Hello again!  Today I'm sharing my Sister Stamps cards featuring Kaleo.  If you read my post yesterday, you'll see the cards today are kind of similar.  I was in a distress ink watercoloring kind of mood! So Pua reminded me of Aloha, and Kaleo reminds of Mahalo.  I don't know why but that's just what popped into my head and I went with it.  To me, Kaleo should be singing and playing on the beach somewhere!  Again, I heat embossed the sentiment in white using PTI's alphabet stamps.  I colored 4 Kaleos just varying his hair color and shorts/slippers.  Also added the tiny musical notes from one of Lawn Fawn's background stamps with the rows of musical notes so some selective stamping going on. Hello!  Yay, finally time to share some Sister Stamps projects.  I made these cards a while ago so I may need to refresh my memory of my crafty process.  But it's not too complicated since my cards are usually CAS to begin with. Today, I'm sharing cards I made with Pua.  First of all, isn't she so cute?  Totally reminds me of May Day in Hawaii!  But she is a versatile image perfect for lots of occasions.  When I first saw her, I thought of Aloha so that is the sentiment I went with here made by heat embossing in white and PTI's alphabet stamps.  And rainbows!  Used my distress inks to make the rainbow colored backgrounds.  The right side is a bit brighter but I love the look of both.  I also colored the hair different for each girl and then added little white flowers to her her dress.  You can click on the photo for a bigger view. Hello!  Ha, I think I spoke too soon when I said previously that another post was my last CC Designs post.  This post is seriously my last one!  Today is CC Designs review of Sister Stamps . This is a wooden frame from Walmart that I painted the edges with gesso and then covered with washi paper.  I added some small pearl beading around the heart and kept that open for a photo. Hello!  It's a review day at CC Designs .  I made a pretty simple project to share today with CC Designs Fluffy Bear . I thought this cute little bear would be perfect for a baby announcement or some tags on a baby gift.  I fussy cut the little bows and made one pink for a girl and the other blue for a boy.  The banner at the top is CC Cutters Banner Day die and the sentiments come from AmyR Welcome Little One sentiments .  Pretty simple, right? Hello again!  It's day 3 of CC Designs March previews .  Today we're having a peek at a new line of stamps at CC Designs called Pollycraft.  You might be familiar with them as digital stamps from before.  I'm not completely familiar with them but they do have some adorable images! This little cutie is called Fleur and I colored her in pink with a rainbow of flowers in her hair.  How cute are her rosy cheeks!  Just want to pinch them.  The sentiment is from AmyR Sunny Sentiments .  Did you notice the cute paper from Doodlebug's Springtime?  The sun has a smiley face.  Love this design. Hello!  It's already March!  Wow, it is going by super fast!  Now, it's already time for more previews with CC Designs .  Here is my card and I do love this one.  She is called Fluffy Bear and the set comes with a couple of sentiments including the one that is above and the bow.  I fussy cut the bow and placed it by her ear to make her a girl bear but it could be a bow tie too. Here is a close up of Fluffy Bear.  I was a little worried that I made her look like she had a beard or something.  Too many strokes with my Copic pen!  But I think I got it to lighten out a bit and after adding in the rosy cheeks, she looks pretty good to me.  I know she is a bear and it's okay for her to be a bit furry but I didn't want her to look like she needed a shave. Hi!  So I feel a little bad that in all the Sister Stamps preview excitement, I forgot to post my card for CC Designs February review .  Better late than never, right?  I made this card a while ago and almost forgot about it.  But it is a bright sunny card and features Roberto's Rascals Splish Splash .  The sentiment is from AmyR Rainy Day sentiments.  I was happy that I finally got a chance to use this pretty gray ribbon. Hello!  Gosh, I think I complain about the weather too much.  I'm so happy it's been a lot clearer lately and no rain but geez, it's hot now.  Haha.  A nice breeze every so often would make it perfect. Today is a review day for CC Designs February release.  Here is one of the newest CC Designs characters, Olivia.  This image is Olivia's Happy Day .  The sentiment is from Rainy Day Sentiments .  I used the negative cut out from the Lil Inkers stitched circles that I had leftover from my previous card.  Isn't it cool that it also leaves the stitched look on the negative cut as well?  I embossed that with the floral embossing folder.  I actually added flowers from my stash too. Hello again!  Boy the weather here is so gloomy again.  We actually haven't had many days of sunshine the past couple of weeks.  I feel sorry for tourists who are visiting now only to wake up to rain every morning.  It's supposed to rain this whole week!
