Hi all!  I can finally share some exciting news today!!  I am a new member of the All That Scraps Design Team!  Holy smokes, right?  Wow, this year has just been an unreal time for me.  Never imagined I would be on a design team creating with some of my favorite images.  I've actually accomplished something outside of being a mommy, you know?  Thanks to you for reading my blog and leaving such positive comments!  I do appreciate them!  And BIG thanks to Christine for this amazing opportunity!  And thanks to Lesa and all the talented ladies on the DT for all their help and warm welcome!

Here's my ATS introduction card!  I love this image by CC Designs called Heidi with Kitty!  So adorable!  The kitty is super adorable and reminds me of my youngest one's stuffed kitty.  This image is a part of All That Scraps new September release and previews of the new images will start soon!

I used Copics to color her in and drew in some stripes on the kitty.  She is sitting on a bale of hay which is a new die for the September release.

Please head over to the All That Scraps blog to see the rest of the new DT members and more cute cards!

Thanks for reading and enjoy this long holiday weekend!

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...

It's a short hop list this time around! Perfect Paper Crafting & Laura My Mind's Eye Pam Jenny Eva (Me!) Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...
