TGF Kidz

Hi all!  The Greeting Farm is having a fun kids contest so out of my 3 kids only my youngest wanted to participate.  But he's always crafting with me when I am crafting so it wasn't hard for me to get him to use some TGF stamps.  He usually picks his favorite TGF stamp set which is Miss Anya Garland but actually picked something different.

He picked Anya Treats and wanted that particular sentiment.  I had to read them to him since he doesn't read yet.  He "highlighted" the sentiment.  He colored in markers and wants to learn to blend.  Haha.  All the embellishments are from his own stash!  He collects ribbon from gifts and treats and puts them in his own box.  I tied the bow for him.  I bought him his own rhinestones cause he kept eyeing mine out.  I am glad he is using them in moderation and not all over the place.  And then I guess he felt he had to draw Pikachu's face on there.  Not sure why but there it is.

He is quite excited about this contest.  I had to explain all the rules!  From the age groups to random selection to blogging and linking.  Oh boy.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Eva this is just so cute! Your son is talented like you and of course, he had to include Pikachu!! I think his drawing makes the card extra special - I hope he wins the contest. I would definitely vote for him!

Awww, so cute! Nice coloring! (No white spaces! I keep hearing that in preschool...) Cute Pikachu! He even has the light circles in his eyes!! Cute decorating as well! My daughter loves those gems too, she sticks them all on herself though, fingernails, hands, earlobes (she can't forget those hello kitty earring stickers!)

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
