I can't believe it's November! Ack! I feel behind on my Christmas shopping already! Anyhow, I have another non-seasonal card. I followed this Saturday sketch over at the Club Anya blog which was helpful because I always have the hardest time figuring out where to place things. It's a pretty literal take on the sketch. I used the Amazing Duo Anya stamp (finally decided to try coloring the girl superhero). Might not be coloring her again for a while...the wavy hair was difficult! I used prismacolor pencils, black, cool gray 90% and 70% for the hair, electric blue and crimson lake for the outfit, peach and light peach for the skin. I added diamond stickles to the star and belt buckle which I don't think shows up very well in the photo.
I used dark chocolate cardstock from PTI. I can't remember the brand of the patterned paper, but I bought it a long time ago at Costco, it came as 2 different brands in 2 huge stacks of patterned paper. And I got a new punch from Michaels. It's a Martha Stewart Loopy Ribbons that also came with a corner punch to make square or rectangle frames. It was on clearance, but would have been cheaper if I could have used my 50% off coupon, shucks! Now that I see a photo of the card, the white circle looks quite white. I guess I should try to trim Anya out next time.
