All That Scraps November Review

Hello!  It is review day for CC Designs at All That Scraps.  Christine created so many cute stamps for November!  I love the Meoples series.  They are so cute and small enough so making cards is quick and easy.

I made a set of 4x4 inch Christmas cards using the Meoples Brrrrrr! set.  They came together quickly since I used a similar design for most of them.

The card also features the Dress Up Snowman stamp.  I used the snowman die to cut it out.  Which reminds me, I finally have my Big Shot fixed!  Those new bearings sure make a big difference in how smoothly my handle turns now and it cuts so easily again.  But I'm not sure if it would've been easy for me to fix it myself.  I had my hubby do it and he had to hammer out the old ones, put the new ones in and then reassemble the whole thing back together.  So now I'm thinking I should replace the bearings after every so many years or so many cranks to keep it in good condition.

Isn't this little guy so cute on his sled?

All the sentiments were heat embossed in red with glitter so it sparkles.

So who doesn't get sick during the holidays?  Ha!  The tree is also a die from CC Designs.  Hop over to the ATS blog to check out the rest of the DT creations!

Hope everyone had a chance to vote today!  It was a nice day off for my hubby and 1 out of 3 of my kiddies.  This month is full of holidays isn't it?  Love it!  It's so close to Christmas!  Oh and I haven't mentioned my daughter's lego robotics team in a while.  They won first place for robot performance and will now go on to the state tournament.  So happy for her and her teammates!

Thanks for reading!

I love the Meoples especially this set! I used them to make some 4x4s as well, but mine aren't as cute as yours.
Love how happy your cards are, even the Feel better one.

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
