CC Designs Sister Stamps Review

Hello!  Ha, I think I spoke too soon when I said previously that another post was my last CC Designs post.  This post is seriously my last one!  Today is CC Designs review of Sister Stamps . This is a wooden frame from Walmart that I painted the edges with gesso and then covered with washi paper.  I added some small pearl beading around the heart and kept that open for a photo. Here is the cute Sister Stamps Wedding couple. This is a close up of the gold embossed sentiment from CC Designs Wedding Labels .  Please check out the CC Designs blog for Laura's Sister Stamps creation too! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Easter Treats!

Hello!  I had to finish these Easter treats for my youngest one's class a bit earlier since the boys have an extra day off this week.  It's a 4 day weekend for them.  I kept holding off on making these treats cause I thought I had a lot of time since Easter seems late this year but I forgot to take into account the holidays. Anyway, I really like these sack-it dies from Taylored Expressions.  I discovered the Xmas ones too late but was just on time for the Easter ones.  Here is the little Easter chick.  So cute, right?  I fit 2 fruit roll ups in each of these. A bunch of them all together.  Here's the bunny.  This one is pretty time consuming to make because of all the die cutting and layering.  It went faster after doubling up the thinner cardstock to make multiple cuts in one pass through my Big Shot. All the bunnies together.  I made 21 Easter treats total.  I think these are so fun for the kids. Thanks ...

Graduation Lei Tags

Hi again!  This is the last project I made with Sister Stamps Graduate.  In Hawaii, we give leis for a lot of special occasions especially graduation.  But it's hard to remember who gave you which lei especially if it's a handmade yarn lei or candy lei.  So I like to put tags on the leis. So here are some simple tags that can be tied onto leis.  I made 3 different colors to match whatever school's colors.  These tags and sentiments are from Lawn Fawn.  I did a little bit of masking so the image would just be in the inside of the tag and not extend to the outside border.  But these are fast to make since there is no coloring involved. That's it for my Graduate projects.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sister Stamps Release #22 is available today!

Hi!  Today is release day!  Go out and get your new Sister Stamps !  Graduation is right around the corner!  I mentioned earlier that I made a few projects with the Graduate stamp from Sister Stamp s Release #22.  When I saw the image I had a whole bunch of ideas for graduation.  One of them was a money envelope. This is the first one I made.  The sentiment is from Hanko Designs.  Papers are from Doodlebug. This is the back and I left an area blank for names and what not. I added a couple of velcro circles for easy opening and closing. While I liked the first one that I made, I thought it was a bit busy and maybe time consuming if you had to make one for tons of friends.  So here's a simpler one.  I guess this one would be perfect for UH graduation. This is the back of it.  Now I'm off to finish up some Easter goodies.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sister Stamps Release #22 -- Wedding

Hello!  Back again today to share more from Sister Stamps Release #22!  The last stamp in this release is called Wedding and it features a couple wearing traditional Japanese wedding attire.  So pretty and cute and so fast to color up cause mostly I left the bride's kimono white.  I don't know, do they do other colors? Here is my card featuring this cute couple.  I used some washi paper with cranes and tore it in a diagonal.  I also used this pretty Asian looking embossing folder for the other half in white.  Then I finally was able to purchase the heart banner die from La-La Land Crafts and added that too.  Love that die.  A simple wedding card. Here's a close up of the happy couple. And I also made another box with La-La Land's trinket box.  Yeah, I know, I've been making a lot of these boxes which is why I made a card too.  Didn't want to bore you with another box!  I used the same elements on this box too. ...

Sister Stamps Release #22 -- Graduate

Hi!  It's Sister Stamps Release #22!  Aren't these two stamps the cutest!  Jenny's been doing her usual introductions so hope you've been checking out the Sister Stamps blog .  I was really excited to see the Graduate stamp.  I don't know why since I don't know any one graduating any time soon.  But I ended up making a lot of different projects with that stamp.  So I'll share them over the next few days. This is the first card I made.  I don't know what are popular high school colors.  I went with blue and yellow.  I used PTI alphabet dies for the gold sentiment and also PTI's Congrats All Ways for the bottom sentiment. Then I thought of this card and used the year.  The numbers were made with CC Cutters Numbers die.  The sentiment here is from Lawn Fawn.  I guess I'll have to find someone to give this card to this year since it's dated!  Hopefully it'll match the school colors too. Please be sure to che...

CC Designs Birthday Blog Hop Winner & April Review -- Meoples!

Hello!  Before I share my CC Designs April Review project, I want to announce the winner of the $7 gift certificate from my blog.  The random winner is ...  Creations by Shirl!!! Yay!  Shirl, please email Christine at christine@ccdesignsrubberstamps.com with Blog Hop Winner in the subject line.   Here is a set of birthday tags I made with the Meoples HB2U .  The small sentiment is from AmyR Great Birthday Greetings . Here is a closer view of the girls.  I thought it would be good to have some of these birthday tags handy when my kids' classmates have parties.  I'm always looking for some kind of card or tag that would be appropriate.  You would think I'd have lots of leftover cards but sometimes I have a hard time parting with them! Here is a closer view of the other 2 tags.  All papers are from Doodlebug. Before I go, I wanted to let you all know that this will be my last CC Designs post as I've decided to...

Hello Kitty Boxes

Hello!  Happy Monday!  Can't believe there are only 2 more months of school left and it'll be summer soon.  This year is really flying by and my kids are growing so fast!  Wish everything could slow down a bit.  In between some DT projects, I've been trying to make some Hello Kitty boxes. This is the first box I made using La-La Land's Trinket Box Kit .  I love these little boxes and it does take some time to put everything together but so worth it in the end.  This Hello Kitty is from an older Sizzix die and it's all pieced together with some crushed velvet cardstock.  Sorry if the photo seems a bit bright.  All that gold cardstock seems to throw the color off. Here is a different angle to show the layering of Hello Kitty's heart and arm. This is the inside.  I used some washi paper I purchased online from Hanko Designs .  These are so pretty! Here's another box using a different Hello Kitty die but same idea. T...
