the big day

Hello!  We're celebrating a special birthday over at Yumi and Fumi Handmade Crafts.  It is Renate's birthday!  Here is the card I made for her.

I used cute Fumi with Umbrella.  I used a frame die from Papertrey Ink which I love.  The banner and the sentiment in it is also from PTI and coordinates with the frame stamp/die set.  The circular sentiment is from Wild Rose Studio.

Here she is close up.  I had fun coloring up her kimono.  I don't usually do this shade of blue but I love it now.  Oh, the pink doily behind her is a die from Cheery Lynn.
