Hello Kitty sticker book

Hi everyone!  It is so humid here that I get all sweaty just washing the dishes!  I hope that counts as some kind of exercise. I've switched gears back to paper crafting and put my sewing on the side for a bit.  I wanted to make something fun and it was inspired by some sticker shopping.  I bought these cute stickers and instead of just mailing them to my friend's daughter, I thought it'd be cute to make a sticker book too.  Plus I had this idea of using clear contact paper on the pages so the stickers would be removable.  I bought the roll of contact paper for the Pokemon wrappers that I had sewed up.  Such an economical roll of contact paper!  I think I can still make a lot of projects. Here is the cover of the book.  I used my Sizzix Hello Kitty die for the cover.  I had this one sheet of HK paper for a while too so finally I was able to use it.  I covered this page with contact paper as well just to kind of protect it a bi...

Oliver's Summer Vacation

Hi!  This is my last traveling summer journal.  I made this for my older son.  He loves this TGF stamp of Oliver holding the dinos because he loves dinos too.  I used the sketch over at TGF's Farm Fresh Challenge Which One Wednesday for the cover of his journal. I had specific instructions from my son to color Oliver's dinos just like his.  So I used my son's toy dinos as inspiration. See?  My son and his dinos. Here's the title page.  Similar to the one I made for my daughter.  I used some fun green binding instead of silver though.  I also used this Oliver stamp to make a bookmark for my younger son.  And he wanted to copy his brother so pretty much used all the same colors to color Oliver and the dinos. The bookmark in action.  He had been asking for a bookmark to copy his older siblings. The days seem to be flying by.  I can't believe the school year is almost over and I haven't done everything yet.  Tim...

Fancy Anya's Summer Vacation

Hi!  Here is yet another travel journal that I've bound with my Cinch.  This one is for my daughter.  She picked TGF's Fancy Anya which I just bought.  She is just like my daughter who would rather wear a dress or skirt to do everything including traveling.  I decided to case TGF's Mystery Monday card for the cover of this journal. I didn't want to make the cover too dimensional since we'll be taking it during our summer vacation so I tried to keep the cover as flat as possible and used some tape to add some fun. Here's a close-up of Fancy Anya with her little camera ready to take some pictures.  I also used PTI's note die and Text Style stamp for the background lettering behind Fancy Anya. This is the title page.  I got to use a lot of my American Crafts stickers that I bought a while back from Peachy Cheap.  The camera is a coordinating stamp with the papers. One of the inside pockets with a little scooter stamp too.  I added some ...

TGF Coloring Books

Hi!  I used my Cinch again to bind some small coloring books.  I had some leftover paper after cutting them for my larger 6x6 journals.  I thought the small scraps were a good size for small hands. This one uses TGF's Surfer Anya.  She is so cute! Here's one with Surfer Ian.  These books measure 2.5x5.5 inches. The cute couple together. There are 25 stamped pages in each book.  This shows me that I have way too many stamps.  I'm planning to let my youngest color in these when we're on the plane.  Hopefully, he'll just sleep and give me a break.  I better get going on lots of projects.  It's almost the end of the school year here! Thanks for reading!

My Summer Vacation

Hi!  We're traveling this summer vacation so I thought I'd make a travel journal for the kids.  I thought it would be nice for the kids to write or draw in it and maybe even paste pictures and store some souvenirs from the trip.  It'll be their first little scrapbook.  I used the Which One Wednesday sketch over at TGF Farm Fresh Challenge for the cover of my project. So I broke my rule of no new stamps and bought this Surfer Ian and also Surfer Anya cause now that there is a boy and girl you have to have both right?  And I bought them online over at Little Craft House .  It was probably one of the fastest orders I've ever received.  I ordered them on a Tuesday and then got them that same week on Saturday so I got to use them right away. Here's the title page.  I thought the kids could write in their own names.  I made some pockets too so they could store some papers or photos or something. The back cover is chipboard but the front ...
