Lawn Fawn, My Favorite Things, Paper Smooches & More on SALE!!!

EDITED TO ADD:  Sale is closed.  Thank you! Hi everyone!  I think this is it.  Finally listing the last of my used stamps and dies for sale.  There is a bunch of different companies listed here and some items are old but still in good shape mostly because they just sat around not being used for a while! So here is how this sale will work. 1.  Sale is only for the USA.     2.  Prices are firm.  I think these prices are fair.  It is hard to price things that are no longer available and discontinued. 3.  Shipping will be through USPS first class mail with tracking or priority mail. 4.  Shipping & handling costs will be paid for by the buyer. 5.  Payment will be made only through Paypal.  I will invoice you once all costs have been determined. 6.  All sales final.  Sorry, I also will not be responsible for mail that is lost by USPS.  Most of these stamps have only been stamped a few times and some maybe only once.  Some may have some staining as well.  And some may not ha

end of the school year gifts

Hello!  I have one last teacher gift to share and also an idea I came up with for my youngest one's classmates. Here's a little jar I decorated with one of those plastic domes.  I ordered a whole bunch of these domes from Amazon cause I guess they are kind of seasonal at our local crafty store and they didn't have them in stock.  I used PTI's school themed petite places stamp set and matching dies.  I think this little school house is so cute.  Then I added a personalized stamped aluminum circle.  Inside the jar is a gift card and I'm so glad I saved the yellow Easter grass my kiddies had in their treats. Here is a close up of the school house. This is what I put together for my youngest one's classmates.  I wanted to use a sentiment with a-maze-ing.  First I thought I could buy those little toy mazes but after looking around online for a while, I found this neat site that generates mazes of all sizes.  Check it out HERE .  Then my idea came togeth

Christmas in May

Hello!  Thank you all for the encouraging comments and support of my Etsy store opening.  I'll be adding more items soon. Today I am sharing my finished Christmas tree skirt.  I know it's May but I had only finished the top half of this skirt last year and was looking for red fabric for the bottom half.  Finally found some at a good price at Walmart.  The Walmart I go to doesn't seem to restock very quickly.  Red seems to be a popular color also.  I bought whatever was left of the red fabric and when I went back today they still hadn't restocked it. Here is my finished tree skirt.  I purchased a pattern from HERE .  The patterned fabric is a Doodlebug line from Riley Blake that I purchased online.  And I'm pretty much proud of this skirt!  I can't believe I made it.  And I made the binding also and sewed the back of the binding by hand.  I thought it would take me forever but the hand sewing wasn't too long. I did poke my fingers in a couple places

Simply Made Hawaii now open on Etsy!!!

Hello!  I finally did it!  My Etsy store, Simply Made Hawaii , is now open. At the moment, my shop has cards, some jewelry and hair accessories.  I'll be adding more in the future.  If you see something here on my blog but it's not listed in the shop, just email me.  Listing every thing is so time consuming!  I don't know how some shops have over hundreds even thousands of listings! The funny thing is that opening my store has given me some anxiety.  I'm nervous that no one will buy anything ever and also nervous that someone will actually buy something.  It's weird, right?  I know I still have lots to learn about running this shop, so hoping I'll learn quickly.   I also have a facebook page HERE . Okay, so share with your family and friends and anyone else you know. Thanks everyone!

congrats

Hello!  Just popping in to share some cards I made with Winnie & Walter's Addie's Garden.  I wanted this set because it seemed like the images were really easy to water color using distress inks.  Here is the first one I made using the hydrangea stamp.  I heat embossed it in white and just added the distress inks.  The sentiment comes from a PTI set and I heat embossed that in gold. The colors on here are slightly different but the layout is similar to the above card. This is the last one I made using the tulip image.  The sentiment is also from the same PTI set. Remember I still have sales of my used stamps and dies.  Just click on the SALE tab at the top of the page. Thanks so much for stopping by!

"love" necklaces

Hi all!  It's been a little while, hasn't it?  I really can't believe it is already May.  The school year is almost over and the kids all move up another grade.  It's really too fast.  I was asking the kids the other day why it seems like the months and years go by so quickly but sometimes the week just drags on?  Constantly wishing for Friday to hurry up. I'm sharing my latest sterling silver necklaces.  They all fall under the theme of love.  Here is a little heart which is hammered on one side for texture and shine.  I made some earrings with these the last time. Sorry, still cannot get the hang of taking photos of jewelry.  But I love this simple and minimal style of jewelry.  It's kind of like making CAS cards!  These are cute little love birds on a branch.  Really sweet. Another one with an infinity symbol.  You know, cause love is forever! And last, is a simple circle.  A never ending circle to symbolize love too.  Okay, so y
