(This is my second post for the night!)
I used MFT's week 5 sketch for inspiration. I am really enjoying their sketches.
I used Pure Innocence Carnation stamp. It is the first one in the Year of Flowers series. So, yes, I'm kind of hoping I can get all 12 to make this calendar/scrapbook. Each page is 6 x 6. I plan to bind all the pages together with my Cinch once I'm done. A whole year project!
I think she is so cute! I used my rectangle nestie to cut part of the image out and cut the carnation with my scissors. There was a tutorial HERE. I used Liquid Pearls all around the rectangle and tag, and the centers of the butterflies. The bow is an actual bow that I made with the Bow Easy. And it was easy! Butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch. Scallops on the bottom is from a PTI die. And I took my white gel pen to make polka dots on her dress.
This is the calendar page. I made the calendar on my computer and printed it out because I wanted it to be a specific size to fit nicely on the page. I left the large space above to add a picture and maybe some journaling later. That way, after the year is done, you'll have a scrapbook too.
All papers are from Basic Grey. Kraft cardstock from PTI and the green cardstock from American Crafts.
I'll be entering this project in MFTWSC5 and All That Scraps Weekly Challenge (Anything Goes).
Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
