update ...

Hi!  I'm still here ...  But summer is so busy, isn't it?  With my 3 kids all with different schedules, I don't have a huge chunk of time to craft!  Plus I'm so tired by the time it's 10 pm, sometimes earlier, that I just go to sleep!  At least the kiddies are having fun.  Today, my daughter is going to the pool with her summer school math class!  Yeah, some how the teachers have devised a way to learn about math in the pool.  My daughter loves to swim so hopefully she's enjoying the pool at her new school.

My son is also at the same summer school and his class is going on a bowling field trip today!  He is lucky.  His class is going on some field trip every Friday.

And even my youngest one is having a Field Day at his preschool.  He loves to run around.  So I have about an hour or so everyday before I have to pick up or drop off some one at school.  Next year, I gotta get them all on a similar drop off/pick up schedule.

I have nothing crafty to share today but thought I would post a picture my youngest one drew.

One of his preschool teachers taught him how to draw Angry Birds.  So he came home from school and showed us too!  He loves to draw!

It's been a funny summer here with lots of rain.  Today is sunny though so hopefully we'll have a good weekend too.  Thanks so much for reading and I'll be back soon!

What cute birds!!! And so recognizable, that's impressive. Love their flying lines! :) Finally this summer seems less busy since both my kids are finally at the same place! And we could all sleep in a little this week. Maybe next week won't seem as easy getting everybody ready earlier. Can't imagine all your driving, hopefully the traffic is not too bad.
They are so cute....
I know this month June the weather has been a bit iffy... We haven't had stormy rain it's mostly over cast, cloudy kind, exceptional for today weather has been pretty awesome I had a chance to work in my yard today..... Hope it stays nice all weekend too....
Aww that is the cutest! Great drawings! Hope you are having a fun time and are getting a little bit of time to yourself too :)

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
