Hello! So recently I sold a card that I made last year. It was the little MFT flying pig with reach for the stars sentiment. I loved that card! And even though it took a bit of a while to sell, probably cause I listed during Christmas season instead of graduation season, I didn't mind since I loved looking at it. When it did sell, I was kind of sad to see it go. Hopefully the buyer enjoys it too.
Today, I have another graduation card, two cards actually but they are variations of each other so basically almost the same.
It features the cute and smart cookie from Lawn Fawn's Smart Cookie set. I think this would be nice for preschool or kindergarten graduations but still pretty fun for the bigger kids too. The congratulations sentiment is made from an MFT die. It's kind of funny that I didn't really know what color I wanted to make the congratulations. I went back and forth from black to red and when I got to my table, I saw the leftover gray cardstock and used that instead.
Here's the second one. The glasses and eyes on the cookies are different. I stamped the red sentiment using my Precision Press! I like it a lot.
I also used my Xyron sticker maker to make it easier to adhere the gray sentiment onto my card. I don't necessarily use the sticker maker to make stickers out of pieces that are already cut because like other people (reviewers) have mentioned, there is always some adhesive that sticks to the outside. And then I spend a lot of time trying to get the stickiness off. Usually I use some temporary tape to get that off. But the sticker maker is really great for intricate dies. I run my cardstock that I want to cut the die from and so the whole piece has adhesive and then I take my die and cut the cardstock. There's really no mess or extra adhesive on the side when cutting like this. And it saves me so much time instead of trying to place little dots of glue. So for the cards above, the gray sentiment was just a big sticker and so easy to apply.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
