Sister Stamps Release #21 -- Jade, Moon & Kimie

Hello!  Welcome back to another day of previews for Sister Stamps Release #21

I have another Easter project to share.  Being on a DT is great.  Especially Sister Stamps.  Not only do you get cute images to play around with but you can prepare goodies to give away way ahead of time.  Every year we give out Easter goodies to our cousins' kids so I thought I'd make some cute tags to tie onto the bags.

Here are the tags I made for the girls featuring Kimie.  Isn't she cute?  I love those little bunnies that Kimie is playing with.  I thought I'd try coloring her hair with some parts instead of a giant block of hair.  Hope it looks okay.  And I love the bunny washi paper.  These tags are MFT dies that have the pierced border.  I used CC Cutters grass border die and the four seasons fence die.  The names were cut using PTI's alphabet die and I used glittery purple cardstock.  I like this glittery cardstock.  The glitter actually stays on and doesn't fall off everywhere.

Here is one for our boy cousin featuring Jade and Moon.  Yes, Moon is still tackling Jade.  I already bought these cute small bags to fill for Easter.  They were so cheap like a dollar something for a set of 3.  When I fill them and have them all ready with these tags, I'll take a photo and post them.

Please head on over to the rest of the DT!  I'm sure they have something pretty to share.

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
