Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

burlap joy bags & my next craft fair!

Hello!  Wow, I think I need to nap from the 3 day weekend we had.  Either that or drink some coffee which I think I need to start up again just so I can have some energy in the mornings.  I had some coffee over the weekend and I felt like crafting all day!  I purchased these cute drawstring burlap bags and added the fabric joy sentiments onto them.  I made something similar to these before on smaller muslin bags.  These burlap bags seem much more practical since they are larger and can even hold a gift card, perfect for the upcoming holidays. I also made small kraft tags with red twine to go along with these bags.  You'll have to practice some small handwriting as these tags are small but this size seems more proportional to the larger burlap bags. Here's a giftcard hanging from the top of the bag.  I'll be posting these photos onto its Etsy listing which is why I have that disclaimer up there.  Can't be too careful these days as ...

Chi Chi Memories -- Post #2

Hello!  Here I am again to share another Chi Chi Memories project using one of their newly released December images called A Joyful Season.  It's available now HERE . I've made a little gift card box following the tutorial HERE over at Splitcoast Stampers.  I've been using a lot of their tutorials lately.  They have a lot of great ones.  My daughter's friend is celebrating a winter birthday so we got her a gift card and I thought this image would be totally cute for it.  And the sentiment from CC Designs was just a perfect fit. Here's another view. Close up of the image. Here's how it opens.  Pretty neat, huh?  I like that little cut out to insert the gift card and it's not that hard to do. There was even a little skinny place in the box to add this cute little beaded charm.  My daughter thought her friend would like this little birdie since it's blue and that's her friend's favorite color.  You can find these cute...

Fat Bear Stamps

Hi all!  I have a non-DT project to share with you today.  So I love these pierced tags from MFT!  Love the banner dies and these giftcard holder dies too.  So fun to put these giftcard holder tags together.  You all understand the sentiment means Be Merry and not Merry B, right?  Sometimes I wonder about my hubby.  It's kind of obvious to me but it wasn't to him. I also made matching envelopes with my new Envelope Punch Board.  I kind of made them look like those manilla envelopes by folding them a little differently. Here is the front of the envelopes.  These are stamps from Forever Friends.  I call them Fat Bear stamps.  I used to have these fat bears as stuffed toys, on stationary and cards and cups too but now can't find them here at all.  They have them online but from England.  I bought this stamp from 7 Kids and while they are cute, the quality isn't so great.  Kind of disappointed in that and hap...

CC Designs October Preview -- Swiss Pixies

Please click here for Your Next Stamp and Perfect Paper Crafting Blog Hop ************************************************************************************ Hello!  Welcome back to Day 2 of CC Designs October previews.  We're continuing with the Christmas theme. Here is my project featuring Santa's Helper.  Super cute?  I wanted to use some non-traditional Christmas colors too like pink and blue.  And that little present is a new die too called Presents.  Easy to remember.  I attached a small tag onto the ribbon with a bell die and sentiment from Scripted Greetings . Here is a little close up photo.  She has some stickles on her outfit and glossy accents on the ornament and bell. When you undo the bow, the top slides out and you can write a message or maybe attach a gift card.  I found a tutorial for it HERE .  I am slowly trying to build up a stash of gift card holders or cards for all of my kids' teachers. ...
