Best Grandma Ever

Hi!  I was able to make another card!  This one was inspired by both TGF's Friday Spyday #7 and Moxie Fab World's Celebrating Relationships Challenge.  This card celebrates Grandparents' Day or more specifically Grandma in our family.

I used Grandma and the sentiment from TGF's Grandparents set.

The banner is from PTI.

Hmmm, not much to add to this post.  I'll keep it short and simple.  Thanks for reading!

EEK, what a cute grandma! Love the red, black & kraft. I just noticed you switched back to copics - or are you using both now?

Hi Eva, I love your card. I don't have this stamp from TGF, and I am not too sure as to why that is. I think your little Grandma just looks so darling. You can just smell her baked sugar cookies from here. lol.... I have to agree with everyone that your choice of DP and their colors are just wonderful. I also love how you have added the shadows to Grandma's dress. Great coloring. Thanks for playing with us on the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog. Hugs, Lisa G

Eva, love your adorable card. We just don't see the grandparents stamps often anymore and you did it proud! She is absolutely adorable. Thanks so much for joining this week's Friday Spyday at TGF's Farm Fresh Challenge blog.
Hey Eva! Thanks once again for linking up to the Celebrating Relationships Challenge in the Moxie Fab World! :)

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
