Happy Halloween!

Hello!  Okay, I'm a little late wishing you all a Happy Halloween.  But this past week was kind of busy with posting and then Halloween is busy with trick or treating.  Our kids had fun though they also got soda this year which I thought was interesting and definitely a first.  I ended up carrying 3 cans of soda trying not to shake them too much!

Anyway, I had a Make It Monday post over at the CC Designs blog that I didn't get to mention on here.

I made these fun little Halloween characters.  If you're interested, you can check out the short how to from the link above.

Here are a couple Christmas ones.  My youngest asked me to make a turkey for Thanksgiving using these little boxes.  I'm gonna have to to give that some thought.

I made a few for my kids' teachers too.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
