amigurumi bear

Hi!  So during my slug out time I was mostly cruising the internet looking for cute stamps.  And I finally made it over to Torico's blog and her Birdie Brown digi stamps .  And she has some cute stamps over at There She Goes too.  So much cuteness!  Torico has a free digi this month called Amigurumi Bear.  So I grabbed it and made a card to enter in her January Freebie Challenge .  Cute bear, huh?  The sentiment is from Wild Rose Studio. A little close up. I also used the deconstructed sketch #84 .  Yeah, I kind of made this card a little while ago but just now getting to post it. Thanks so much for reading!

All That Scraps January Review

Hello!  It is review day of Sweet November stamps over at All That Scraps !  I made a very simple card using the bunny from Forest Pals.  The sentiment is from Welcome Little One and is heat embossed in white.  I just wrapped some twine, added a heart button and the cute diaper pin from the Baby Accessories die.  Then rounded the bottom corners of my card.  Nothing too fancy tonight. Please head over to the ATS blog to see more cute Sweet November creations and all of these stamps and dies are available in the store ! Thanks for reading!

you're special

Hello!  Hey, another post!  I was gonna wait to post this but I love this little stamp from The Greeting Farm .  Her name is Gracie and she's so adorable.  Love her hat and the flower and her cute face and braids and everything!  She is definitely my favorite from this month's release. I used my rectangle dies to frame her.  Also used My Favorite Things dies for the rolled up rose and leaves that I cut from felt.  I realize I have too many dies.  Too many to keep track of.  I haven't used these flower dies in so long!  That should be part of my crafting resolution -- to use my dies and the rest of my supplies!  Oh, I forgot to mention that the sentiment is from Paper Smooches and it's heat embossed.  I really like heat embossing in white.  Here's a little close up.  I paper pieced her hat using paper from Doodlebug.  I actually have ordered another one of these pads.  Even though they are Valentine's...

All That Scraps Make it Monday

Hello!  I know I haven't been posting much lately.  Just thought I'd take a little break from crafting to slug out.  But I have made a few cards this weekend so I'll share them over the next few days. Today I have a tutorial posted over at All That Scraps .  Please head over there to check it out. It'll probably look familiar since I have made a few of these before. Thanks so much for stopping by!

All That Scraps January Review

Hello!  Today is a review day of CC Design stamps over at All That Scraps .  I had a hard time deciding which image to choose for today's post.  So of course I picked one of the Meoples. This cutie is one of 3 images from the Lucky Rainbow set.  The sentiment is from Lucky Sentiments.  These images are pretty versatile even for non-St. Patrick Day's cards.  I like that the sentiments aren't only for St. Patrick's Day either.  It makes a great friend card!  The horseshoe is a die from the Lucky Charms set.  And for all you local Hawaii pidgin speakers, it does not say U Lucky to be my friend as my hubby had to say it.  Man, after that I kept thinking if I should change the horseshoe around. A close up.  She's so smile-y. Check out the ATS blog for more cute inspiration! I am trying to get back into the routine of things with the kids going back to school.  I have a little bit more time and because there aren't new e...

Meoples Gift Card Holder

Hello!  I've been meaning to post this.  I made a gift card holder for my kids' Sunday school teacher for Christmas and thought the Meoples' Nativity set would be perfect.  I used the digi set but there is also a rubber stamp set.  These are so cute as are all the Meoples! This is the front.  It looks like a regular card with ribbon tied around to keep it closed.  The sentiments also come in the set.  The angel is so sweet! This is the inside.  I folded up a portion of the cardstock to create a little pocket to hold 2 cards.  Aren't these Meoples adorable?  It has been so cold and windy here!  I think we are being blown away!  Thanks for reading!

Yumi and Fumi Handmade Crafts Challenge #9

Hello!  We have a new challenge over at Yumi and Fumi Handmade Crafts using a pretty photo for inspiration.  You can use whatever inspires you about this photo.  Just be sure to use an image from Yumi and Fumi, The Greeting Farm, Sister Stamps or La-la Land Crafts. I decided to use the the colors and the banner from the photo.  The image is Yumi with Book .  I am already working on end of the year gifts for teachers!  My daughter likes this one so she can give it to one of her teachers.  The banner die cuts are from CC Designs. Here's a close up.  This is the inside of the card.  I rarely ever decorate the inside.  I recently got these gift card holder dies (the vertical and horizontal ones) and the coordinating sentiments from My Favorite Things when they were having their sale.   Here is the photo inspiration.  Don't you love these colors? Please head over to Yumi and Fumi Handmade Crafts to se...

All That Scraps January Preview

Hello again!  It's a gloomy, rainy morning today.  My daughter went back to school today and my boys will tomorrow.  So no more hanging out in my PJs all day and it's back to fixing my hair all decent.  It was so nice just to veg for a few days.  Not fun to be in the rain though.  It was so sunny the past few days up until New Year's Day. This is the last day of previews for All That Scraps January release .  I love all the baby images.  Today is a preview of Webbies Words. I made another set of notecards to feature the sentiments that come in Webbies Words Baby Cakes.  The sentiments go along so nicely with these images called Baby Burps.  And yes, they are baby Meoples!  Is there anything cuter?! Here is a girly version. A boyish one.  I love this one!  The sentiment comes all in one but I selectively stamped them so that it would fit better on my small card. And here's one for those that like to...

All That Scraps January Preview

Hello!  Happy 2013!!  Our kids actually almost made it til midnight!  They lasted til 11:30 and then couldn't stay up any longer.  I was already in bed.  Hehe. Today is All That Scraps January Preview of Sweet November Stamps .  Before I show you my project, I just wanted to say that I love these new stamps.  They are so adorable!! You may have to click the photo to enlarge it to see the details.  I made a simple set of baby note cards.  We know 3 ladies giving birth this year and they are all having boys!  This set of animals is called Safari Pals.  I just stamped them in blue ink and added a sentiment from Welcome Little One.  I added some tiny blue bows too. This set uses Forest pals.  Aren't they super cute too? I boxed them all up with matching cream colored envelopes.  The bottom of the box is cream as well and the top is clear.  I added cream and blue ribbon.  The little rattle is a ...
