batty for you

Hello!  I just finished up this cute baby bat amigurumi.  I made it following a pattern I purchased HERE.  My bat turned out a bit smaller because I used a smaller crochet hook and my yarn is a bit thinner.

Isn't he adorable?!  His wings can open and close too.

Here he is hanging on my finger.  My finger looks really short here.  I guess I really do have short little fingers.  He is a cute project to make for Halloween.

Lately I have been multicrafting (like multitasking but just for craft projects).  Can I trademark that term, multicrafting?  No one steal that, please.  I think it has helped me get more done.  I have set up different areas for different tasks.  I have a stamping/coloring area, diecutting area and crocheting area.  I used to try to finish one project at a time but I realized my attention is too short, and I would get bored or tired of my current project but couldn't go on to another one cause I felt I had to finish what was in front of me first.  So usually I would just let that project sit on my craft table forever.  Now I can move from one project to another and not pressure myself to finish before starting another project.

Today, I plan to finish up more Christmas tags and start on another crochet project.

Thank so much for stopping by!

Gosh, that is the cutest crocheted project I've ever seen! I am in awe of your crocheting skills. Your multicrafting life is very similar to mine. I have one table for jewelry work, one for papercrafting, and a living room floor with various boxes of other crafts to do while watching TV. I also have a short attention span so I get bored if I need to make more than one of anything. Going from one project to another does help to keep my mind engaged while making multiples.
Oh my goodness, that has to be the cutest bat ever! You are very talented, I only know basic knitted, now I wish I knew how to crochet! And crochet good like this! Great job! Sooooo cute!
