Sister Stamps Release #16 -- Octopus Set

Hi!  It's the last day before these Sister Stamps cuties will be available for purchase.  All of these little sea creatures are so adorable, I can't even pick a favorite.  Every time I think the turtles are my favorite but then those dolphins are pretty darn cute too and the octopus is so squishable. Ever since I made a door hanger for my daughter, my boys have been wanting one too.  Since they share a room I only had to make one for them.  Hehe.  They like these little guys so I gesso-d up this wooden door hanger and painted it blue.  Then I thought it would be fun to put this white board self-adhesive sheet on it so they can write messages like no girls except mommy.  Right now it actually says welcome!  I was shocked. Here's a close up of the starfish and octopus.  I added a no heat lamination sheet around them and the puffer fish in case they get some dry erase marker on them. Here is the cute puffer fish. I wa...

CC Designs August Preview -- Sweet November Stamps

Hi!  Thanks for all the comments and visits!  Today we're previewing Sweet November Stamps over at CC Designs and yes, they are Halloween stamps! This spooky gal is Tish!  Isn't she fun?  She is so fun to color and this little scene came together easily.  The spider and the eyeballs are part of Oct 31 Accessories.  I love the eyeballs!  I tried to make them look bloodshot.  The Creepy bat is from Boo-tiful Sentiments.  The spider web is an embossing folder and I rubbed on some silver gelato.   I love that look. Here is a close up.  I kind of like how I ended up coloring her.  I think sometimes my coloring happens by accident! Please check out the rest of the DT creations HERE .  All these new stamps will be available August 1st at 9 PM EST. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sister Stamps Release #16 -- Turtle Set

Hello!  I am back with another preview for Sister Stamps .  These new Sea Creatures and the Chinese Zodiac additions will be available August 1st! These little cuties are from the Turtle Set.  Aren't they adorable?  They look like best friends all coming together to play in the ocean.  I had a lot of fun coloring these happy guys.  They kind of remind me of my 3 kiddies too.  That little starfish from the Octopus Set is peeking in too.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches and the little bubbles from Lawn Fawn.  Both were heat embossed. Here is a close up photo of the three. Please be sure to check out these ladies as well.  I am sure they will have some cute projects to share! Here is my card featuring Drozy's Darlings Glenda.  The fun sentiment is from Boo-tiful Sentiments.  Paper is from Doodlebug. Sister Stamps Release #16 -- Dolphin Set

Hi everyone!  It's time to preview some cute Sister Stamps !  Have you been visiting the Sister Stamps blog to read all about these new additions?  If not, you may want to head over there to meet the new sea creatures and the newest Chinese Zodiac members.  Plus you can comment for a chance to win one of these cute new stamps! I thought I'd start with these adorable little dolphins!  Don't they look kind of chubby?  Too cute!  They totally look like they should be flipping over in the ocean so that's how I got my sentiment.  I just used my little label maker.  Sometimes I forget that I have that! So it's an interactive card!  You can move the dolphins under the vellum.  I wanted them to look like they were flipping.  It might be a little bent since my youngest thought it was neat but wasn't too gentle. Then the blue dolphin pops out. I heat embossed the waves which is from a Lawn Fawn set.  Hope...

CC Designs July Review -- Sweet November Stamps

Hi!  Just popping in real quick to share my creations for Sweet November Stamps review over at CC Designs Rubber Stamps .  Seems I am not posting as much but I have been enjoying lots of kiddie time.  We have been relaxing and went to the beach too.  Hopefully we'll make it to the beach a couple more times this week.  The kids love to play in the sand and collect shells too. Here is my first card featuring one of the Sweet November Mermaids .  The sentiment is from AmyR Sweet Summer Sentiments . This is my second card which seems super bright right now on my screen.  She is another one of the Sweet November Mermaids and sentiment is also from AmyR Sweet Summer Sentiments . Gosh, it is so humid right now here.  I need to get to a fan and cool off.  I am just sweating typing and crafting!  Hopefully, we'll get some rain too to cool off but not on our beach days. Hope you're enjoying the summer!  Thanks for stopping by! ...

TGF Kidz (again)

Hi!  My youngest made another card to enter in The Greeting Farm's Kidz challenge .  He loves animals and he wanted a chicken stamp so I fished out this set called McSplendid Farm.  I haven't used this in a while.  So he had a story that went along with this card.  The chicken very loudly yelled Hey at the pig which made the pig jump and that is why he is floating in the air.  And he turned the ears on the mouse into those oversized headphones.  Each animal got 2 rhinestones.  No other embellishments this time.  I think this is his CAS look.  Haha. It's almost time for another kiddie activity so I've got to get them ready to head out.  Thanks for reading!

TGF Kidz

Hi all!  The Greeting Farm is having a fun kids contest so out of my 3 kids only my youngest wanted to participate.  But he's always crafting with me when I am crafting so it wasn't hard for me to get him to use some TGF stamps.  He usually picks his favorite TGF stamp set which is Miss Anya Garland but actually picked something different. He picked Anya Treats and wanted that particular sentiment.  I had to read them to him since he doesn't read yet.  He "highlighted" the sentiment.  He colored in markers and wants to learn to blend.  Haha.  All the embellishments are from his own stash!  He collects ribbon from gifts and treats and puts them in his own box.  I tied the bow for him.  I bought him his own rhinestones cause he kept eyeing mine out.  I am glad he is using them in moderation and not all over the place.  And then I guess he felt he had to draw Pikachu's face on there.  Not sure why but there it is....

Yumi & Fumi Handmade Challenge #20 Reminder

Hello!  I am back today to share my card for Yumi & Fumi Handmade Challenge #20 -- Celebration .  You can pick any occasion to celebrate.  I chose birthdays because it's always handy to have a birthday card around.  Here is Yumi Peace Sign .  I chose pink and orange again inspired by the blog hop photo in my previous post.  I never really thought about pink and orange but I kind of like it.  I think the colors look pretty on a kimono.  The sentiment and banner are from Lawn Fawn.  I also used my new Sizzix cherry blossom embossing folder though most of the embossing is covered!  And I got to use lots of my flowers on this one. Close up photo. Summer school is almost done!  I can't believe it'll be back to school soon.  My youngest will be starting Kindergarten!  We have been at that elementary school forever!  Haha.  I am so happy that I get to drive to one less school.  Nowadays I gauge my day...

Yumi & Fumi Handmade 1st Birthday Blog Hop!!!

Hello!  Happy Birthday to Yumi & Fumi Handmade !  They are turning 1!  I can't believe it's already been one whole year since Leanne and Renate' started their own awesome stamp line.  So how else to celebrate this occasion but with a fun blog hop! There are a lot of participants for this hop so you can find the master list HERE on Yumi and Fumi Handmade Crafts blog .  Please refer back to the list if you happen to get lost along the way.  All the prize details and blog hop specifics can also be found there.  Be sure to comment on each blog to be eligible for prizes. Here is the photo we used for our creative inspiration.  I love these colors!  So bright and cheery! My card features Summer Yumi .  The sentiment is from Tiddly Inks. Here's a close up photo.  Tried a different hair color combo.  Think it looks okay. I'm going to keep this post short so you can get on to hopping.  But before I send yo...

CC Designs July Review

Hi!  A quick post -- time for CC Designs July Review .  I have another summer card to share. Here is Watermelon Abigail and the sentiment is from AmyR Sweet Summer Sentiments .  I really like these pun-y watermelon sentiments.  They are so fun! Close up photo.  I added some white to the watermelon seeds and then covered them with glossy accents to make them shiny.  I prefer to eat watermelons with seeds.  I think they are a lot sweeter than seedless watermelons.  But they are kind of messy especially for the kiddies. These summer days are going by quick!  I started organizing school supplies for my younger two.  I have a small stock pile of back to school stuff in a cabinet.  Yeah, I guess I hoard school supplies too as well as crafty stuff.  We have a huge box of just pencils!  Most were given as small treats to our kids from teachers or classmates.  I haven't had to buy any pencils in years. Thanks so m...
