PTI Tag & Frame Challenge

Hi!  Wow, it's not late at night and I'm actually done with this PTI challenge.  See HERE for the details.  I had some time to make my tag & frame in between playing Lego and Search & Find and eating lunch and taking a nap.  My 2 year old was so accommodating today!

Here's the tag I came up with.  I'm kind of stuck with this pink/green color combo.  I used Tag Sale 3 die which I really love because of it's size and that little embossed border.  For this project, I actually popped out all the little dots along the border and sewed a pink border with some embroidery floss.

Closer picture.

I have some Fillable Frames but I thought I'd make a frame like how Nichole did in her post with the circle dies.  I used Nesties Labels One dies which match the shape of the stamp in Tiny Treats Valentine to cut my frame.  The sentiment is from All About You.  The You is stamped on vellum.

The frame is popped up a bit.  Not sure if you can see that clearly.  Added some ribbon, lace, bling, and a flower and I was done!  I'll be ready for the next challenge!  Though I wonder if I should make another Go-To Sentiment card.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could all win a PTI prize?  Just a lucky few, I suppose.  Thanks for reading and yay, it's Friday!  Have a great weekend!

Pretty! Argh, I knew I shouldn't have looked and read closely. I never bought any of the tag dies - but you've got me thinking, ack. Love how you popped the dots out and put in stitching - cool!
So pretty! Love the lace and your embroidery on the tag. Great idea!

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...
