All That Scraps January Preview

Hello!  Happy 2013!!  Our kids actually almost made it til midnight!  They lasted til 11:30 and then couldn't stay up any longer.  I was already in bed.  Hehe.

Today is All That Scraps January Preview of Sweet November Stamps.  Before I show you my project, I just wanted to say that I love these new stamps.  They are so adorable!!

You may have to click the photo to enlarge it to see the details.  I made a simple set of baby note cards.  We know 3 ladies giving birth this year and they are all having boys!  This set of animals is called Safari Pals.  I just stamped them in blue ink and added a sentiment from Welcome Little One.  I added some tiny blue bows too.

This set uses Forest pals.  Aren't they super cute too?

I boxed them all up with matching cream colored envelopes.  The bottom of the box is cream as well and the top is clear.  I added cream and blue ribbon.  The little rattle is a die cut from Baby Accessories which will be released this January 3rd as well.  I thought this would be a cute gift for the new mommy to use as thank you cards.

Please check out more previews from the DT HERE.

Thanks for reading!

Oh yes, these are very cute. I love how you boxed them up. If these were on the shelf at Longs, I would say "aww...how cute!" and put them in my basket for sure! My kids made it until 12 but I kept trying to get them to bed earlier - I was so tired. Happy New Year!

Aww totally cute set of cards and the box is awesome Eva! I can't wait to get them. Hoping I might win them first but if it doesn't happen then definitely picking them up. I know several ladies who are preggers and these will definitely come in handy.
Happy New Year!!

Awww, yeah, these baby animals are so cute! My daughter likes the giraffe. Oh gosh, my kids have been staying up late, all the other days too besides New Year's Eve. Not sure how it's going to work with going back to school...

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
