CC Designs December Preview -- Swiss Pixies

Hello!  We're on our last day of previews for CC Designs December release.  I have a simple but fun card to share today.

This new image is called Pocket Birgitta.  Totally sweet in her winter wear.  The sentiment is from Freezin' Season and influenced my card design.  I punched that teeny snowflake next to the sentiment from some patterned paper with my hole punch.  I used my polka dots embossing folder and then used CC Cutter It's Snowing dies to cut out the snowflakes.  From this view it looks like I just glued the snowflakes on the card.

But I inlaid the snowflakes into the white cardstock so that they are flat.  I carefully put the white centers back in too.  I had to rotate the snowflakes til they were a perfect fit.

Here is a close up of Pocket Birgitta.  I did the same with those blue snowflakes.

This is the inside of the card.

Only a few more days til the end of school and Christmas.  I feel like I have lots to do still.  Hopefully I can get everything done!

Thanks for stopping by!

The inlaid snowflakes are brilliant! I love how the whole card works together to be a masterpiece of Christmas joy. Thanks for adding to my collection of smiles in the holiday season.

Brrr, it's so cold here now, I feel like we're in snow! That was a neat idea to inlay the snowflakes! Looks kinda quilt-like. Nice coloring of Birgitta!
