Yay!

Hello!  It's a totally dreary day today.  What happened to the sunshine?  And it's COLD!  Hoping the weather clears up this week.

Lately I guess I've been in a challenge kind of mood cause I got a card done for TGF's Birthday Celebrations and MarkerPop's Anything Goes

This is the first time I inked up Up Up Bean from TGF.  Well, that was a weird sentence -- 3 ups in a row!  I had a background done in distress ink watercolors but then decided not to use it after I placed her on a white background.  She looked so much better on the plain white since she is so colorful.  Yeah, I don't know why I used all the colors I did but she seems okay with all of them.  Around the border is Lil Inkers stitched rectangle die and the sentiment (heat embossed in gold) is from CC Designs.  Sequins from Doodlebug.

Here's another view.  Totally love her cute look!

With all the my other hobbies and making just CAS cards, I haven't bought any patterned paper in many months!  I think it might actually be about a year.  I'm kind of happy about that.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by!

It was pretty dreary here in So Cal, but a nice kind since we've been having some hot weather. It was a nice change.
Oh she is adorable!! I think I saw this on the Wow'd Me Wednesday over at TGF. Congrats! CAS is perfect for this bright and fun colored image. Awesome!
I've been good, no new patterned paper pads, but I did break down and bought some foiled paper, does that count? lol! Happy Wednesday!

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

It's a short hop list this time around! Perfect Paper Crafting & Laura My Mind's Eye Pam Jenny Eva (Me!) Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...
