crafting this and that

Hi all!  I made a bunch of graduation cards in different colors.  These took me a while to finish in between packing confetti!  I love to make all sorts of things but it's getting harder to find the time.  And sometimes I'm just too tired! I made these graduation cards before.  This image is from Sister Stamps.  Do you guys miss them?  They put out a lot of great images like this one.  I colored them up differently in black, blue, red and green.  Are those the most popular school colors?  Here is a slightly different design using the year instead of congrats. Hello!  Do you ever feel totally unmotivated to create?  That was me last week.  I felt so blah every day and didn't really want to finish any of my cards or make any new ones.  I guess I go through these cycles of being unproductive.  But I did clean the house and vacuum the stairs!  So that was a real plus.  Now I'll be ignoring my house chores for a while. I made a couple of baby cards using Sister Stamps and a couple of sentiments from Stampin' Up!  I haven't used Stampin' Up! products in a while and was in the process of selling the sets I have.  This set didn't sell so I guess that was good since I was looking for a baby set. Hello!  Wow, February is already moving along quickly!  I've already moved onto to Easter!  Actually, I wasn't sure if I was going to make any Easter cards but I was looking through my Sister Stamps collection and those little bunnies were just so cute so I had to make a couple. So here is Sister Stamps Masa.  I made a watercolor background again using my distress ink stamp pads.  But this time I taped off the sides to create a border.  I actually wanted to use my Gelatos but somehow that was coming out kind of messy.  So on my 3rd try, I went back to distress inks. Hello!  Happy February!  Totally fighting the urge to go back to bed.  Think I had too much coffee and soda yesterday to fall asleep at my usual time.  So I was in bed staring at my phone!  Haha.  Morning came fast today! I made these cards over the weekend intending them to be thank you cards.  I was planning to add the arigato sentiment over the tree branches but somehow it didn't look quite right so I kept it off.  My preference is always to keep things simple.  I like how these turned out in the end. So now because they don't have a sentiment, it can be used for any occasion really.  The main image is Sister Stamps Minako.  I like that she is so peaceful looking.  I thought the Mama Elephant branches and cherry blossom stamps would be a good match on this card. Hello!  Happy Saturday!  I have plans to finish a couple cards today.  That is my goal, to finish at least a card a day.  I don't know if I can actually do that but I'll try.  But of course, it's also laundry day.  Bleh.  I finished these Aloha cards the other day.  This is Sister Stamps Pua and Kaleo.  I think Aloha says it all.  It seems to be an all inclusive sentiment, great for any occasion. Here is Pua.  I added the white Sharpie dots on her dress too.  I like using the white Sharpie better than other white gel pens that kind of fade or don't write too well.  The white Sharpie is a paint pen and I ordered it online from Taylored Expressions.  I don't know if that is the best deal but since I was putting an order through them anyway, I added the Sharpie. Hello!  Feeling a little sleepy while I type.  I think it's the dark and gloomy weather this morning.  I finished up a couple of mahalo (thank you) cards last night. This is Sister Stamps Pua and I think she is such a versatile image.  I made Xmas cards with her also.  And she would be great on birthday cards too. I added some white dots on her dress to resemble flowers using my white Sharpie.  And then the cards were all done.  These will be added to the shop as a pair cause you can never have enough thank you cards. Hello!  The weather here has turned to rainy and breezy.  I like that more than hot & humid.  I discovered at the last craft fair that people still search for birthday cards during winter.  Well, of course they do cause birthdays happen every day all year round.  So I added more birthday cards just in time for the next Rubberstamp Expo happening this Sunday, November 15 at NBC Hawaii Suite. People were searching for boy birthday cards specifically and even cards for grown up guys.  I don't know, I don't think I make much guy stuff.  And also handmade items for boys.  I don't think I have too much stuff guys would buy.  I guess that is something to think about.  Anyway, I took out my favorite Sister Stamps birthday kids and made a couple of boy birthday cards.  Simple and sweet cards that didn't take me too long. Hello!  I have a little bit of this and that to share today.  Thought I'd jam everything into one post in case I don't get a chance to share them later.  Here are some of the Mama Elephant reindeer shaker tags I made.  I sold some at the last fair but I should've take a photo of all 24 together before selling them!  I think these are about the cutest reindeer ever.  If only I can get my hands on the dies soon, I can make more projects with these. Here is another set of tags.  I added red stars in some shakers and then green stars in others.  I think the green stars were more popular and sold better.  Did you see that Mama Elephant is releasing a new stamp set with the Chinese zodiac animals?  The set is so cute and I can't wait to get those. Hello!  Yesterday, we attended the fair at Hawaii Kai Retirement Center.  It was a pretty short fair, only about 4 hours but the time did crawl at some points!  It was kind of a different fair for me and a different crowd.  Less crafty people for customers, I think.  I'm so used to speaking with people who like to make cards and stamp, and I think I kind of missed that yesterday.  But all in all, a good experience. But someone did ask me how I have the time to make so many crafts.  And then she asked if I work.  I still have to get used to answering questions like that.  Do you work?  Do you have a job?  What do you do?  I'm so used to saying no, I don't work.  But really I think I have a 24 hour job.  I don't have a regular 9-5 job.  I work all the time even in my sleep!  As a parent, do you sleep so soundly that you don't wake up when you hear a noise?  Ever since having children, I haven't slept we...
