Hello everyone! I have exciting news to share as you may have guessed by the title on my post. This opportunity to design for Sister Stamps came when I was contemplating going back to work and doing less DT stuff. I thought to myself, is this a sign for me to learn how to say no or is it another positive opportunity? I guess you know which I picked and really, how do you say no to Sister Stamps? Love the cute stamps and Jenny is super nice! Thanks, Jenny for this wonderful opportunity! And somehow I guess work will eventually fall into place down the road too. Right?
Anyway, this is Sister Stamps 15th release and soon to be their 2nd birthday. But for today, I thought I'd share something not birthday-ish but Christmas-y. Yes, Christmas in June/July! We have lots of family with dogs even multiple doggie families so these stamps are gonna come in handy at Xmas time.
Here is my project featuring the very sweet looking Kiki. She looks so calm! I finally gave in and bought this stocking die from Stampin' Up a while ago to prepare for this Xmas. I cut some felt out and used fabric glue to seal the edges together. My fabric glue was kind of old and stuck so when I squeezed just a bit too hard everything oozed out onto my crafty board! Didn't want to waste the glue so I just used my finger. Talk about messy! That isn't really a doggy treat in there either. It's a cereal bar for humans but it fit nicely. Hopefully I can find some kind of doggy treat or something.
Here's a close up photo of Kiki on the tag. I used a mini clothes pin to attach the tag to the stocking. I also added some color to her cheeks. Animals need blush too, right?
Please head over to the rest of the Sister Stamps gang to see more inspiration!
