Dream & Happy Mother's Day!

Please click HERE for Lawn Fawn and Perfect Paper Crafting Blog Hop. *********************************************************************************** Hello!  It's my last day to share Sister Stamps projects.  So sad!  I had a lot of fun playing with these cute new stamps.  Thanks again for the opportunity, Jenny!  I made a few projects with Haruyo.  Her costume reminds me of the ones worn by dancers during Okinawan performances.  See HERE for a picture.  My sister-in-law studies traditional Okinawan dancing and music so Haruyo reminded me of her and I also thought my in-laws would love this image. I made this with 4 layers of thin cardboard I had lying around.  I added washi tape around the edges and just decorated the front.  I wanted the girls to look like they were dancing. I also made a couple of simple Mother's Day cards.  Hopefully they will like them.  The sentiment and tags are from Papertrey Ink. ...

So sweet & So much joy

Hello again!  I am back to share more Sister Stamps cuteness.  These stamps will be available May 1st.  I think they are quite popular in Hawaii since they really appeal to all the local folks here.  I still remember trying to buy some of their stamps on a release day and the store was already sold out on some of them!  Today is Shin-Shin's turn to be in the spotlight. Isn't she adorable?  My kids love her so much.  I made this for my daughter.  It holds a bunch of small post-it notes inside and I got it from our financial planner for my birthday.  They always send little gifts and I never know what to do with them since they are always covered with their photos and business names.  So I thought I'd alter it a bit so it would be cuter.  I added washi tape to the spine and paper and tags from Elle's Studio.  These little tags make crafting and card making so easy!  Here's a little close up. I also created a c...

So Happy & So Lucky!

Hello!!!  It's me!  I get to Guest Design with Sister Stamps May release !  Woohoo!  Thanks, Jenny!  And look at these cuties this month.  Gotta totally love these girls and that cute little panda.  I really wondered what I should make and so I made a couple of things for today's post featuring Li-Li. I made a CAS card because I love to showcase these cute images.  They are so fun to color and quick too.  I was wondering though what color a panda's tail is?  I even Googled it and I think it is mostly white.  I was kind of fixated on that for a while and had to search for the answer.  The circle tag and banner are from Elle's Studio. A little close up of Li-Li but I realize that I forgot to rub on some color onto the panda's cheeks! I also altered this mini composition book that I had still on my desk!  I wrapped the spine of the book with washi tape so it is still flexible.  The papers and circle tag are...

Yumi and Fumi Challenge #14 reminder

Hello!  There is still time to enter Y umi & Fumi Handmade's Challenge #14 -- multiple folds .  I decided to make another flip card from this tutorial that I found HERE .  I used Yumi with Birdie and added a sentiment (a little birdie told me) from CC Designs.  I think the grass might make the second half of the sentiment difficult to see.  Those corner dies I got from Lala Land Crafts.  I've been wanting some kind of corner dies for a while now so I finally caved and bought this one.  And the flowers were from Kim Yu .  She's so sweet to have sent me a whole bunch of flowers for my birthday.  Thank you! This is the inside.  The sentiments are from Paper Smooches. I hope you'll check out what Kim has made too!  It is an awesome card that I'll have to try.  It looks so neat!  Check it out HERE .  Yumi & Fumi Handmade is also having a SALE until Monday so check it out before it's too late!  Don...

All That Scraps April Review

Please click HERE for Perfect Paper Crafting and Elle's Studio Blog Hop! *********************************************************************************** Hello!  Today is review day at All That Scraps .  I'm sharing a card that features a sweet stamp called Mom's Heels from Drozy's Darlings . Did you ever dress up in your mom's clothes?  I don't think I ever did but I do remember trying on heels.  Maybe that's way I love shoes way more than clothes.  Which reminds me that I really do need some new shoes soon.  Guess I'll have to go shopping.  Anyway, these pretty papers are from Wild Rose Studio.  I thought I would use them for Valentine's Day but then never got around to them.  The sentiment is from Webbie's Words Baby Cakes. I added some Stickles to her wings and liquid pearls.  And I'm still using my latest Spellbinders dies.  I love this shape! Thanks for stopping by!

More baby cards

Hello.  Yay, Friday!  Well, before the craziness of the weekend, I thought I'd post my last 2 baby cards.  It takes me a while to get around to writing these posts too...followed last week's sketch on Splitcoaststampers . I forget what company this lion stamp is from as I threw away the packaging, but it was a boy baby/child clear stamp set on clearance a long time ago at Michaels.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.  The papers are also kind of old, Heidi Grace from Joanns.  The scallop border is a MFT die-namics. Same basic layout for this card, except I left the scallop border a little longer since it was uneven on the previous card.  Stamps are from Paper Smooches.  Paper is DCWV Nana's Nursery, also bought a long time ago that I never got around to using for its original purpose of a baby scrapbook.  Cardstock is Papertrey ink. This was the original sketch, I changed the last rectangle to a scalloped circle. Well, have ...

All That Scraps April Review

Hello!  Here's a card I created for All That Scraps review of CC Designs' April stamps. This is 'Stache Monkey.  Still love that mustache!  I stamped lots of mustaches in the background from For My Guy.  The sentiment is also from For My Guy.  I love this Grunge Tag too.  It's actually a bit longer but I did some partial die cutting to cut it shorter to fit my card.  I wanted to say thank you for all the fun birthday cards and well wishes!  I had a relaxing day eating lots of food.  Though my most favorite thing was taking a nap without worrying about picking up kids or cooking dinner or something.  Peace of mind for a couple of hours.  Maybe I worry too much?  Thanks so much stopping by!

40

Hello.  Quick post to get my card into the Simon Says Stamp Happy Birthday Challenge .  Technically it's their 4th birthday, not 40th, but close enough, right?  Slightly larger than usual card to fit the MFT Die-namics doily on there.  The numbers were 7 gypsies stamps, punched out with Marvy punches.  Flowers stamps/dies, and sentiment stamp are from Papertrey Ink. I actually decorated the inside too which I don't usually do, but I stamped the flowers about a bazillion times trying to get them lined up straight plus I had to try all the stamps in the set so not all the flowers could fit on the front.
