTMdsCSgzY3xHXdCd08tkUu6Q7TLeHkwRvtH5MiKWOYk4MrL0goMqmE5PTKM4Pllg3bUqMfxdRYhnoXir7k1s/s400/pineappleDSC02992.JPG" width="382" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Here's how it looks with the drawstring close. It's pretty cute, isn't it?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFrrMkipPxBiFvNruXgKBLO5bZWkxirCyzgjSFVkcahMYlWlW3l1vaiRwcMN91jPynfTmtt24OU80E0SlTbhtjKZyojmBUXFCqnm2vk6uL-Rbm2r9jWRN3cG-IzAt3cTSSHbXjtsKmDBE/s1600/pineappleDSC02998.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="743" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFrrMkipPxBiFvNruXgKBLO5bZWkxirCyzgjSFVkcahMYlWlW3l1vaiRwcMN91jPynfTmtt24OU80E0SlTbhtjKZyojmBUXFCqnm2vk6uL-Rbm2r9jWRN3cG-IzAt3cTSSHbXjtsKmDBE/s400/pineappleDSC02998.JPG" width="371" /></a></div>
I also learned how to crochet this cord (I-cord) that I used for the drawstring and used a cord lock. All of the links to that are also in the <a href="http://www.allaboutami.com/amigurumi-pineapple-purse/" target="_blank">pattern post</a>.<br />
<br />
This little purse won't be in my shop though. I've opted to gift it to a blog friend who loves pineapples. Hopefully I'll make another one.<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by!<br />

It's a pretty dark and rainy morning today. Hoping we get some sunshine soon because we have plans to be outdoors later. <br />
<br />
Today I have another cute amigurumi to share. I used a pattern by <a href="http://www.lalylala.com/" target="_blank">lalylala</a>. She's got a very unique style for sure and I love her imagination. She has an Etsy store too <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/lalylala" target="_blank">HERE</a>. I decided to try her maneki neko pattern which comes in her New Year's Eve pattern set. It is really cute!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2QlGjGp7jYcPtRnrPmRoGcJQYBXcSUQVhAv0PJJIM90IlsXsGqdH4ugJL7lqHFIUhsSAEeaaoiupNnBhuTOXL8gqKAsxRJ7jorxmA51YwO3EP0L3Q2VB27F4riyN2I-6S41BgUbxkD98/s1600/nekoDSC03054.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="769" data-original-width="800" height="383" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2QlGjGp7jYcPtRnrPmRoGcJQYBXcSUQVhAv0PJJIM90IlsXsGqdH4ugJL7lqHFIUhsSAEeaaoiupNnBhuTOXL8gqKAsxRJ7jorxmA51YwO3EP0L3Q2VB27F4riyN2I-6S41BgUbxkD98/s400/nekoDSC03054.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
He's only a few inches tall and fits in my hand. I used <a href="http://www.lionbrand.com/" target="_blank">Lion Brand</a>'s 24/7 cotton yarn with a 2.0mm hook. I did have to do his legs a couple times to get it right and almost did give up but happy I got to finish him cause he is really cute.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheHe6apw2yLGOm2YazSYr4CsgNdVgClu-FzeNeeoC9tVbDqNbk9RVr6Y8J1rps93sfVc5T9wPDzefYl72tSjqXI4BSLOjBS1WJb0agZSCAosW3v0FwwymP0EIX7ggRpf9HBlbzk4cvrYc/s1600/nekoDSC03067.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="784" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheHe6apw2yLGOm2YazSYr4CsgNdVgClu-FzeNeeoC9tVbDqNbk9RVr6Y8J1rps93sfVc5T9wPDzefYl72tSjqXI4BSLOjBS1WJb0agZSCAosW3v0FwwymP0EIX7ggRpf9HBlbzk4cvrYc/s400/nekoDSC03067.JPG" width="391" /></a></div>
He has a tail and that actually helps to prop him up a bit because he doesn't stand on his own two feet! Changing yarn colors in this pattern was not too difficult either once you get the hang of it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVN_N8mo82QxivslRuZ_4AoIfRCw6-zr7GWByhFMe0llAMcXek_i_tNZB554Cnln0hZpeovpjif7mUGIs6BQ6eUaETX6cngreGWjE0V4eB-PC0v7ggjUF4h-EDmyZlinRWUIzcdY_zdLM/s1600/nekoDSC03084.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="760" data-original-width="800" height="380" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVN_N8mo82QxivslRuZ_4AoIfRCw6-zr7GWByhFMe0llAMcXek_i_tNZB554Cnln0hZpeovpjif7mUGIs6BQ6eUaETX6cngreGWjE0V4eB-PC0v7ggjUF4h-EDmyZlinRWUIzcdY_zdLM/s400/nekoDSC03084.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I like his paw that is raised inviting good fortune.<br />
<br />

I made a tag for him too using stamps from Mama Elephant. This tag didn't take me as long as the octopi one, thank goodness!<br />
<br />
By the way, my 2018 calendars are on sale if you're interested. Thanks for stopping by!<br />

How many tries does it take for you to create something you love? Can you complete a card or a tag in one sitting or do you change things around often? Today I wanted to share the process I went through in creating a simple tag. It was the tag that I made to go along with my crocheted octopus in my previous post.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1089qJmr-s4LswME1q0jzQt4AtHNl2y2qmQB1LugX7_WKgHpd3uLCIYSiqhUAy8iwvFGdkFCUyC5L_c2e0zYEm6YI_OyPDvcjD5w35kPVQQSuiexRIBSAGBSB7de9JbRNLWKwLhmBozY/s1600/octopusDSC03033.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="775" data-original-width="800" height="387" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1089qJmr-s4LswME1q0jzQt4AtHNl2y2qmQB1LugX7_WKgHpd3uLCIYSiqhUAy8iwvFGdkFCUyC5L_c2e0zYEm6YI_OyPDvcjD5w35kPVQQSuiexRIBSAGBSB7de9JbRNLWKwLhmBozY/s400/octopusDSC03033.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
See the tag behind the octopus? Looks pretty simple, right? I didn't even have to color the images. I just stamped them in colored ink but it took me much longer than I thought it would.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5rzzFrs6xyUiGKZ91kjIMLeD-NFiYAkbIwUYtR6PCCv5Gg-8GhKqkLAgJGEKjIJYKuGikQSdMcZpHb6hSu3ojg4fsUNXXCk-pUWwkvmEM4joEIbj4oJV8So2r7-8i9ElqB9c5ckEsMQk/s1600/tagDSC02961.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="775" data-original-width="800" height="386" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5rzzFrs6xyUiGKZ91kjIMLeD-NFiYAkbIwUYtR6PCCv5Gg-8GhKqkLAgJGEKjIJYKuGikQSdMcZpHb6hSu3ojg4fsUNXXCk-pUWwkvmEM4joEIbj4oJV8So2r7-8i9ElqB9c5ckEsMQk/s400/tagDSC02961.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
Try #1. I thought I wanted to use this cardstock that had the small specks of color in it so I stamped my octopus image on it twice. And it had to be more than once because "octopi" is plural, right? I couldn't just stamp it once cause it would be kind of grammatically off. Yeah, I think my mind is a little picky at times.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiIr73HUc6y23XEOdQF0FmH_vNBBeghnSCprtX_fHFkZqdNlIBt0th9xPB5MQn-cFC06UaG0vEUsF26fIMB6An6dM6BjrtRVW8cRxQJvb3hkT3c-7jCNxrrQgcYUuUrdNX3L0ma6ylw9U/s1600/tagDSC02966.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="795" data-original-width="800" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiIr73HUc6y23XEOdQF0FmH_vNBBeghnSCprtX_fHFkZqdNlIBt0th9xPB5MQn-cFC06UaG0vEUsF26fIMB6An6dM6BjrtRVW8cRxQJvb3hkT3c-7jCNxrrQgcYUuUrdNX3L0ma6ylw9U/s400/tagDSC02966.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
But then I had a scrap piece of kraft cardstock and I stamped the blue octopus on it and liked it better so I switched to kraft.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiC_-SYTfR8Xjg24z-A55L47O8dQBnNFU62GmSfQsO_HGumMwqq9P6Hz15xSVAsUwD2NYq6oKmzxDR-KwzeTD1ezBcvjYa3gtJrXQIJEcEu5_StMri693m-81AhEtQi_jUTSOtjQPL3Y8/s1600/tagDSC02970.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="749" data-original-width="800" height="373" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiC_-SYTfR8Xjg24z-A55L47O8dQBnNFU62GmSfQsO_HGumMwqq9P6Hz15xSVAsUwD2NYq6oKmzxDR-KwzeTD1ezBcvjYa3gtJrXQIJEcEu5_StMri693m-81AhEtQi_jUTSOtjQPL3Y8/s400/tagDSC02970.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
Try #2. So here I stamped it twice but then realized the sentiment wouldn't fit really nicely anywhere. I thought maybe it might be okay if I just stamped the words on the images but nope, didn't like that look.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirXqIBcnHGL3mSmZAUs4L9DUv15RasYmyH5Dl-mmiokwpAA_EE3Jrg-tHl37WZZPCqYcIHQAadorqejl07ByDogaOrfEpJ1q0x22_1Qbrdz-Q1zp2F_BtgKyyyz2eGIXMkw_HCKkwJ1FA/s1600/tagDSC02974.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="743" data-original-width="800" height="371" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirXqIBcnHGL3mSmZAUs4L9DUv15RasYmyH5Dl-mmiokwpAA_EE3Jrg-tHl37WZZPCqYcIHQAadorqejl07ByDogaOrfEpJ1q0x22_1Qbrdz-Q1zp2F_BtgKyyyz2eGIXMkw_HCKkwJ1FA/s400/tagDSC02974.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
Try #3. I flipped the orientation of the tag and thought I could just partially stamp the octopus images and it would look neat. And I could live with the sentiment being over the tentacle of the octopus just a bit. But look at the bottom right corner! I bent the tag in the corner when I tried taking it out of the die! Might not be that noticeable but still it kind of bugs me. And also the "my heart" part of the sentiment is a bit too close to the lower octopus. So this tag was out too.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNPK7ejOBidMlOuY5VQJApNDwPrFROHuGe28J_YtAfdfl9zMU_Yse-xy_IYnFiKCGaAomeXUQnbXzcJSDwqmIKxerX8pjfWKqvf97cVRYhxdqtCwqt9QsYsFCOCLWeE2aQEU9JVQ76o6o/s1600/tagDSC02978.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="747" data-original-width="800" height="372" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNPK7ejOBidMlOuY5VQJApNDwPrFROHuGe28J_YtAfdfl9zMU_Yse-xy_IYnFiKCGaAomeXUQnbXzcJSDwqmIKxerX8pjfWKqvf97cVRYhxdqtCwqt9QsYsFCOCLWeE2aQEU9JVQ76o6o/s400/tagDSC02978.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
Try #4. Here's the tag I finally was satisfied with! I stamped pink hearts on it too.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5sHJrUGGjW5LvzFXORKofUL1eBiVdlMs-zzic40ZeEorSMD3NiJtbX7ZHgKuDN0Cs6XwsYmGUiY7zFDTnJMu8B2cgO92SI8K1uvmZZ80hWR7VLMpaDGL7Vyn9aG0gmlRpijgkRwe2Bt0/s1600/tagDSC02980.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="732" data-original-width="800" height="365" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5sHJrUGGjW5LvzFXORKofUL1eBiVdlMs-zzic40ZeEorSMD3NiJtbX7ZHgKuDN0Cs6XwsYmGUiY7zFDTnJMu8B2cgO92SI8K1uvmZZ80hWR7VLMpaDGL7Vyn9aG0gmlRpijgkRwe2Bt0/s400/tagDSC02980.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
But here was my next change. I thought I would use the light pink cardstock for the hole protector of the tag but realized it didn't match the colors of the tag as nicely as the darker pink cardstock. The darker pink matched the stamped hearts so I went with that color.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh82Dp7N_0R79-IihH2x33IPgPX63ebyzqNExEHXaUdmcGe8GfsAApFko_ErrI0phW_frLnxCnlHOByPbWw6HZaHSUaBSEtg5QET3QMv8TxrkbBWAKqm2uH4bjjMIcKNaAUswPZ0gEAwWY/s1600/tagDSC02984.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="716" data-original-width="800" height="357" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh82Dp7N_0R79-IihH2x33IPgPX63ebyzqNExEHXaUdmcGe8GfsAApFko_ErrI0phW_frLnxCnlHOByPbWw6HZaHSUaBSEtg5QET3QMv8TxrkbBWAKqm2uH4bjjMIcKNaAUswPZ0gEAwWY/s400/tagDSC02984.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
But where should I attached the hole protector? Slightly over the tag as in the above photo? I wouldn't have to punch a hole in the tag. But is it sturdy enough like that? Seems like it might be kind of weak. But it's kind of a neat look and I might make tags like that at a later time.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjANqukGj97xUI6R63V71FEdSSKfJ9GKW2hnLRR4nVy-2PjCzF-uU3im_XHrLYNC3kqfK0gNIGamiYZPdIAYcEvFNuvQ6f8-Nq6g6H7zvBBBsNqfjF8Zz5X-0RTlxad2o_ZMbQVydTFY3g/s1600/tagDSC02987.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="798" data-original-width="800" height="398" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjANqukGj97xUI6R63V71FEdSSKfJ9GKW2hnLRR4nVy-2PjCzF-uU3im_XHrLYNC3kqfK0gNIGamiYZPdIAYcEvFNuvQ6f8-Nq6g6H7zvBBBsNqfjF8Zz5X-0RTlxad2o_ZMbQVydTFY3g/s400/tagDSC02987.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
Finally in the end I went with the hole die cut being flush with the tag. I had to punch a hole in the tag but that wasn't a problem. So those are all the steps I took to create a tag that I was happy with. I can just imagine if I had to color the images!<br />
<br />
I wonder if other stampers and crafters can relate to this? I'd get more things done if I was just happy with my first couple tries.<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by!<br />

Did you notice I changed the look of the blog? Thinking I wanted a change especially since it's the new year and still January, and I noticed lots of things like my bloglist was really out of date. I guess people don't blog as much as they used to, myself included.<br />

Today I have this cute amigurumi octopus to share! Isn't it adorable? This is from a pattern by the <a href="https://lefthandedcrocheter.com/" target="_blank">Left-Handed Crocheter</a> you can find <a href="https://lefthandedcrocheter.com/2016/08/16/octopus-frenzy/" target="_blank">HERE</a>. She has lots of photos of different octopus she has made and they are all adorable! I made mine on the smaller size but she also has a pattern for a huge one which I may try at a later time.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

You can also prop him up on his legs! I made him using Caron Simply Soft yarn and a 2.75mm hook.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix02oFnDKGPugZpSrlUo5mANh4uQJxlhYPyDaog4vbQZ27lzREZQjolCBcC3tr1VcbuYQvhOZzRyNwL2mepUa-ScBJW0ZHeaMG8fAsCY74PLlJ0Q8sdPAFi9ad8G53GowYtKiV2SIMA9w/s1600/octopusDSC03028.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="778" data-original-width="800" height="388" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix02oFnDKGPugZpSrlUo5mANh4uQJxlhYPyDaog4vbQZ27lzREZQjolCBcC3tr1VcbuYQvhOZzRyNwL2mepUa-ScBJW0ZHeaMG8fAsCY74PLlJ0Q8sdPAFi9ad8G53GowYtKiV2SIMA9w/s400/octopusDSC03028.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
Also made this tag to go along with him. The stamps are from Lawn Fawn and the tag itself is from My Favorite Things and Mama Elephant. Really a mish mash of dies and stamps.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Here they are together! A cute little gift to present to someone. <br />
<br />

I swear every year I buy calendars and tell myself to start early. But the calendars usually just sit on my desk for a good few months before I even open them to make a calendar! Though I think I did better this past year than previous years. This year instead of just being motivated, I need to be more disciplined! I need to finish goals and check off my to do list even if I don't feel like doing anything. I guess that is the trap you fall into when you work at home and work for yourself. <br />
<br />

Here is the first batch of dog calendars I made using Mama Elephant's new dog die. You can make a lot of different kinds of dogs with the die but I chose to make a simple one because I procrastinate too much. <br />

Here is a close up. I think he is still pretty cute being a simple dog.<br />
<br />

This is my second and last batch of calendars. I used one of the dogs from Mama Elephant's Dog Agenda stamp set. He is holding a couple of money bags and I thought that is so cute and funny. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf1EVz9yFB6KY5jFqFf1A1Dudv5JvLM6AS0NUm_h-2j7s2-RAKCC6dVDHjA-BqSsEK0ukhHNqIo1PU5a97wgH8Ggypibp5yjvOQt62Ggmu4CMdDD28v86AaTvnayuX-49Wgjl85Aqgi-I/s1600/spuppycalDSC02915.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="734" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf1EVz9yFB6KY5jFqFf1A1Dudv5JvLM6AS0NUm_h-2j7s2-RAKCC6dVDHjA-BqSsEK0ukhHNqIo1PU5a97wgH8Ggypibp5yjvOQt62Ggmu4CMdDD28v86AaTvnayuX-49Wgjl85Aqgi-I/s400/spuppycalDSC02915.JPG" width="366" /></a></div>
I paired the image with a sentiment also from Mama Elephant that says "wishing you good fortune." I blended the background and stamped the sentiment with distress oxides. I love how the distress oxides stamp! They are so clear and dark and don't usually have to stamp the image or sentiment more than once. I have some of the colors from the first set that came out but wondering if I need the other colors. They are all kind of similar, aren't they?<br />
<br />
Okay, that is it for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!<br />

Happy New Year! Even though it is almost the end of January already. I'm still trying to get my motivation back after the long holiday break I took in December. I have mental lists of things I'd like to finish and things I need to start. I still have calendars to make! I think that is something that will never change.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhz9tyCzucwq5CHJgMugGhJp2Lk7cmBQThpoko17Jl4dWfunLhvQuE6WZPdUJ__BM_G5FgZEp-Z80bU4puQeYTaLT4rAJnSKm1FKwtYAjkQez7MnIocyL0ijxA9bWh9iRkDItJVyJcAPJ0/s1600/rolysnowmanDSC02054.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="679" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhz9tyCzucwq5CHJgMugGhJp2Lk7cmBQThpoko17Jl4dWfunLhvQuE6WZPdUJ__BM_G5FgZEp-Z80bU4puQeYTaLT4rAJnSKm1FKwtYAjkQez7MnIocyL0ijxA9bWh9iRkDItJVyJcAPJ0/s400/rolysnowmanDSC02054.JPG" width="338" /></a></div>
This is a snowman I crocheted in December following a pattern by <a href="https://storylandamis.com/" target="_blank">Holly from Storyland Amis</a>. She has some cute patterns in her shop! I've bought up a whole bunch of her Christmas ones but have not finished them all. This was the first one I tried and her patterns are simple to follow and there are lots of photos! I like when there are lots of photos.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJoT908TnifSnhPJOX95iEhcVkkHxZEWfaHeGb1t0Pp-eRrSQmkEeTS-CN0oH8yYLgtrZ5nUoCAhBs8L_VmSFdh_HJ0faU2vJ-SIPwetkwzj5pXZDUtmxjr2gg-WUwE5vXWW5NtmBJTFs/s1600/rolysnowmanDSC02065.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="713" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJoT908TnifSnhPJOX95iEhcVkkHxZEWfaHeGb1t0Pp-eRrSQmkEeTS-CN0oH8yYLgtrZ5nUoCAhBs8L_VmSFdh_HJ0faU2vJ-SIPwetkwzj5pXZDUtmxjr2gg-WUwE5vXWW5NtmBJTFs/s400/rolysnowmanDSC02065.JPG" width="356" /></a></div>
He is a little larger than the amigurumis I usually make. I tend to make smaller things because I'm kind of impatient. But this guy came out pretty cute! His hat and scarf comes off too! So you could make a whole other color combo too. I added fringe onto his red scarf.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9UvVtTQuCypiAy2xerEZDc4o9oxylFEukw687Ty4gqoU8-USLpfuliXXex_i-um8UrTty98xdEwhqXe33Xx_Tyh-qSxEz2hUkSyFuPHCONaob-q0PRaX7K71ovptYFyCO8x85ExClI2Y/s1600/ggbrdmanDSC02289.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="645" data-original-width="800" height="322" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9UvVtTQuCypiAy2xerEZDc4o9oxylFEukw687Ty4gqoU8-USLpfuliXXex_i-um8UrTty98xdEwhqXe33Xx_Tyh-qSxEz2hUkSyFuPHCONaob-q0PRaX7K71ovptYFyCO8x85ExClI2Y/s400/ggbrdmanDSC02289.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I also made this cute gingerbread boy following another one of Holly's patterns. He is super cute! He has a twin sister but I have not gotten to make her yet. I'm hoping I can make the whole set of her Christmas patterns this year. <br />
<br />
That is all for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!<br />

Wow, it's December already! I can't believe how this year has flown by. I keep thinking there is still time to craft and make new projects but the days just go by so quickly. I still had 2 more Christmas projects to complete but after thinking about it, I'm just going to wait for next year. I'm kind of tired! And there is still Christmas shopping and wrapping presents, and this year I want to make and decorate cookies! Maybe if they look decent I'll share them here. I plan to close up the shop for a short vacation from the 15th until the 26th. Maybe I'll craft during that time or not. Mostly I'll be making cookies!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1NjaguGF4zcB-208Othqe7kP0XEvFwS4gyPPS-shlExDH8uniBqUG2fNLZ-LtiQuvmkpjczHuNlCvoXPxeLFq8gzpHlYlAEchCedqWBtzmZyXg13ZlFYCS88MKHevOniZn3q7X9zdrpk/s1600/pupcalDSC01698.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="763" data-original-width="800" height="381" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1NjaguGF4zcB-208Othqe7kP0XEvFwS4gyPPS-shlExDH8uniBqUG2fNLZ-LtiQuvmkpjczHuNlCvoXPxeLFq8gzpHlYlAEchCedqWBtzmZyXg13ZlFYCS88MKHevOniZn3q7X9zdrpk/s400/pupcalDSC01698.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I made more calendars using Mama Elephant's Dog Agenda stamps. The paper is from Doodlebug. These are adorable! And I listed them a little while ago in my shop so some are sold out.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYNCF52ou_rq8IFAl95Mo1fuu2VYlZHYNbjbKI6H4NfhsWW16H7kFmyzQOW7rHZkb41x7lRUqPmy4lMM6RDeFTKyklTKNG9VjSjSrlUppmh7twMmC2lX3yDaiG12I9fVEjvq0JamrVF0I/s1600/catpupcalDSC01612.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="800" height="372" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYNCF52ou_rq8IFAl95Mo1fuu2VYlZHYNbjbKI6H4NfhsWW16H7kFmyzQOW7rHZkb41x7lRUqPmy4lMM6RDeFTKyklTKNG9VjSjSrlUppmh7twMmC2lX3yDaiG12I9fVEjvq0JamrVF0I/s400/catpupcalDSC01612.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
And then I thought wouldn't it be cute to pair a dog and cat together? So I did. And the smiling clouds in the background are super cute. My personal favorite is the crafting one! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Just wanted to share that I made another round of tags! 101 tags! This is my last bunch for the year. If you're interested, they are all listed in the shop.<br />
<br />
Thank you for stopping by!<br />

Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving! It was nice to relax for a couple of days except for all the cooking of course. I think one year I may just skip the cooking and get take out! But my youngest one really enjoys eating all the traditional Thanksgiving dishes. So maybe I'll have to wait until he is a little older.<br />
<br />
I'm back to share more coffee cup shaped cards. These are a bit more cutesy.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhY0GCwOMmByU0VEuwYZHXRmI6Po7AGU7RKn5Y13AfuNOYqAGqQfYazsn_4iLCAMYUhCgQFVQ93KpajMrtNmoODvf7XyA2Km_xavPliv3GVkjhZptyg4Ozc7fLRO9k0kB0u4N5gcskE_AI/s1600/santagingerbrdDSC01538.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="786" data-original-width="800" height="314" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhY0GCwOMmByU0VEuwYZHXRmI6Po7AGU7RKn5Y13AfuNOYqAGqQfYazsn_4iLCAMYUhCgQFVQ93KpajMrtNmoODvf7XyA2Km_xavPliv3GVkjhZptyg4Ozc7fLRO9k0kB0u4N5gcskE_AI/s320/santagingerbrdDSC01538.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I used some Doodlebug paper for the front. The coffee cup shaped cards are made from dies from Honey Bee Stamps. The sentiment and holly are from Lawn Fawn. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlryzy0QlZqwMvEwTaWemMcJByZpLzO_hSIhKZXVlaLsyTR1LIS6aQoaFuc3cBBSjlu_DQVh-jGht313pdGG4FT1wpaVDoaUF7vmlx6aqJtHc90gSd2WZHN8GpTBVy-Y_QzqzcrZdzONM/s1600/gingerbrdDSC01593.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="712" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlryzy0QlZqwMvEwTaWemMcJByZpLzO_hSIhKZXVlaLsyTR1LIS6aQoaFuc3cBBSjlu_DQVh-jGht313pdGG4FT1wpaVDoaUF7vmlx6aqJtHc90gSd2WZHN8GpTBVy-Y_QzqzcrZdzONM/s320/gingerbrdDSC01593.JPG" width="284" /></a></div>
This gingerbread cookie print is so cute! The sleeve on here is a pale pink color so the colors a bit nontraditional for Christmas.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQdFPh8tUCEOsJjYAugCFYl5TWYlf-TKZSJCAwsNhnuglIZEcYT_mEVPi-89xnGuH7bgJQXAvzRJl8AoLjyuCU8ryC3zpLMKbUuok0RybY6U67AZ65rtxNfTHgcGxX2BJcRLSvx6aMKPg/s1600/santaDSC01558.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="714" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQdFPh8tUCEOsJjYAugCFYl5TWYlf-TKZSJCAwsNhnuglIZEcYT_mEVPi-89xnGuH7bgJQXAvzRJl8AoLjyuCU8ryC3zpLMKbUuok0RybY6U67AZ65rtxNfTHgcGxX2BJcRLSvx6aMKPg/s320/santaDSC01558.JPG" width="285" /></a></div>
And this one has a bunch of cute Santas!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoukMcHYQoa8vYLgtxwIANZSTUMgNXnxMyPfLVrmYuFD6vhXSoHIiBcW2M1vfaOI58UryWmQ4ZHyt6EuFa4-0ELQqg1XFGAeFFmesCmZw0w4T2qO1DS0Xme4zPTR-B1ZdbtA6MD1UI_d0/s1600/insideDSC01561.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoukMcHYQoa8vYLgtxwIANZSTUMgNXnxMyPfLVrmYuFD6vhXSoHIiBcW2M1vfaOI58UryWmQ4ZHyt6EuFa4-0ELQqg1XFGAeFFmesCmZw0w4T2qO1DS0Xme4zPTR-B1ZdbtA6MD1UI_d0/s320/insideDSC01561.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
And this is the inside with the gift card holder slot which I made using a die from MFT. So the whole base of these cards is kraft cardstock.<br />
<br />
I am still trying to cross everything off my crafty list for this year. I listed a bunch more small calendars with Mama Elephants dog agenda and cat agenda. I'm currently making more tags! Hoping to finish them next week. Next time I'll share the calendars I made.<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by!<br />

I think after this post I may need a little nap! My right shoulder is actually feeling worn out from all the typing and photo editing I've been doing lately. And this cooler weather is making me drowsy. It's getting cold here already!<br />

I made a bunch of these coffee shaped cards using a die from <a href="http://shop.honeybeestamps.com/" target="_blank">Honey Bee Stamps</a>. It's a cute coffee set but the die is extra long so it would probably help to have a longer platform to diecut. I just have the standard sized one so I would pass it through once in my Big Shot and then rotate the cardstock and die carefully to cut the other end. Manageable but the longer platform would be more convenient!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLhaxcFsewjUZgys8MEzIHdRAxBf86WwTrAoYEY88dI3prWmY4lbA2DRweOVWdOtfGmDNP7OKDqBIyP2TaDQznYpm_GjmBpHvQG_tRBqPnYsBA_6nUemLxRNIAmGcqrb1rA3jIZPX69xY/s1600/coffeeDSC01325.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="703" data-original-width="800" height="281" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLhaxcFsewjUZgys8MEzIHdRAxBf86WwTrAoYEY88dI3prWmY4lbA2DRweOVWdOtfGmDNP7OKDqBIyP2TaDQznYpm_GjmBpHvQG_tRBqPnYsBA_6nUemLxRNIAmGcqrb1rA3jIZPX69xY/s320/coffeeDSC01325.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I embossed the front of the card with some pretty snowflakes. I think this is a Sizzix embossing folder. And then stamped the coffee sleeve with some Lawn Fawn stamps.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This is the inside. The gift card slot does not come with this coffee cup die set. I cut that opening with one of the dies from MFT's gift card dies. I thought this would be a cute way to put a gift card and keep it secure in the card.<br />
<br />
I made a couple other cards using this die which I'll share next time. I also listed a bunch more calendars in my shop too if you're interested. I think they turned out cute!<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by!<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEJs6Mym7wOEVA-SlwB7is70zW-H4Ig6OedQz0CTUip26OIzjVwrJInhVmUxkLkLgYUf6yDSMsIE0MGl4kxXTdTfIMkW7YP6rGuH2PiAAdiXAxsqsE2bKONd9yoV1aXU1tCWnFqGBkmrw/s1600/irisnowmanDSC01264.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="799" data-original-width="800" height="319" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEJs6Mym7wOEVA-SlwB7is70zW-H4Ig6OedQz0CTUip26OIzjVwrJInhVmUxkLkLgYUf6yDSMsIE0MGl4kxXTdTfIMkW7YP6rGuH2PiAAdiXAxsqsE2bKONd9yoV1aXU1tCWnFqGBkmrw/s320/irisnowmanDSC01264.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
These are thin cut iridescent white snowmen. I also have them in a plain white color.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioa43FbCTfixOwiDSYUOlDgr_IBmof9YQOfk70rEvnI_o3AahVDTzk45w-tuCiXBvb8WS1ycgi7zSmlxSS0XZwt-zrAgfVEgKUElHRW3zvbEG_YTscZmGsdDnkX6HzYbntkbUGjqWzfEg/s1600/mapleleavesDSC01286.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="785" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioa43FbCTfixOwiDSYUOlDgr_IBmof9YQOfk70rEvnI_o3AahVDTzk45w-tuCiXBvb8WS1ycgi7zSmlxSS0XZwt-zrAgfVEgKUElHRW3zvbEG_YTscZmGsdDnkX6HzYbntkbUGjqWzfEg/s320/mapleleavesDSC01286.JPG" width="314" /></a></div>
These are maple leaves. I love this style a lot more than the ones I used to stock in my shop. The quality of these are a lot more consistent but they are not chunky like the other ones.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmOTiJ3ms_Vv7rbnUt9e1AIazOYYadyLGh_v3s-FrD_rv4pTo228pK_5vsDbNMrR6hR6qspLsmk4Er5360F7I8W-joRxh4fLfM-vHkgqO8otHtwQTDQl35o5SHIoJsmN58QxzmMl58vpc/s1600/iriuniDSC01401.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="794" data-original-width="800" height="317" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmOTiJ3ms_Vv7rbnUt9e1AIazOYYadyLGh_v3s-FrD_rv4pTo228pK_5vsDbNMrR6hR6qspLsmk4Er5360F7I8W-joRxh4fLfM-vHkgqO8otHtwQTDQl35o5SHIoJsmN58QxzmMl58vpc/s320/iriuniDSC01401.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Unicorns! This one is iridescent white. I also have them in a pink color. These are super cute!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKaDM_pW5K1wNfHIfKh8EG7WSfNRdaLuouXIEjGpz54SWWnkNA5iFNf703w8rUsMedQ8vL6UQWff0iEIhByRtWDGVVD4IuBON10siblqIQAJYr7yIHM_0lTh7NHADD5YWqT7LRG3IV1ag/s1600/pinksakuraDSC01482.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="773" data-original-width="800" height="308" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKaDM_pW5K1wNfHIfKh8EG7WSfNRdaLuouXIEjGpz54SWWnkNA5iFNf703w8rUsMedQ8vL6UQWff0iEIhByRtWDGVVD4IuBON10siblqIQAJYr7yIHM_0lTh7NHADD5YWqT7LRG3IV1ag/s320/pinksakuraDSC01482.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I love these too. Pink cherry blossoms! I also have an iridescent white version of this. So pretty.<br />
<br />

I'm starting to restock some heart shaped confetti too. This one is red hollow hearts and tiny hearts. I have them also in black.<br />
<br />
If you're interested, they're all listed in my shop. Don't forget to use the free shipping code listed in the front of my shop if your order qualifies.<br />
<br />
Thank you so much for visiting.<br />

I'm back today to share something new. It combines my love of cute with funny puns.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvjJb5dJefpyJWvG6uTWl_EaWNNAUKhdpdtmoIT2jsTFoFbOeT5Mnq6CSWQYJa0dYays-CFhdzVbKe3ydUdJOr97Coa8xFfaPYKRzFcndetgoV1n-4oNr9iRZn2nzt73JAWgURiq6zOiY/s1600/turkeyDSC00774.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="752" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvjJb5dJefpyJWvG6uTWl_EaWNNAUKhdpdtmoIT2jsTFoFbOeT5Mnq6CSWQYJa0dYays-CFhdzVbKe3ydUdJOr97Coa8xFfaPYKRzFcndetgoV1n-4oNr9iRZn2nzt73JAWgURiq6zOiY/s400/turkeyDSC00774.JPG" width="375" /></a></div>
I made some fun planner clips using embroidered felt and paper clips. But since I'm also a paper crafter, I thought it be cute to combine the two. So these are my planner clip cards. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhx0Msmf0eY1oCAOADjciQpy1h7HPiOtwqPQ0UrL19P5hG7s41EGjunnB8qrtBRYFwuEVBI-I_dxim9xTNakyIcL4unnlz4jZOVLOVyCheuvj3VXV08cOJekjQ5qjuBpJxp6mGb_1L5wS0/s1600/turkeyDSC00787.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="775" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhx0Msmf0eY1oCAOADjciQpy1h7HPiOtwqPQ0UrL19P5hG7s41EGjunnB8qrtBRYFwuEVBI-I_dxim9xTNakyIcL4unnlz4jZOVLOVyCheuvj3VXV08cOJekjQ5qjuBpJxp6mGb_1L5wS0/s400/turkeyDSC00787.JPG" width="387" /></a></div>
I printed my sentiment using my laser printer and then used my Minc to add the gold foil. I really love the gold foil. I made a few prints that were a bit spotty but then found the right combo and the gold foil seems to be more consistent. I love how the gold foil really elevates the card and matches the gold paper clip too.<br />
<br />

Here's one of my favorite cards. Love the donut and s'more pun! I made a couple other cards which are listed in my shop. I'm hoping to add more cards and puns. But I wish I could make more of other things too! Just not enough time in a day.<br />
<br />
I had a little giveaway on my FB page which went by a bit quicker than I thought! I gave away 2 of the turkey clip cards since I was a bit slow in listing these in my shop and Thanksgiving is already next week. <br />
<br />
Thanks so much for stopping by!<br />

Back today to share another batch of 2018 calendars. I used <a href="http://www.mamaelephantblog.com/" target="_blank">Mama Elephant</a>'s Bear Favor Bag Accessory dies for these calendars. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnG6qWejXIokgkuYmm3K11-ynZX-uOwlqxnbXLSUz-tpj2s3n2Q_j6w4ZDZKa1QmolgGNmrl1mm2l0MJUo7mt5OPC4oXekB8K2OojxNrvQJmYIejiH9bHWMIeirNIiK3LyAPDOXala7Ok/s1600/polarbearDSC00529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="780" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnG6qWejXIokgkuYmm3K11-ynZX-uOwlqxnbXLSUz-tpj2s3n2Q_j6w4ZDZKa1QmolgGNmrl1mm2l0MJUo7mt5OPC4oXekB8K2OojxNrvQJmYIejiH9bHWMIeirNIiK3LyAPDOXala7Ok/s400/polarbearDSC00529.JPG" width="390" /></a></div>
Here is my polar bear which is pretty simple to make. Just using some white cardstock for his head and part of his body. It is hard to image what the tiny dies could be used for so I end up cutting up a bunch of scratch paper and just moving things around until it looks cute! These calendars also have a magnet on the back to stick to your fridge or anything else that is magnetic. They are pretty lightweight and thin.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnneoN5Tg01xGqnLwn83uXmTSJh6it5ispQUnxOrGARgcm42XJwnBkPebiAAbmeBDI8rF7CVwNolvNXLUSR8rgn6Cq6ZR3fQInkvfCjD8yZHYQCxB6nrORuAwXF4HeQgm937yZ-gZDWyI/s1600/pandaDSC00593.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="747" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnneoN5Tg01xGqnLwn83uXmTSJh6it5ispQUnxOrGARgcm42XJwnBkPebiAAbmeBDI8rF7CVwNolvNXLUSR8rgn6Cq6ZR3fQInkvfCjD8yZHYQCxB6nrORuAwXF4HeQgm937yZ-gZDWyI/s400/pandaDSC00593.JPG" width="372" /></a></div>
Here is my panda bear. I didn't know if I wanted to add those cheeks in or not. My kids thought it was cute without them. But I like rosy cheeks!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIe4cf9uo2dq562SF0OmW6QqDi-wJJcDfld5ZVPP3SWxRyd2x8oK2uMdggsuRkNERc-o-fP8ei9jBrvHSOEkX5AzY6NlnPbcmxRUHhl8XJYGatr4w5ydyuVuKaodiv9eRfgiCNjoVt1bs/s1600/fancypandaDSC00556.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="744" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIe4cf9uo2dq562SF0OmW6QqDi-wJJcDfld5ZVPP3SWxRyd2x8oK2uMdggsuRkNERc-o-fP8ei9jBrvHSOEkX5AzY6NlnPbcmxRUHhl8XJYGatr4w5ydyuVuKaodiv9eRfgiCNjoVt1bs/s400/fancypandaDSC00556.JPG" width="371" /></a></div>
Here is my last one which is a variation on the panda and I call him fancy panda because of his mustache and hat. I like him cause he makes me laugh.<br />
<br />
I am very unfocused. Too many projects to finish. I like to imagine that there is a finish line to all this crafting but there really isn't. I will never cross off everything on my crafty to do list. It really is never ending. There is always something new to create and to be inspired by. So maybe I'll always be unfocused.<br />
<br />
So in line with being unfocused, I will be sharing something new the next time I blog, hopefully. I've already put a little glimpse of it on my <a href="https://www.facebook.com/simplymadehawaii/" target="_blank">Simply Made Hawaii facebook page</a>. If you're curious, come like my page. I might do a little giveaway (sorry, for US residents only).<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for reading!<br />

I'm back today to share some cute calendars that I made for 2018. They are mostly cute because of the adorable stamps by <a href="https://mamaelephant.com/" target="_blank">Mama Elephant</a>! I used the Cat Agenda stamps and dies for these. I used their tip of printing out the images and numbering the dies with a Sharpie. It really makes it easier to sort through the dies to find the right one especially since they are so small.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdZV1BcHZrwTBZuuFKR5cVU-sw8FY9EeYAFNNj52a3xcVFaKMGpFN1jTSpRkDLgf4WhGPa48gWxo00W6ATAcO1V43BCpbXipXeM8D-2P104AjmbC4thKP8eK59cBaRTXQZfoGJYJ5pTr0/s1600/catcalDSC00366.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="691" data-original-width="800" height="345" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdZV1BcHZrwTBZuuFKR5cVU-sw8FY9EeYAFNNj52a3xcVFaKMGpFN1jTSpRkDLgf4WhGPa48gWxo00W6ATAcO1V43BCpbXipXeM8D-2P104AjmbC4thKP8eK59cBaRTXQZfoGJYJ5pTr0/s400/catcalDSC00366.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
Here is a group shot of the calendars. I only made one of each type. I tried to find some cute pairs of cats that would go together nicely. I had actually stamped and colored a lot of these cats in the summer and I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do with them. I knew I wanted them on a calendar but not sure about the layout. <br />
<br />

They all measure 4x4 inches and are adhered onto chipboard. The calendars I used are really tiny but fit well with this. The cat paper is from Doodlebug and I had bought it because it was so cute! Good thing because it fits this theme so well.<br />
<br />

The backside has a thin magnetic sheet so these calendars can be used on the fridge.<br />

Close up shots of the little pairs of kitties. Love the kitty images in this set. I also have the Dog Agenda so I'm hoping I can make some dog calendars too since 2018 is the Year of the Dog.<br />
<br />
Well, that is it for now. I have a couple other calendars that I'll share at a later time. Thanks so much for stopping by!<br />

Well, koala is on his way to his new home! I didn't think he'd leave quite as quickly as he did so we'll definitely miss him. Sometimes it's hard to let go of the things you make by hand. I'll try to make another but my list of items to remake is getting longer. Today I'm sharing his friend, brown bear which is also a cute little ornament.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_7AsmTwDrissm3B9mKdV3M0IPjrhKn9ZIlgvtV6EJkRXYzcfDEBCuot_wgollJdPO9H0Z3oQIajfPAJ_iXIZ3YerEHsStQL6JEXZ_B7CT-Nj8cldX_puwtR7em9tmN1Rvy5aeZcTfWHY/s1600/koalaandbearDSC00292.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="608" data-original-width="800" height="303" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_7AsmTwDrissm3B9mKdV3M0IPjrhKn9ZIlgvtV6EJkRXYzcfDEBCuot_wgollJdPO9H0Z3oQIajfPAJ_iXIZ3YerEHsStQL6JEXZ_B7CT-Nj8cldX_puwtR7em9tmN1Rvy5aeZcTfWHY/s400/koalaandbearDSC00292.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
Here's koala and brown bear together. Brown bear is just a bit smaller than koala. He has arms and legs and wears the cutest red sweater. I crocheted him using a pattern from Amy of Little Muggles and the pattern is <a href="http://www.littlemuggles.com/free-patterns-3/little-muggles-baby-bear-ornament/" target="_blank">HERE</a>. I found the Little Muggles site by accident when I was looking for cute ornaments to make. He is really round and cute!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilOpNklUiISp2XEELZj6D9GXivnPZbdcdPh2u7qxbzWKe-zhYbNryg5GbSUuOD2jkXEfqBG_1Ln_DvrAkTA9JeiCN8quloZESAMdHBGvgIhOE7AfE-0BXyzMTZPmJKuHruPw5WZgcmyss/s1600/bearDSC00450.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="789" data-original-width="800" height="393" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilOpNklUiISp2XEELZj6D9GXivnPZbdcdPh2u7qxbzWKe-zhYbNryg5GbSUuOD2jkXEfqBG_1Ln_DvrAkTA9JeiCN8quloZESAMdHBGvgIhOE7AfE-0BXyzMTZPmJKuHruPw5WZgcmyss/s400/bearDSC00450.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
You can prop him up to stand on his legs with some wiggling but he might topple over. He is pretty lightweight. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJMYF4gXqdPkiGLfsnpVHXtq2TEyhXeFp8J0GurU4HVBQiZ2SNf0aaQNrtBk2v8j4wakbFBIoE437oNJifoF3Ak8CvB72m7saLkg6mOS-ud9fRE32Sspyu9_NCl-Q9b62s4fJNVFOcqzc/s1600/bearDSC00458.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="732" data-original-width="800" height="365" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJMYF4gXqdPkiGLfsnpVHXtq2TEyhXeFp8J0GurU4HVBQiZ2SNf0aaQNrtBk2v8j4wakbFBIoE437oNJifoF3Ak8CvB72m7saLkg6mOS-ud9fRE32Sspyu9_NCl-Q9b62s4fJNVFOcqzc/s400/bearDSC00458.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
He also comes with a tag for gift giving. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn and fits pretty perfectly.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

His nose is felt with a little black stitch. The nose and felt inner ears are hot glued on.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

One of the cutest things about him is his red and white sweater! And his little arms! Here's a backside view.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

He has a red ribbon to hang on the tree too. My kids love this guy so much. More so than the koala for some reason so they found it hard to believe that he didn't sell first! I have to tuck away my crocheted pieces so the kids don't handle them too much. Maybe I'll make one for our tree too.<br />
<br />
I also listed a bunch of 2018 calendars last night! I hope the listings make sense. I usually try not to list items at night when I'm tired but wanted to get things crossed off my to do list. I'll share details about each calendar at a later time but you can head to shop for a sneak peek if you're curious.<br />
<br />
Thanks so much for reading!<br />

Today I have a crocheted ornament to share. I crocheted it following Stephanie Lau's pattern which can be found on her All About Ami blog <a href="http://www.allaboutami.com/teddyornamentspattern/" target="_blank">HERE</a>. She has some of the best patterns and her instructions are really clear with lots of photos. It takes a lot of work to design these patterns and then present them in a way that is understandable to someone who may be a beginner. I still consider myself a beginner. Sometimes I'm still looking up instructional videos on the internet because I've forgotten how to make the stitch. <br />

Stephanie has a series of 3 bear ornaments. I started with this koala which my daughter of course had to point out is not really a "bear" but a marsupial. Okay, but he is still called koala <i>bear</i>. Mostly I picked him first because of the pun I wanted to go along with him. I love these puns!<br />

One of the things I love about him is his little scarf with the fringe on the end! It is hot glued on in some areas and also sewn. He is made from Lion Brand's 24/7 cotton yarn.<br />

Here he is in my hand. Sometimes I guess it is hard to gauge the size of these things. I used a 2mm crochet hook to crochet him. I cut out his nose free hand as best I could and then of course used some dies for the white of his eyes and ears. Sometimes it's good that I have a lot of dies!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Here he is hanging from a red ribbon. I looped a bit of black cotton yarn first and then added the ribbon and tag. I have a brown bear that follows a different crochet pattern that I'll share the next time I get a chance to blog. But both the koala and brown bear are listed in my Etsy shop.<br />
<br />
Recently I made 56 calendars as favors for a relative's birthday party. My hubby was a bit surprised that I had most of the supplies to make the favors. The only items we had to buy were the calendars (from Taylored Expressions) and print the photos I wanted to use above the calendars. I had all the chipboard, gold cardstock, washi paper, tape and magnetic sheets to go behind the calendars. See, sometimes it's good that we crafters hoard supplies! <br />
<br />
Thank you so much for stopping by!<br />

I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences. It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts. I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one. It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch. The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found <a href="https://www.1dogwoof.com/snowman-gift-card-holder-crochet-pattern/" target="_blank">HERE</a>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I added this fun card that I stamped. You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTDAEOqdkfnC5DQpr4P_l0v1QJWOIDN8w3sqFz_1oHnpasiH6IPKgnb3XD7dQkeOY32WDqe6m1DD0TkIrcjm2uwQTfk2-Fnbmk2nSwCzeYUyFtJTFkiKK_CgE6u69pk7dJcldL3hJJhgk/s1600/snowmanDSC00061.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="771" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTDAEOqdkfnC5DQpr4P_l0v1QJWOIDN8w3sqFz_1oHnpasiH6IPKgnb3XD7dQkeOY32WDqe6m1DD0TkIrcjm2uwQTfk2-Fnbmk2nSwCzeYUyFtJTFkiKK_CgE6u69pk7dJcldL3hJJhgk/s400/snowmanDSC00061.JPG" width="385" /></a></div>
The gift card reaches under his nose.<br />
<br />

This is how the little opening of the pouch looks. I hope I can make more of these little guys. These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire through the hat and then use it as an ornament on the tree.<br />
<br />
That is it for today. Oh, I forgot something. A comment on my previous post about the reindeer coloring. Yes, I used Copics and I think I used E33, 35, 57 for his body and E35, 57, 59 for antlers and E57, 59 for the hooves. I can't be 100% cause I already forget but those are my go to colors for brown animals! And then also a light blue tracing around the polar bear with just a light colored blue Copic like B00 or something. And rub on pink chalk for the cheeks. Hope that helps.<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by!<br />

</div>
Hi! I've been making a lot of tags lately trying to get ready for Christmas and I am finally done.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvUkBhrk8aQOYJZamVykFLLV2adKl1lQXB-_AU6DNbYEjhKjN6WPwz8kM3ck3fKMpfp3LNFbFGMzlPy44U3cQDx5gsujxue-k0Hzgl0Ftv8ScNPZrI0BF7pt1ly0U6WiWZ7OPeh69dfBY/s1600/reindeerDSC00079.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="777" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvUkBhrk8aQOYJZamVykFLLV2adKl1lQXB-_AU6DNbYEjhKjN6WPwz8kM3ck3fKMpfp3LNFbFGMzlPy44U3cQDx5gsujxue-k0Hzgl0Ftv8ScNPZrI0BF7pt1ly0U6WiWZ7OPeh69dfBY/s400/reindeerDSC00079.JPG" width="387" /></a></div>
These were made with Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. I love this set. It is so cute and funny!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Here is the back of the tags. I think these would be so fun to put on gifts for children. They would think the tags are so funny!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Here are the polar bear tags. I love this polar bear. His expression is so cute!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This is the back of the polar bears.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoZIMcuxISeiGiFPzNq6cUV_jq5mxkIlnoujlUWow-vGn37L5j8PPrtqw6SZgf22MgZpqC09HRKeM1vSe1RO9XahIilI_hNjIO7s7GPrNI22ywfuiBSkcNxrwTBYMqKQmsirp-LGpwRPE/s1600/tagsDSC00016.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="628" data-original-width="800" height="313" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoZIMcuxISeiGiFPzNq6cUV_jq5mxkIlnoujlUWow-vGn37L5j8PPrtqw6SZgf22MgZpqC09HRKeM1vSe1RO9XahIilI_hNjIO7s7GPrNI22ywfuiBSkcNxrwTBYMqKQmsirp-LGpwRPE/s400/tagsDSC00016.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I also made more of the tags I had made last year. So these are all listed in my shop now. I tried to make a lot at one time because I'm not sure if I'll be making more of these designs this year. I want to make some newer ones with some of my dies that I have not used yet! Trying so hard to not buy more than I can use. Although sometimes that is so difficult! I was really good in September and did not buy any new Mama Elephant or the cute Bitty Bears from Birdie Brown. I had such restraint but who knows how long that will last this month! <br />
<br />
Thank you so much for stopping by!<br />

I just finished up this cute baby bat amigurumi. I made it following a pattern I purchased <a href="https://www.etsy.com/transaction/1318787826" target="_blank">HERE</a>. My bat turned out a bit smaller because I used a smaller crochet hook and my yarn is a bit thinner.<br />

Here he is hanging on my finger. My finger looks really short here. I guess I really do have short little fingers. He is a cute project to make for Halloween.<br />
<br />
Lately I have been multicrafting (like multitasking but just for craft projects). Can I trademark that term, multicrafting? No one steal that, please. I think it has helped me get more done. I have set up different areas for different tasks. I have a stamping/coloring area, diecutting area and crocheting area. I used to try to finish one project at a time but I realized my attention is too short, and I would get bored or tired of my current project but couldn't go on to another one cause I felt I had to finish what was in front of me first. So usually I would just let that project sit on my craft table forever. Now I can move from one project to another and not pressure myself to finish before starting another project.<br />
<br />
Today, I plan to finish up more Christmas tags and start on another crochet project.<br />
<br />
Thank so much for stopping by!<br />

<br /></div>
Hi! Well I know I said I'd only be entering one time but I did end up making one more card for the <a href="https://www.mftstamps.com/blog/you-could-be-a-2017-card-design-superstar/" target="_blank">Innovation category of MFT's Challenge</a>. I had wanted to do something with magnets because my kids have these tiny magnets in their bead box. I think they are for making bracelets so I grabbed couple of them. I wasn't sure what I was making but then thought of something the other night. These magnets are oval in shape and they have a hole in the middle to thread string, I think.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzfzqglusOuet_RfpnjX_wZ66xO5S9XlOMubCBODYhK21FhanPcLEs1wjhkcl-LVW9EzqNvTzM5Z8JB4ZsrwMGUjBOyq82UQzc4NB2BKn2TCtMMQtSV-vApWwzphxWizB1sdpkv7nmgxQ/s1600/hedgehogDSC09880.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="709" data-original-width="800" height="353" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzfzqglusOuet_RfpnjX_wZ66xO5S9XlOMubCBODYhK21FhanPcLEs1wjhkcl-LVW9EzqNvTzM5Z8JB4ZsrwMGUjBOyq82UQzc4NB2BKn2TCtMMQtSV-vApWwzphxWizB1sdpkv7nmgxQ/s400/hedgehogDSC09880.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
This is the card I made featuring Birdie Brown's Happy Hedgehogs. Love, love, love Birdie Brown's images and cards! I did some masking with the larger hedgehog to sit on the log which I also lengthened. I used the stitched border background again from Blueprints 25. The yellow sun is cut from the Stitched Arched dies and I blended with distress oxide.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhygGxtrrA58HGI2rGokJ8oHExK_Yqeo5pHDNtYnCcHre5sLpbSL5tpPqfVA0-OZNcJsOcG4xzLjee4oxgwNmIVkqkTuMiroUejhADxJS_pszKZkO3RLlyGMBsd9wLFKwmA_-zih_fSN8k/s1600/hedgehogDSC09893.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="632" data-original-width="800" height="315" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhygGxtrrA58HGI2rGokJ8oHExK_Yqeo5pHDNtYnCcHre5sLpbSL5tpPqfVA0-OZNcJsOcG4xzLjee4oxgwNmIVkqkTuMiroUejhADxJS_pszKZkO3RLlyGMBsd9wLFKwmA_-zih_fSN8k/s400/hedgehogDSC09893.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
Also used the mini cloud stencil to blend in the background using distress oxide. Under the log I used the skinniest fishtail flag die to create an opening. I wanted to create some movement but not show all the openings.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEji7ApR5Y-JCpJRyTpK3Ij34l9C_kTFxOBz7P7bDoU9mPa5vX8UhmClM7pzOFVrp2pyOhyphenhyphenPnQ3A3p4zEfdin_rzo0XwMTb1LGeK9iUUgUHOzLH7uSLkcO9JvGHNUjuzJQKjL2BPdeYjIqc/s1600/hedgehogDSC09888.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="784" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEji7ApR5Y-JCpJRyTpK3Ij34l9C_kTFxOBz7P7bDoU9mPa5vX8UhmClM7pzOFVrp2pyOhyphenhyphenPnQ3A3p4zEfdin_rzo0XwMTb1LGeK9iUUgUHOzLH7uSLkcO9JvGHNUjuzJQKjL2BPdeYjIqc/s400/hedgehogDSC09888.JPG" width="391" /></a></div>
Here's a close up of them sitting apart. You might notice something sticking out from under the yellow sun.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwM0LSsgXHba0ttbHxnzXvTWExCkMOMze-rInoroM9tE5GamsbAWJtPwWDKK7ENEwr5TdYDPbhaVsuGfKEYwfdsFqsMxTSqfkiZEIQ0a4C41C4jOe7zyHSLMFmJvjlB_PgwUHBDk1fSCQ/s1600/hedgehogDSC09901.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="681" data-original-width="800" height="340" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwM0LSsgXHba0ttbHxnzXvTWExCkMOMze-rInoroM9tE5GamsbAWJtPwWDKK7ENEwr5TdYDPbhaVsuGfKEYwfdsFqsMxTSqfkiZEIQ0a4C41C4jOe7zyHSLMFmJvjlB_PgwUHBDk1fSCQ/s400/hedgehogDSC09901.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
When you pull on the tab, the smaller hedgehog slides over and clicks to the larger one because I used the magnets underneath them. The magnet under the large hedgehog is stationary and I tied some thin fishing line to the other magnet under the smaller hedgehog through the hole that it had. The sentiment is also stamped onto the tag which is from MFT as well. The tiny diecut on the tag is from Tag Builders Blueprints 5.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgON7ZI4uUCCITrT5M19whyphenhyphenXUSmuF_3T-z_GIDIrz8k8D3dxaxHuAmhzhWDYW2CiERIvR6SXhikdlHn5PstkQi2difGrr-tts_g3xRewisBLsdCeG5kFYFG2LBYQXZbqaildaPkU4TPMNw/s1600/hedgehogDSC09911.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="756" data-original-width="800" height="377" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgON7ZI4uUCCITrT5M19whyphenhyphenXUSmuF_3T-z_GIDIrz8k8D3dxaxHuAmhzhWDYW2CiERIvR6SXhikdlHn5PstkQi2difGrr-tts_g3xRewisBLsdCeG5kFYFG2LBYQXZbqaildaPkU4TPMNw/s400/hedgehogDSC09911.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
They're so cute together! You can slide the tag back under and slide the smaller guy back to the right.<br />

This is under all the cute stuff! Three layers of dimensional tape! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I made a short little video using my phone. I had to hold my phone in one hand and pull the tab. <br />
<br />
That is definitely it for me. Thanks so much for stopping by!<br />

Hello! So I probably do this often. Like think about joining in on a challenge but actually not do anything until the last minute. I spent almost the whole day yesterday coloring up the images and thinking about the layout for a Clean and Simple Card. What a misnomer! CAS cards are sometimes not that simple and if you saw my crafting area, it's not very clean either. But finally done today to enter my card into <a href="https://www.mftstamps.com/blog/you-could-be-a-2017-card-design-superstar/" target="_blank">My Favorite Things Card Design Challenge</a>. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirAdkY4W21opB3f37m4dspxh_KqaT0HdrFKyZbVkx6IAMClkPnyyBNqRipnbFPjv555W-v_cYwzTSG2_Sg2Bhtx5euU-IeXPGPb3nAihb2XWWEe1Lft2Mxe_nbR2l-ReRPrmkMyz6jdHI/s1600/koalaDSC09831.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="776" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirAdkY4W21opB3f37m4dspxh_KqaT0HdrFKyZbVkx6IAMClkPnyyBNqRipnbFPjv555W-v_cYwzTSG2_Sg2Bhtx5euU-IeXPGPb3nAihb2XWWEe1Lft2Mxe_nbR2l-ReRPrmkMyz6jdHI/s400/koalaDSC09831.JPG" width="387" /></a></div>
I made a baby girl card using MFT's Cuddly Koalas. I stamped the koala image, colored with Copics and fussy cut them out. Now that I have old eyes, it's hard to color in the tiny details and even cutting is getting difficult. Why do our eyes have to get old too?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxf546ClNFOFQqaB6z4-4uTKmOeLCdhdMDC4NG4Ok8vIf1ChkMe27XgOiUVbhkFvvEIyjvf_n58IWHdNhcga-2OEvtcYqHVGJIn0OBS5nRXnyD8h_imYjLr8vz2ILNFioQ3HOcmN2Mvc4/s1600/koalaDSC09856.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="739" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxf546ClNFOFQqaB6z4-4uTKmOeLCdhdMDC4NG4Ok8vIf1ChkMe27XgOiUVbhkFvvEIyjvf_n58IWHdNhcga-2OEvtcYqHVGJIn0OBS5nRXnyD8h_imYjLr8vz2ILNFioQ3HOcmN2Mvc4/s400/koalaDSC09856.JPG" width="368" /></a></div>
I used MFT's Blueprints 25 for the stitched background which is the perfect size of an A2 card. Love it! I used watercolor cardstock for the background because I love how the texture looks when blending. I stamped the tree image right onto the watercolor cardstock and colored with Copics and after used some colored pencils for more details. I had a difficult time deciding if I wanted to curve the sentiment on this card or use it straight. But decided I wanted a different look so went with the curve. I used distress oxide in worn lipstick for the background and sentiment. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrRbMXrqtwIAk0ZO-g56pyOjEtI-o8rwvZqqmWRrW5DrzVveVOqZkjbtGaRBzCh759KH-Z1koC2NRuRMNEfLk6SY2904t66n9_hiLnupB-xNXDTnoxwywj4eMwbu8Xn02-1hv8DMm4qbY/s1600/koalaDSC09846.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="766" data-original-width="800" height="306" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrRbMXrqtwIAk0ZO-g56pyOjEtI-o8rwvZqqmWRrW5DrzVveVOqZkjbtGaRBzCh759KH-Z1koC2NRuRMNEfLk6SY2904t66n9_hiLnupB-xNXDTnoxwywj4eMwbu8Xn02-1hv8DMm4qbY/s320/koalaDSC09846.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Here's a close up of the image. I did also fussy cut that branch (in mama koala's hand) out and the small leaves that are falling down! I masked the larger branch when I blended the pink background but there was no way I was gonna do that for all the leaves! So pretty much I just lightly blended over the colored green leaves and some of the thinner branches. Still looks okay to me!<br />
<br />
Maybe next year I'll be on it and enter more than one category but I think that's it for me this year. Thanks so much for reading and visiting today! <br />
