Hello!  It was a busy week so I did not really create very many new cards.  But I still have a back log of cards to share with you. I was looking through my stamps and I realized I never used this cute Lawn Fawn Trick or Treat stamp set.  It's one of their small sets and I really like that it's very nicely priced too.  I did a little bit of distress ink blending for the background and cut out the candy corn images, stamped the simple sentiment and was done.  A simple card for Halloween. Here is a batty version too.  Can you believe it will be Halloween soon?  I wish time would go a bit slower.  Maybe I could squeeze in more crafting. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello!  Today, I did a little bit of crafting for fun.  I have a couple of projects in the works for my kids that I'll share when they are done.  I also did my usual chores and meal prep.  But realized I couldn't cook dinner early today because we have absolutely no room in the fridge to put a large pot of chili in when I'm done cooking it.  So I guess that'll have to wait for later this afternoon after I pick up my 2 out of 3 kids from school.  Wednesdays are interesting because I have to make multiple trips out of the house for pick ups at different times.  Just thinking about it makes me wanna take a nap!  But instead I ate some pie.  In case you are wondering, my 3rd child will get picked up by my hubby.  Don't worry, I only forgot to pick up one of my children once the whole time I was a parent.  That's not too bad, is it?  Oh, and once I overslept while napping which is why I don't nap much during the day anymore.  I...

Hello!  Well, it is still very humid these days with lots of rain in between.  Hope the winds come back soon so I can craft more.  It's hard to sew in hot weather!  Here is my first set of shaker tags.  I used the tag dies from MFT and the sentiment and bat are from PTI.  I added some micro beads and sequins from Doodlebug. Here is a set of spiders, also from PTI.  I thought these would look more fun with those wiggly eyes. This is the back of the tags.  I think these would look cute to dress up some special goody bags.  The green ribbon is looped so you could easily tie them on to any treat bags. I just got in these cute silver star sequins.  They are tiny too.  I'll be listing it in my Etsy shop on September 1st.  I think I will try to schedule any new listings for the first of the month just to keep myself from getting overwhelmed. Hello!  My post title sounds a little gross but that is what it took for me to finish my latest sewing project.  Okay, maybe it was mostly just sweat cause it is so hot and humid again here but there were some frustrating sewing moments.  Just wanted to throw my hands up in the air and then bang my head on the sewing table and maybe just silently say some choice words but I am so happy that I'm done.  Here is my youngest one holding all three fabric Trick or Treat bags.  I love the print on here.  Both the black and green liner fabrics are from Riley Blake Doodlebug.  The gingham fabric on the bottom of the bags was from Walmart.  I am so happy I found the gingham fabric.  I was looking for just plain black or orange or some other Halloween-y color but couldn't find any so thought I'd try the gingham and it adds so much fun to the bags. Hello people!  Oh, I've finally made some stuff to share and I'm happy because I'm actually done with some Halloween projects ahead of time.  I even have all the little baggies done for my youngest one's class treats which are just glow sticks but I feel like I've done a lot of prep.  Today I'm just sharing 2 treat bags I made for my daughter to give to her friends.  These were made with Lawn Fawn's Goodie Bag die.  I love the cute little decorative edge on top and the handle which I've blocked with the tag.  I added the little clothes pin on top for now until I can fill them in and tie the tags on.  I'm thinking about just adding a gift card instead of candy. The tags, bat and sentiment are all from Lawn Fawn.  Lately I can't seem to get enough Lawn Fawn.  They make some cute stuff! Hello!  Okay, I'm a little late wishing you all a Happy Halloween.  But this past week was kind of busy with posting and then Halloween is busy with trick or treating.  Our kids had fun though they also got soda this year which I thought was interesting and definitely a first.  I ended up carrying 3 cans of soda trying not to shake them too much! Anyway, I had a Make It Monday post over at the CC Designs blog that I didn't get to mention on here.  I made these fun little Halloween characters.  If you're interested, you can check out the short how to from the link above. Here are a couple Christmas ones.  My youngest asked me to make a turkey for Thanksgiving using these little boxes.  I'm gonna have to to give that some thought. Hi!  So yesterday instead of staying home and doing my usual Sunday chores like laundry, I went out for lunch with my hubby while our kiddies were in Sunday school.  Those couple of hours were fun cause I got to eat yummy and spicy ramen.  Though it wasn't that spicy but they call it spicy.  Anyway, now I feel like I have ton of stuff to do today including laundry!  Not to mention there was a ton of traffic coming home this morning after dropping my kids off because of an accident, AGAIN.  I spent some time at our local drug store trying to wait out the traffic and bought Halloween candy to give away and probably eat too.  So much yummy candy! This is Cow and Pig.  I made them more Halloween-y by using Halloween colors.  I thought they could be wearing cute little farm animal masks/costumes.  And I wanted to make a Halloween treat that was simple but still cute.  I bought simple cups from Walmart for really cheap.  They have so many different colors in the party section.  You could really dress up or down these cups depending on your time.  Cow is paper pieced just a bit.  I think she has such a sweet face! Pig's dress is also paper pieced a bit.  She's sweet too! I made these little banners using the new mini banner dies.  They are hanging on some twine and attached to skewers that I wrapped in orange washi tape. Hi!  I'm so happy that I'm done with all the Lego favors, signs and display board.  I made a ton of stuff and I'm excited to get back into stamping!  Thought I'd better share what I made for my sons' classes for Halloween this year before it's too late. I just made simple goody bags.  I wanted to make the little treat bags from PTI but they are kind of small and can't really fit much so decided to go with the orange bags with the fun characters on top (from PTI).  I made about 40.  My older son actually has only 18 kids in his class which is just amazing since my daughter has about 27 or so. Just a short post to share the Halloween goodies.  Tomorrow is the day of our qualifiers.  It's pretty much an all day event so hopefully I'll get to bed early tonight though I really want to stamp something.  Thanks for reading!

Hi!  Thought I'd take a little break from Lego and post some Halloween treats I made for some of my kids' teachers.  I used PTI's Favor it box 6 die and the coordinating Halloween Treats and Sweets stamp set and dies.  I have to admit that this is the set that broke my PTI boycott.  Hehe.  I was doing so well not purchasing from them every month but when I saw this set I really wanted it.  Sooo cute!  Though the box is a bit small I think for stuffing with candy for the kids.  So for all of these, I used cardstock for the boxes and just used felt for the front to conserve (or hoard) my felt.  Plus I think the card stock makes it a bit sturdier.  Nichole had a project using all felt but after I cut an entire one out of felt, it didn't look like it could keep it's shape nicely.  I stitched some of the features on the cat.  And look more googly eyes! Hi!  I haven't played in PTI's Make It Monday in a while.  This week is Challenge #34 Thick Chipboard Accents .  I thought this might be a fun challenge to participate in. I used PTI's Bitty Halloween Treats and Sweets dies to make the thick tags I tied onto PTI's Favor it Box 6.  I cut out 15 bitty baskets from some snack box I had in the kitchen and glued 5 together for each one.  I cut 3 more using black card stock.  I used glossy accents to stick the layers together.  It works pretty well.  Their little faces were stamped using the coordinating stamp set.  I stamped the names onto the boxes using PTI's Outlines Alphabet.  Good thing they have relatively short names or names I could shorten. I added some black stickles for some fun accents. I tied them onto the larger boxes with some Halloween twine.  Now I have to figure out what small treat I can fit into these cute boxes.  I also thought I could add a magnet onto...

Hi!  I think I'm working backwards.  After a bunch of Christmas projects, I thought I'd better get onto Halloween.  And really what pushed me to start was TGF's Farm Fresh Friday Halloween challenge .  I thought I'd also play along with Crazy 4 Challenges C4C106--Halloween projects and Simon Says Stamp--use dies or punches . I thought I'd make a little haunted house for Halloween.  I used TGF's Spooktacular set (rubber version).  It's now available in digi form.  I used Magnolia's Tilda lace die for the roof, Martha Stewart's scary fence punch, My Favorite Things grass die, and Spellbinders' rectangle dies for the windows and door (which got hidden by the witch).  I distressed the edges with my scissors and sponged some white over the house. Here's a little close up. The house opens up from the roof end to reveal a treat!  A gift card!  It's held closed with some velcro.  More trick or treaters from TGF's Spooktacular set....
