crafting this and that

Hi!  After I cleaned my desk I found this sweet Tiddly Inks Wryn -- Fairy Friends all printed out and waiting for me to color her up for Sweet Stamping Pixies Challenge #3 -- fave fairy/pixie and Tiddly Inks Challenge #87 -- flowers .  Wryn is such a cutie and I love her as a fairy, definitely one of my favorites! This card came out so much larger than I intended!  Just about 6.25 inches.  The front is about an inch or so larger than the folded card itself.  But I really didn't want to shrink it.  I used my Perfect Layers rulers for all the mats.  Definitely helps when I'm feeling lazy to get up and use my paper cutter.  I don't have a scallop square that large either so I just cut 2 and layered it and covered the corners with flowers and the sentiment.  I rounded the corners too as advised by my daughter!  I think I agree that it looks better like that!  Added some stickles to her wings, flowers and the butterflies....

Hi!  I've been sick this whole week since I think I have the flu that my youngest had.  It literally kicked my butt and I had to sleep early every night like 8 or 9 and then sleep some more after dropping off the kids.  So even though I wanted to make this next card, it took me a while to put together.  This is for the following challenges:  iCopic Weekly Challenge #78 -- Spring Colors , Sweet Stampin' Pixies Challenge #2 -- Use Kraft ,  All That Scraps -- Anything Goes , and Anyone For Anya -- Sketch . I love the recent releases over at CC Designs, especially Nymph Lucy.  I don't know why but she's so darn cute.  If you've been a long time follower you would know that I had a hard time loving images that lacked a mouth.  It's because they could look spooky to some degree, couldn't they?  Like some scary horror story (Obake!).  So it even took me a while to use TGF's Miss Anya stamps.  Even my kids will notice that fir...

Hi!  So after making my "brown" card in the previous post, I felt a need for some color.  Hehe.  I think this card came out bright and fun.  It is for a couple of challenges.  The first is a new challenge blog that I came across called Sweet Stamping Pixies Challenge .  The theme for the first challenge is spring and you have to use a pixie, fairy or sprite stamp. I also used The Greeting Farm's SCS Saturday Sketch #8 .   I used TGF's Fairy Eva.  Hehe.  Of course you have to buy the stamps that have the same name as you.  I think this may be the first time I colored her up, though I have stamped her before.  She also now has a mini me in TGF's Fairy Princess clear stamp set.  That would be cute if they were on the same card like a mommy and a daughter. I did some masking with Fairy Eva.  Also made the sky using PTI's cloud die.  I love how soft the sky turned out.  The sentiment is also from the Fairy Pr...
