Sister Stamps Release #21 -- Kimie, Jade & Moon

Hello!  Back with my last project showcasing Sister Stamps Release #21 .  I made another project using all 3 images.  I think the images work so well together that sometimes it's hard to just focus on one.  They all look so cute together!  So this is a bit different for me.  But I had this empty metal cookie container and it was so nice that I couldn't just throw it away.  I washed it out and wondered what I would do with it.  I liked that is was metal meaning magnets would stick on it and I recently got these cute magnets from Jenny that I wanted to display on here.  Sorry, did not photo the magnets actually on here.  They are totally cute though!  And I love looking at them.  Anyway, I had my hubby use some white metal primer to paint the can a couple of coats so that when I wrapped the thin washi paper around it, the bright words wouldn't show through.  Glad he likes to do stuff like that so I can keep my hands ...

Sister Stamps Release #21 -- Jade, Moon & Kimie

Hello!  Welcome back to another day of previews for Sister Stamps Release #21 !  I have another Easter project to share.  Being on a DT is great.  Especially Sister Stamps.  Not only do you get cute images to play around with but you can prepare goodies to give away way ahead of time.  Every year we give out Easter goodies to our cousins' kids so I thought I'd make some cute tags to tie onto the bags. Here are the tags I made for the girls featuring Kimie.  Isn't she cute?  I love those little bunnies that Kimie is playing with.  I thought I'd try coloring her hair with some parts instead of a giant block of hair.  Hope it looks okay.  And I love the bunny washi paper.  These tags are MFT dies that have the pierced border.  I used CC Cutters grass border die and the four seasons fence die.  The names were cut using PTI's alphabet die and I used glittery purple cardstock.  I like this glittery cardstoc...

Sister Stamps Release #21 -- Jade & Moon

Hello everyone!  This was definitely a fast month!  It's already time for Sister Stamps release #21 previews.  Have you been checking out Jenny's introductory posts ?  Not only does she share some awesome and inspirational projects but she also gives you chances to win some of these new stamps.  All you have to do is answer her questions!  That's not too hard. Okay, so when I first saw the names of the bunnies, I did think of Jade Moon, a former local news anchor and I was waiting for some kind of explanation.  The bunnies are NOT named after her.  You'll have to read Jenny's post .  Well, these bunnies are totally cute, right?  I love Jade, she seems so roll-y poll-y.  And Moon looks so rascally.  They seem like good friends so it was hard not to include more than one bunny on my projects. Here is a simple Easter card using both Jade and Moon.  Jenny sent me these Easter sentiment cut outs a while ago.  I li...

A Random Fan Blog Hop!!!

Hello!  CC Designs is introducing rubber versions of A Random Fan stamps.  To celebrate and introduce these cute stamps, we're having A Random Fan Blog Hop! If you arrived here from Bettina's blog , you're in the right spot.  If not, you may want to start from the beginning at A Random Fan . I made a couple of projects to share today.  This one features Little Miss Sassy.  Isn't she adorable and sassy?  I colored her braid in pink to make her just a bit sassier.  The sentiment is from CC Designs Bubble Word Sentiments . I also made a set of corner bookmarks for my 2 boys whose birthdays will fall in the summer.  I know I am early but this image called Underwear Hero is too funny and really cute.  Plus I am pretty sure I have pictures of them with their underwear on their heads.  Maybe all boys do that? A close up of the Underwear Hero and his cute puppy. Next on the hop is Paula . Hope you will check out these cute A ...

Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone!  Happy Valentine's Day!  The boys have the day off today but my daughter doesn't.  I really love days when I don't have to do my hair!  Those days are so few and far in between.  I thought today I could just sit around drinking coffee and not worry about getting all presentable until I realized oh, gotta get my daughter from school and then take her to her after school activity.  Shucks!  Gotta go blow dry my hair and get out of my pjs! Anyway, just wanted to share the birthday card I made for Renate' .  The DT girls over at Yumi and Fumi had an awesome celebration for her.  Check out all of the posts !  This is the front of my card with Summer Yumi.  The bow is mostly there to keep the card closed and look pretty at the same time. The card opens up like so.  In the middle is Lawn Fawn's banner and sentiment.  I used the banner die to cut it out as well.  On the far right is Summer Fumi.  ...

CC Designs February Review -- Olivia

Hello!  Gosh, I think I complain about the weather too much.  I'm so happy it's been a lot clearer lately and no rain but geez, it's hot now.  Haha.  A nice breeze every so often would make it perfect. Today is a review day for CC Designs February release.  Here is one of the newest CC Designs characters, Olivia.  This image is Olivia's Happy Day .  The sentiment is from Rainy Day Sentiments .  I used the negative cut out from the Lil Inkers stitched circles that I had leftover from my previous card.  Isn't it cool that it also leaves the stitched look on the negative cut as well?  I embossed that with the floral embossing folder.  I actually added flowers from my stash too. Be sure to check out the CC Designs blog for more creations! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Valentine's Day Treats

CC Designs February Preview -- Roberto's Rascals

Hello again!  Boy the weather here is so gloomy again.  We actually haven't had many days of sunshine the past couple of weeks.  I feel sorry for tourists who are visiting now only to wake up to rain every morning.  It's supposed to rain this whole week! Today is another day of previews at CC Designs with a focus on Roberto's Rascals. This is bright card featuring Roberto's Rascals Duckies.  The sentiment is part of the new Rainy Day Sentiments.  I actually redid this card because I didn't like how the first one turned out.  But since these duckies are small it didn't take too long to make another one. Here's a close up of the duckies.  Aren't they cute? Please head over to the CC Designs blog to check out more Roberto's Rascals. Thanks so much for stopping by!

CC Designs February Previews

Hello!  Here we are with previews for CC Designs February release.  I can't believe it is February already!  These stamps will be available on the 6th.  I colored up this cutie called Olivia's Happy Day.  The sentiment from Rainy Day sentiments will also be available on the 6th.  The hearts are from CC Designs.  I used this adorable paper from Doodlebug.  Love the hearts hanging from the clouds.  I haven't used this scalloped ribbon for a while so glad I could fit it in.  But I'm most happy to finally have the stitched circles from Lil Inkers.  Love them! Here is a close up of the image and the stitched circle.  It adds such a nice and subtle touch to the whole card. There will be a couple more days of previews on the CC Designs blog but I'll be back on Wednesday. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sister Stamps Release #20 is today!

Hello!  The latest Sister Stamps are out!  There is a list of stores that sell them on the Sister Stamps blog sidebar. Typically, the DT doesn't create anything for release day but because we had a break and I was kind of crazy feeling, I made some calendars.  So you're thinking, oh boy, more calendars but these are different, people.  Remember when I said, or wrote, that I should start making 2015 calendars?  Well, I did!  I bet a whole bunch of you thought I wouldn't but I made five 2015 calendars!  Three of them use the new Sister Stamps girls and the other two have the ever popular and loveable Hello Kitty. This is the first one I made using a calendar I found on the internet and features Misaki.  It measures 5.5 by 8.5 inches and is on heavy chipboard.  It is pretty sturdy and should last the whole year.  There is some ribbon on the back to hang up somewhere. Then I realized, hey I should make my own 2015 calenda...
