Fat Bear Stamps

Hi all!  I have a non-DT project to share with you today.

So I love these pierced tags from MFT!  Love the banner dies and these giftcard holder dies too.  So fun to put these giftcard holder tags together.  You all understand the sentiment means Be Merry and not Merry B, right?  Sometimes I wonder about my hubby.  It's kind of obvious to me but it wasn't to him.

I also made matching envelopes with my new Envelope Punch Board.  I kind of made them look like those manilla envelopes by folding them a little differently.

Here is the front of the envelopes.  These are stamps from Forever Friends.  I call them Fat Bear stamps.  I used to have these fat bears as stuffed toys, on stationary and cards and cups too but now can't find them here at all.  They have them online but from England.  I bought this stamp from 7 Kids and while they are cute, the quality isn't so great.  Kind of disappointed in that and happy I only ordered this one stamp.

I traced over the stamped image again with my copic multiliner because it just didn't stamp very nicely.  But isn't he very cute?

Thanks so much for reading!

Awwwww, super cute! I love those bears! I used to see them at the Hallmark store...20+ years ago... Ha! I never thought of Merry B, maybe cuz I already saw the stamp set before. Most people will probably go straight for the giftcard anyhow... Cute envelopes too! I think the quality of clear stamps can be variable, I found these super cheap ones at Michaels on clearance, like no wonder, cuz the stamp was kind of soft and squishy, and didn't even stick to the block that well. That was a good idea to trace it, I will have to try that.

Gift card holders are the perfect gift wrap for something small. These are awesome!
Too bad about the quality of the bear stamp, hopefully you didn't pay too much for it.

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
