Hello! Today is a seriously windy day here. Amazing how the weather changes so much day to day even in the summer.
I used a favorite TGF stamp of mine, Fairy Queen Anya for this card. I think initially you had to refer someone who bought stamps to get this stamp! So happy that TGF decided to release it as well. I blended some clouds in the background before fussy cutting and gluing the image on. I used the same sentiment from my previous post since it fit so well here too.
I wanted to color her wings in rainbow colors and added some Stickles glitter glue to the wings and her crown. I also glued some purple flower confetti onto the card. I initially thought the confetti would be too small to glue but actually totally manageable. And I didn't get extra glue all over the card so that was a plus.
Hi! The Greeting Farm had their Customer Challenge & Chit Chat Night "A Night at the Bookstore" and introduced a few challenges. I have to say chatting was too fast for me and I couldn't really keep up. It was still early here, and I had to pick up the kids from school and activities and make dinner and eat and so I guess the timing didn't really work out with our schedule. You can check out the challenge details on the SCS forum HERE. I made this card for Favorite Child's Book category. It is based on the Mo Willems book Knuffle Bunny. It's one of my kids' favorites and it's such a cute story. We actually love reading Mo Willems' books especially his Elephant and Piggie series. Those books are hilarious! This challenge also made me realize that I haven't read many books recently except kids' books. I used to love reading but just haven't given it much time lately. Anyway, here is my card.
Hi! I've been making a lot of tags lately trying to get ready for Christmas and I am finally done.
These were made with Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. I love this set. It is so cute and funny!
Here is the back of the tags. I think these would be so fun to put on gifts for children. They would think the tags are so funny!
Here are the polar bear tags. I love this polar bear. His expression is so cute!
This is the back of the polar bears.
I also made more of the tags I had made last year. So these are all listed in my shop now. I tried to make a lot at one time because I'm not sure if I'll be making more of these designs this year. I want to make some newer ones with some of my dies that I have not used yet! Trying so hard to not buy more than I can use. Although sometimes that is so difficult! I was really good in September and did not buy any new Mama Elephant or the cute Bitty Bears from Birdie Brown. I had such restraint but who knows how long that will last t…
Hi! We had a short black out this morning and I didn't know what to do without my computer and internet, and I couldn't go blog surfing. I was sad but I did cut everything out for my kids' Halloween goody bags. Good thing my Big Shot isn't electric.
Anyway, I made another page to my 2012 calendar/scrapbook using MFT's sketch #39 and Pure Innocence Year of Flowers series Poppy.
Here's my page. Somehow I'm not loving this one too much. I love the image but somehow the colors remind me of fall too much and not too summery. And I think the proportions are a bit off. But I decided to just stick with it. It's still cute.
Here's a picture of both pages.
I'm gonna have to wait til I order the next couple months to continue. But I'm happy I've made it this far!
The kiddies are home for fall break. It's nice but messy and noisy. It may be a long week.
