CC Designs December Preview -- Roberto's Rascals

Hello all!  Time for more Roberto's Rascals from CC Designs December release preview.  The new release will be available Thursday, December 5th at 9 AM EST.

My card features the fun and cute Skating Twila.  The sentiment is from Freezin' Season.  We don't have snow days here but once we did have a rain day where it was raining so much, they cancelled school.  It's kind of like today, where it is pouring rain outside and the roads are flooded.  But we still managed to go out and get our Christmas tree!  We wrapped it in a tarp on top of our car roof and brought it safely home.  The snowflake die and the icicle border die are available now in the CC Designs store.  These are quickly becoming a couple of my fav dies to work with for these winter cards.

Here is a close up of Twila.  I added lots of Stickles in the background and on the snowflake die cuts for some glittery-ness.

On a side note, I am guest-ing over at Chi Chi Memories for the next couple of months.  I'll be sharing a weekly project every Friday on my blog here but you can check it out now on the Chi Chi Memories blog HERE.  They have some cute digi stamps!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

So cute! Love the glittery snowflakes! First year we actually saw our tree in daylight and planned ahead for xmas tree shopping! Wow u wrapped your tree! I think it rained one year and we just brought it home wet, a little deceiving cuz it looked a lot fresher when it was wet! Your tree always looks so full, I don't remember seeing that kind tree when I was little!

Golly Holly! I love the look of this card! Your color choices are special because they work even if they aren't traditional. The image and coloring are exceptional. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
