Hi!  Back today to share another batch of 2018 calendars.  I used Mama Elephant 's Bear Favor Bag Accessory dies for these calendars.  Here is my polar bear which is pretty simple to make.  Just using some white cardstock for his head and part of his body.  It is hard to image what the tiny dies could be used for so I end up cutting up a bunch of scratch paper and just moving things around until it looks cute!  These calendars also have a magnet on the back to stick to your fridge or anything else that is magnetic.  They are pretty lightweight and thin. Here is my panda bear.  I didn't know if I wanted to add those cheeks in or not.  My kids thought it was cute without them.  But I like rosy cheeks! Here is my last one which is a variation on the panda and I call him fancy panda because of his mustache and hat.  I like him cause he makes me laugh. Hello!  Maybe one of my New Year's resolutions should be to blog more regularly again.  I should also add on exercising again, and following a budget better.  I am trying not to spend so much on too much crafty things. Hi everyone!  I am so happy this day is done.  I went to my first craft party to sell some of my crafts.  I wouldn't say it was a complete success.  I sold some items and talked to some people.  I don't think I like to socialize much!  I much rather just hang out at home so it was kind of draining for me.  After an hour or so, I wanted to go home.  So happy that a good friend of mine was there to support me and I appreciate that so much.  But I think I learned a lot about what people like.  And I learned that I like crafting and making things but mostly it's because I just plain love to craft.  I don't craft to make money.  I make things for people to make them happy.  In fact, it is usually a person that inspires me to make something or to learn how to do a new craft.  I love making personalized gifts for people.  So I am happy that now I can get on with making some gifts for close friends and their kids, and Va...

Hi everyone!  Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?  I can imagine it will be getting a bit crazy from here on out.  I still have a few things to get on my list and then it's wrapping everything that will take a bit of time. Today I have the rest of my monthly planners that I finished up to share. These are large planners that I made pretty with some washi paper.  So usually I would try to make them all different by using different washi papers but it is so much easier just to make them all the same!  Plus I really like this pink washi paper.  I added Hello Kitty made from a Sizzix die and the year made from PTI numbers die. This is the back.  The front piece overlaps to the back if you can see it. Hello!  Hope you all had a great holiday!  We spent our day at home just relaxing.  I was able to finish putting the Miyakos from Sister Stamps onto some calendars.  That was my being crafty everyday part for Friday. Each one is a little different.  I like the purple one best. Hello!  Hope everyone's having a great Monday.  I made a whole list of things I wanted to get accomplished this week.  I think I can cross off one thing so far.  There really is not enough time in a day and time goes by so fast that by the time I do the morning chores and eat my lunch, it's time to pick up the children already!  Sometimes I wish we could just come home after school too but most days there are kids' activities or some other commitment.  I am looking forward to Spring Break! I made more calendars!  And lucky for me that Taylored Expressions is so on it and already has 2015 calendars for sale!  I bought a bunch and plan on making a few more these.  I used Sister Stamps Sheep for this one.  Here is a larger one, 8.5 x 11 inches. Hi all!  So I actually finished making 20 calendars for this year.  I didn't take a photo of every one since they are all similar to the ones I posted earlier HERE .  I just wanted to share this one that is different. Okay, it is not that different.  Just a different Sister Stamps image called Hideo.  I love this washi paper that I found at Ben Franklin Crafts.  Cute, right?  So perfect for a boy.  Oh, and sorry about the glare in the photo.  I am just loving this gold cardstock too but it is so reflective in my photos.  I might just put it in all my creations. I am thinking about starting 2015 calendars!  Maybe I could make like 3 a month or something.  I am seriously gonna start now so I'll have enough to giveaway at the end of the year and maybe I'll make a variety of them. Hello!  I know that a lot of you think the Meoples are cute.  And last month there were cute baby Meoples !  I really didn't think they could get cuter than that.  But I was so wrong cause this month, there is a new batch of Meoples.  Have you seen them?  Asian Meoples !  Plus a cute little panda! Here is my easel card with calendar.  Aren't they super cute?  Especially that little panda?  I didn't want to just make an easel card.  Thought it should be somewhat functional and I had this extra calendar so I stuck it on.  There's still a good few months to go.  Next to the calendar is the newly released Cherry Blossom die cuts.  Here's a close up.  The sentiment is from Eggstra Special Sentiments.  I have CC Designs grass border on there too. Hello!  It's such a wet and rainy day here.  We stayed in and made our ornaments.  I'll share them on another day.  Today I wanted to share more calendars!  A couple of months ago I went to a local stamp show and bought some cute clear stamps from Kitty Bee Designs .  They are simple and small, and fit just right next to the calendars. The bear's heart comes blank.  I added the hugs which is from CC Designs.  I also added some glossy accents to his heart and eyes/ears.  The elephant's ears were a big wider so there's a small overlap here.   This bear comes with a butterfly but since I cut her out I added the small butterfly from an MS punch. This bunny was everyone's favorite!   All of these calendars were made the same as before.  You can make 2 from one 8.5 x 11 inch cardstock. Hello.  It's about time I shared these calendars I made featuring Miyoko from Sister Stamps.  These are the same girls I colored up and shared in this post . I made these for my kids' teachers.  I placed apples in Miyoko's hands instead of the usual cupcakes. Two more.  These were pretty quick to make and coloring the Sister Stamps girls are simple and fast.  I love that I can a bunch in a short time.  I'm working on 5 more to give my youngest one's teachers.  As promised, here are the Copic colors I used for their hair.  This one I used Y21, Y32, E31. Y21, YR14, E15, E18  E33, E35, E57, E59 C1, C3, C5, C8, 100 Here's the side view of the calendar.  It can fold flat for easy mailing and opens to stand.  Simple to make!
