Hi!  TGF's Friday Spy Day #24 is casing Rachel's awesome card so I had to play along.  I went with the general layout of Rachel's card.

I used TGF's Blush Bonnie who has been neglected for a while.  I forget that she is smaller than the usual TGF stamps.  She is lots of fun to color up.  I added some stick pins I've had for awhile.  I always think the recipient might poke their fingers so I thought this was a good layout to hide the sharp points. 

I also got to play around with my new heat gun.  Hehe.  I bought the Tim Holtz hair dryer looking one from J's Knicknacks.  If you live around here, it's one of the best places to shop for stamps and other fun goodies.  He has awesome sales and discounts!  Anyway, I haven't heat embossed since I was in college, maybe?  A long time ago.  And back then I used to really just use my hair dryer!  It really is fun to heat emboss and not as messy as I feared thanks to plastic containers.  I used TGF's Blush Hello for the embossed background and the smaller circle in the front as well.

Tomorrow is TGF's Farmer's Market!  Can't wait to see what is gonna be on sale!  I think I can squeeze in a few more stamps in my plastic containers.  One day, I'll photograph all my TGF stamps to share with you.  It may give my hubby a heart attack.  Haha.

She's a sweetie and you have colored her beautifully, Eva! Love the heat embossing too - can't believe you didn't heat emboss since College, lol. and my hairdryer can't do it - it doesn't get near as hot as the heat tools do. Oh and come enter your name in mr. linky for my giveaway!

This is beautiful!! I hope you submit it to the Flutterby Wednesday challenge this week. It's an open challenge and your card definitely fits the rules.
I met both J and his wife Cheryl at CHA, they are both really nice people. Lucky you live so close that you can pop in and shop.

When you post a picture of your TGF stamps I'll do the same. hahaha, we can see who has the most. lol..

Wow Eva this is amazing!! I love the colours of this card and your beautiful heat embossing! I haven't given this a go yet...got the die cutter for my birthday instead :D It looks awesome though! Btw I left you a little something over at my blog :) hehe

Oh no, no, no, never lay it all out for the hubby to see! They don't understand that enough is NEVER enough! he he

Cute Blush! I haven't gotten one of those girls yet, but now you made her look so darn cute!!!

FYI- I've seen people use earring backs on the ends of the pins so you don't get poked! I had some clear rubber ones that were a little loose, but I just put some clear Elmers on the end and it worked out pretty good!

So pretty! The embossing looks nice! Lovely inking! Reminds me that I need to use the pins you gave me... good tips by Rachel for the pointy ends, I need to try that at some point.

Hi!  After finishing up these 2 projects for TGF's Blog Hop , I've come to realize that I am kind of addicted to stamps, especially TGF stamps.  Hehe.  Okay, I will not babble on too much since there are lots of other blogs to check out as well.  I made something for both categories, Holiday and General. upcycling Pokemon wrappers

Hello everyone!  I am back with my latest sewing creations.  I have been playing around with plastic wrappers!  I've seen those upcycled plastic wrap bags and purses (usually made from Capri Sun package juice) but never really paid attention to them or how they were made until I saw this tutorial using the wrappers from Pokemon cards.  My boys love Pokemon cards and were just throwing the wrappers away but I started saving them and collected enough from their recent birthdays to make a couple of items.  Here is a little coin pouch (didn't want to call it a purse since it's for my youngest boy and he'd probably not like that).  This little pouch was made with 4 wrappers, 2 in front and 2 in back.  It is a bit tough to turn right side out because the wrappers and contact paper get stiff.  But it's possible and looks really neat!  I made it so he could hang it from the inside of his backpack and also carry around a little bit of emergency...
