TGF's Farm Fresh Friday -- Twilight or Fantasy

Hello!  It is time for another fun Farm Fresh Friday!  This week Jess Diedrich is challenging us to create projects inspired by the Twilight series or Fantasy if you're not into Twilight.

Okay, I don't think I'm necessarily Twilight crazy.  Like I won't stand in a super long line for the movie to open or watch all of them in a row in the theatre.  My butt would get sore for one thing.  I would watch them all at home where I can just be comfy in my own living room and pause to use the bathroom freely and eat when I'm hungry.  As a whole I liked the books and the movies so I made a Twilight inspired card using the new James and Sadie.  The quote on the bottom I found online since there are like a million Twilight things.  The forever is a small portion of a longer sentiment stamp from PTI.  I kind of created this card after I had seen some of the movie posters online.  They had forever printed on some of them.

I am so waiting for next week when the kids are off and I don't have to drive as much.  And the shopping!  I love to see what's on sale though I might not necessarily buy anything at all.

Thanks for reading!

I love this Eva. I am a huge Twilight fan. Though because of physical health reasons I am unable to sit in a theater to watch so I have to wait for it to be released on video. I've read the series and watched the movies at least 6 times. My husband says I want to be a vampire, lol. I'm 50 years old, so not the usual age group for Twilight. Love the whole card and Bella's hair is awesome.
What a fabulous card Eva. I always admire how you color hair. I nominate you for the "Hair Coloring Queen" title. Have a fun and crafty day / evening.

Well done!
I love the quote from the book you added, and those red vampire-y eyes are pretty cool too!

Wow, cool card! I'm still at the same spot when you last posted a twilight card, I haven't watched any more of the movies. Yeah, I have to sit cross legged if I'm going to be sitting for that long, I think my knees would kill me first, which should actually inspire me to exercise or lift weights or something. But on the other hand, I can't even get through a whole movie at home anyhow if it's not a kiddie one.
Cool card and just picture perfect...
Happy Friday and have a wonderful crafty weekend~

This is awesome Twilightness! Super cool! I am usually like you, I wait for everything to come out on dvd, but tonight I am braving the crowds with some of my girlfriends! (wish me luck, I always end up with a seat-kicker behind me!)

I'm one of those people!! I didn't sit or stand long in line but I've gotten pretty lucky with waiting to buy tickets for the right show! I saw the movie at 6 pm on Thurs night- it was the earliest show and was a fundraiser :). What a wonderful tribute card!

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
