bear hugs

Hi again.  Back today to share a set of 3 cards I made with Mama Elephant's Bear Hugs.  Love how sweet the sentiments are in this set and the bears are too cute.

Here is the first one.  I wanted to use each of the 3 bear images so I colored them all with Copics and cut them out.  Then I made some distress ink water colored backgrounds.  I think in real life the background is a bit darker but got lightened in my photo editing.  I added the moon and heat embossed the stars and sentiment.  Also added some Stickles to the stars.

Here is the second one.  All the sentiments are the same.  I think these are cute for a child to give a parent and vise versa too.

My last one.  I just thought today that these would make cute polar bears too and would be so much easier cause they could just be white!

Well, that's the last of my cards I made for this week.

Thanks for visiting!

Awww, such sweet cards. And so sad when the kids are too big now to carry so easily... Yeah, good idea to make white polar bears! Ha ha!

Super cute....makes me miss the days whwn my kiddos were younger. A sweet sentiment, I can see why you used it multiple times... I would have too!

I LOVE these cards! Your background is what really makes them stand out...great color choices. Thanks for the artistic 'Van Goghish Starry Starry Night' inspiration.

oh my! These are all adorable Eva! I love how you did the background and positioned each bear strategically. You're right these would make great cards for kids or parents to exchange. Awesome share today! Happy Saturday!

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...
