Hello!  Today is the last day of previews for Sister Stamps Release #23 and the three stamps will be available June 1st.  While I love Momotaro and the Sakura Set, I think Sakura-chan is my favorite in this release.    Isn't Sakura-chan so adorable?  I love her little pig tails.  And I finally used my gelatos for the background.  I saw a tutorial on how to create this matted, ombre look HERE .  I used pinks and purple and a bit of gold gelatos.  I heat embossed the sentiment from PTI and a couple of the smaller flowers from the Sakura Set in gold.  I also added some pink and cream colored sakuras as well. Hello again!  Welcome back to the second day of Sister Stamps previews.  I have another CAS card to share today.  I love how this one turned out too! This sweet little guy is Momotaro!  Isn't he super adorable?  I chose to make him bald but you could color in a full head of hair.  Hmm, do you notice something else on my card?  I sewed a simple border around the blue!  Yeah, I am loving the sewing thing.  The sentiment is from CC Designs and the sequins from Lawn Fawn. Hello!  Can you believe it's almost June?  I can't believe that school is over and it's summer already.  But at least that makes the next Sister Stamps release come that much quicker.  The stamps from Release #23 are so adorable!  I love these cute little babies and how pretty are the flowers? I needed a thank you card so I thought this Sakura Set would be perfect.  I had kind of an idea of just making a CAS card but it took me more than one try!  I wanted to heat emboss or use my gelatos but in the end I just did a little bit of masking and colored in the flowers with Copics.  And I love how it turned out.  The sentiment is from PTI and is heat embossed in gold so I did get that to fit somewhere onto this card. Hi everyone!  Yay!  Sister Stamps previews will be starting soon!  Did you see how cute the stamps are for the June release?  I'll be back later to share my Sister Stamps creations. Today, I have some cards to share that I made for the teachers.  These are all very simple since I made about 12.  Then I realized that I usually don't make special school themed cards.  Most of the time I give the cards I've been making through out the year.  Otherwise my stash of cards is just out of control. See, simple right?  I used MFT's apple die and cut the apples with some red felt.  The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. Hi everyone!  Wow, I can't believe I haven't blogged for the month of May yet!  Now that I have less DT commitments I have been trying other crafts, mostly sewing!  My hubby actually pulled my 10 year old sewing machine out from under my desk and cleaned it up and even learned how to thread it to teach me how to use it.  And then I was excited to make these ribbon key fobs that I've been seeing a lot.  I ordered some supplies through Etsy and decided to make a whole bunch for the kids in my 2 boys' classes.  But besides all these keychains I've also been planning parties for my boys' classes and helping with lei making for May Day.  It's been a busy month of May.  Just a few more days of school until summer.
