CC Designs October Preview -- Animals

Hi everyone!  Wow, it's time for previews again at CC Designs!  The October release is all about Christmas!  I can't believe we're heading into the holidays again.  These Christmas stamps are perfect for cards and little gifts boxes or tags.  The October release will be available Thursday, October 3rd at 9 PM EST.

This is a stamp called Present Teddy and is from a line called Monkey Feet.  It's the first time I am trying out one of their images.  Lots of fun details and the animals are cute!  I added this image onto the top of a mini pizza box made from a tutorial on SCS here.  I also added the Holly and Berry die in a couple of the corners.  I used some ribbon to wrap around the sides and added a small tag too.

Here is a close up of the image.

You can see what other cute animal images will be released in October on the CC Designs blog.

Before I go, I just want to say I'm tired.  Today I feel tired from trying to do everything by their respective deadlines.  I am trying to finish up some stuff and I will be happy when it is completed.  Maybe I will share some photos when I am done.

Thank you all for stopping by and leaving me cheerful comments.  I appreciate it!  Have a great week!

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

It's a short hop list this time around! Perfect Paper Crafting & Laura My Mind's Eye Pam Jenny Eva (Me!) Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
