penguin tags and craft fair reminder

Hello!  Yesterday I finished making up 30 penguin tags for the upcoming craft fair I'll be at.  Seems like there is never enough time to make everything you want to make, right?  I guess it's partly because I want to make everything!  I am trying to cut back on that!  I still have lots to pack up and inventory.  I think that might be my least favorite part of this whole venture.  All the paper work and keeping track of everything makes my brain hurt.  But I want to start so I am not rushing at the last minute.

These cute penguins are from Mama Elephant.  But the speech bubble, to and heart is from Lawn Fawn.  I did some masking to place the penguin's Santa hat and then to place him onto the floating iceberg.

Here is another penguin.  He looks a bit wobbly.

Then the last penguin who is on his behind.  These are so cute to add to gifts.  I'll be packing them in sets of 5 for the fair.

The Moanalua 99 Craft Fair is on Sunday, September 20th from 10 am to 3 pm.  Hope you can make it!  My Etsy store will be closed, I think possibly from tonight until a couple days after the fair so I can update my listings.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Just adorable...makes me want to get a penguin or two. Best of luck at the craft fair!
These are cute Eva- great job on those penguin tags....
I myself have been crafting like crazy, I was blessed to have several people asked me to make a bunch of projects for their craft fairs too! Unfortunately
I was not asked to publish them in anyway because of their personal reasons. The Big Island is not like Oahu where you have thousands of people so no one really cares what you do. But here, everyone wants to be better than the next and it's so sad that they are people out there that are like that....You'll do great that's for sure....Take care ~ and good luck!

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
