new shipment of confetti!

Hello! I finally completed listing my latest bunch of confetti. I received the latest confetti shipment about 2 weeks ago or so and now I'm done packing a few of each one, photographing each one and listing each one in the shop. It's time consuming as I inspect them too!

This one is a bit different from my other confetti. These are thin cut green turtles! I thought these would be fun and they are cute. They are the largest confetti I have at about 6mm long. Fun for summer and beach projects?

I got these silver starfish to go along with the turtles! They look like wonky stars.

I've added a light orange flower confetti in the store as well to go along with the other floral colors.

Some bright orange hearts. Pretty bright, huh? Sometimes when I look at these there is a hint of pink but mostly I see orange.

Silver hearts. I love these hearts!

I've also added to the 2mm star collection. I love these 2mm stars. They are just the cutest size. This one is silver.

Another bright orange one.

Green stars.

Light blue stars. I love this color!

And these purple-ish stars. This was an interesting one in terms of color. Sometimes I can't tell because of the light it reflects. The base color looks purple.

They are all added into the store and I'm glad to be done with that. Now I'm wondering if I should go back to making more cards because I got some new stamps or maybe I should sew? Or make some jewelry?

TGF 3rd Annual Customer Blog Hop

Hi! After finishing up these 2 projects for TGF's Blog Hop , I've come to realize that I am kind of addicted to stamps, especially TGF stamps. Hehe. Okay, I will not babble on too much since there are lots of other blogs to check out as well. I made something for both categories, Holiday and General. First up is my Holiday card. I recently acquired Hippie Anya! She inspired me to make a "peace" card for the holidays. But then I had to add Fleur Anya for "love" ... and 80s Anya for "joy." upcycling Pokemon wrappers

Hello everyone! I am back with my latest sewing creations. I have been playing around with plastic wrappers! I've seen those upcycled plastic wrap bags and purses (usually made from Capri Sun package juice) but never really paid attention to them or how they were made until I saw this tutorial using the wrappers from Pokemon cards. My boys love Pokemon cards and were just throwing the wrappers away but I started saving them and collected enough from their recent birthdays to make a couple of items. Here is a little coin pouch (didn't want to call it a purse since it's for my youngest boy and he'd probably not like that). This little pouch was made with 4 wrappers, 2 in front and 2 in back. It is a bit tough to turn right side out because the wrappers and contact paper get stiff. But it's possible and looks really neat! I made it so he could hang it from the inside of his backpack and also carry around a little bit of emergency...
