CC Designs August Review -- Drozy's Darlings

Hello!  I know my posts have been a bit sporadic.  I've just been relaxing a bit while the kids are adjusting to school and finally my daughter will start this week.  I will have to get used to a new routine of pick ups and after school activities.  I've written out the new schedule and hopefully it works out okay.

Well, it is time to review Drozy's Darlings over at CC Designs.

I made another Halloween tag.  I think these will come in handy for some teacher treats.  I'll just attach this to a bag of goodies or something.  The image is Glenda.  The little clouds are cut from felt and are from the Four Season Tree Die.  The sentiment is from AmyR Witch-ful Thinking and is stamped on the Banner Day die. 

Here's a close up of Glenda.  I added some glitter using a black glitter gel pen.  And the papers are the new Doodlebug Halloween Parade.  I love this paper pad!  I may have to buy 2 of each paper pad.  One to use and one to hoard.

Super cute!! It feels weird to be doing Halloween stuff right now, but I actually have several things ready and won't be doing it at the last minute! Awesome tag!!

Cute tag! You've made a lot of stuff even with your kids on summer vacation! So nice to think of the teachers. Yeah, the paper is super cute too!

School is officially back in session tomorrow and my kiddos are ready....finally! Lol!

Hi!  After finishing up these 2 projects for TGF's Blog Hop , I've come to realize that I am kind of addicted to stamps, especially TGF stamps.  Hehe.  Okay, I will not babble on too much since there are lots of other blogs to check out as well.  I made something for both categories, Holiday and General. First up is my Holiday card. I recently acquired Hippie Anya!  She inspired me to make a "peace" card for the holidays. upcycling Pokemon wrappers

Hello everyone!  I am back with my latest sewing creations.  I have been playing around with plastic wrappers!  I've seen those upcycled plastic wrap bags and purses (usually made from Capri Sun package juice) but never really paid attention to them or how they were made until I saw this tutorial using the wrappers from Pokemon cards.  My boys love Pokemon cards and were just throwing the wrappers away but I started saving them and collected enough from their recent birthdays to make a couple of items.  Here is a little coin pouch (didn't want to call it a purse since it's for my youngest boy and he'd probably not like that).  This little pouch was made with 4 wrappers, 2 in front and 2 in back.  It is a bit tough to turn right side out because the wrappers and contact paper get stiff.  But it's possible and looks really neat!  I made it so he could hang it from the inside of his backpack and also carry around a little bit of emergency...
