Perfect Paper Crafting and Elle's Studio Blog Hop!!

Hello everyone!  Welcome to Perfect Paper Crafting and Elle's Studio Blog Hop!  I am so excited to share what I've made but before I do, I want to mention what the prizes are.  Elle's Studio is generously giving away the entire Serendipity and Day to Day lines to one winner.  Perfect Paper Crafting will be giving away a $50 gift certificate to their online store to one winner.  All you have to do is leave a comment on each blog on the hop to be eligible for the prizes.  You have until Friday, April 19th at Midnight PST to leave your comments.  Good luck!

Here is the blog hop list:
Eva Uyeunten (ME!)

I made 3 projects for this hop!  So hopefully you'll stick with me.  Elle's Studio is a new company to me and I already love their products!  I didn't know what I wanted to make since I haven't scrapbooked in a while and I felt all rusty but it was so easy to put these projects together because everything is so well coordinated.

I made this mini scrapbook first and bound it with my Cinch.  I love it!  I used all the 4x6 journaling tags and tabs from the Serendipity line.  I added some 4x6 cardstock as well for extra pages.  I just so happen to have some 4x6 chipboard lying around for the covers and so everything came together easily.  I wrapped the edges of my covers with washi tape before decorating them.  And I even used the cute packaging from the products (in pink above) as a mat.

I'll share a couple of pages.  I also had some Instagram style photos lying around so I trimmed them to look more like Polaroids and then matted them with my Perfect Layers rulers.  I stamped that fun sentiment which is also from Elle's Studio.  I like the quality of their clear stamps!  And everything is so nice and matching!

Here is another page.  I haven't added any personal journaling yet.  I thought I could throw it into my purse and add my journaling while I'm waiting for the kids at school.

So after I made the first book, I thought I'd make a second one with the products from the You & Me line.  I used one of the tags for the cover and matted that with the Perfect Layers rulers.  This was so fast and simple too since I used the journaling tags and tabs as my pages.  All I have to do is add my photos.

Here is the inside of how I bound the smaller tags/tabs into the books.  I love how these little books came out and I can't wait to make more for every occasion like birthdays and Halloween and Christmas.  I'm so excited!

And because I like to make cards, I made a card.  Elle's Studio had the cutest papers, tags and sentiments.  I just used one of the 4x6 journaling tags as the front of my card.

I added this cute stamp from The Greeting Farm that I matted with my rulers.  The sentiment below the stamped image I cut out from that little perforated strip of the 12x12 paper.

Okay, I don't want to keep you here any longer so you can continue on with the hop.  Next up is Keri Babbitt.

Thank you for stopping by!

nice photo album and cards. love the blue and pink on card
Wow! Just adorable! I've used the cinch at my local scrapbook store before and I really like it! I just don't think I'd use it that much. I like how you spaced out the connectors. And how you added the smaller index cards in with the larger pages! Very very cute! :)

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire through the hat and then use it as

coffee cup shaped cards

Hi!  I think after this post I may need a little nap!  My right shoulder is actually feeling worn out from all the typing and photo editing I've been doing lately.  And this cooler weather is making me drowsy.  It's getting cold here already! I made a bunch of these coffee shaped cards using a die from Honey Bee Stamps .  It's a cute coffee set but the die is extra long so it would probably help to have a longer platform to diecut.  I just have the standard sized one so I would pass it through once in my Big Shot and then rotate the cardstock and die carefully to cut the other end.  Manageable but the longer platform would be more convenient! I embossed the front of the card with some pretty snowflakes.  I think this is a Sizzix embossing folder.  And then stamped the coffee sleeve with some Lawn Fawn stamps. This is the inside.  The gift card slot does not come with this coffee cup die set.  I cut that opening with one of the dies from MFT's gift card dies.

Knuffle Bunny

Hi!  The Greeting Farm had their Customer Challenge & Chit Chat Night "A Night at the Bookstore" and introduced a few challenges.  I have to say chatting was too fast for me and I couldn't really keep up.  It was still early here, and I had to pick up the kids from school and activities and make dinner and eat and so I guess the timing didn't really work out with our schedule. You can check out the challenge details on the SCS forum HERE .  I made this card for Favorite Child's Book category.  It is based on the Mo Willems book Knuffle Bunny .  It's one of my kids' favorites and it's such a cute story.  We actually love reading Mo Willems' books especially his Elephant and Piggie series.  Those books are hilarious!  This challenge also made me realize that I haven't read many books recently except kids' books.  I used to love reading but just haven't given it much time lately.  Anyway, here is my card. If you've read the story
