All That Scraps CLEAR Stamps Preview!

Hello!!  All That Scraps is introducing CLEAR stamps today!  The clear stamps make stamping sentiments so much easier!  There are 3 new clear stamp sets being released in April, and I have 2 cards to share using 2 of the 3 sets.

I made this flip card using this cute owl and a few sentiments from the For My Guy set.  I found instructions on how to make the flip card HERE.  I also used the cute moustache die from the Guys Dies that are being released in April.  The moustache on the owl cracks me up for some reason.

When you open the flip card, you can see the rest of the sentiments.

This is my second card and features the For My Gal stamp set.  There are a lot of stamps in this set but I chose to use the little flowers and heart and that cup/pitcher as a vase for the flowers.  I used my Perfect Layers rulers to create the mats around the image too.  (Our first blog hop for Perfect Layers is April 1st!  So excited about that too!)

This is a close up.  I used the Gals Dies to cut out all the yellow flowers.  Then I added liquid pearls for the centers of the flowers.  It did take me a little bit of time to cut out all the flowers and glue them on.  They are tiny!  But I love the end result.

Hope you enjoyed this preview!  You can see more of these new clear stamp sets HERE.  All That Scraps April previews continue tomorrow so hope you'll stop by again.  There are a lot of cute stamps!

Thanks for reading!

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

It's a short hop list this time around! Perfect Paper Crafting & Laura My Mind's Eye Pam Jenny Eva (Me!) Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
