Hello, Friend

Hi!  I wanted to make a card for TGF's Something New challenge but never made the deadline.  So thought I'd make a card for TGF's Mystery Monday Case.  I am happy that you can use any stamp now for the challenges.  I'd always have to check myself to make sure I was using the right line of stamps.

I decided to use one of the images in TGF's Miss Anya Lounge stamp set.  First time I'm using this set.  I really am trying to get myself to use every stamp at least once.  Maybe I will need to stop buying more stamps for a while.  TGF stamps are so hard to resist though.

I used a little floral pin and PTI's Tiny Tags stamp and die sets.  The tags and stamps are so cute--one of my favorites from PTI!  I am also challenging myself to use more of my old papers.  I came to this conclusion after I had placed about $50 worth of papers into my shopping cart when I was online one day and thought I'm so ridiculous for buying new paper when I have a at least a couple drawers full of paper.  Well, I don't know how long I can last with that one--I may break down and buy some new paper.  It's so tough!

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!

Cute card! I like the colors! At least you're getting cards made! My poor wild sprouts and most of the new creepers have seen no love so far. I don't know what I'm doing that's cutting into crafting time, probably on the computer too much, haha!

ahhh... you can't be worse than me. I have enough papers to last me for the rest of my life, and there are more un-touched stamps than the used ones. So sad. But, your card is sooooo cute. I do love that tiny tag and the way you put it.

nuts and bolts

Hello!  Today I'll be sharing the last amigurumi I made during my crochet frenzy.  I haven't been crocheting much recently except for this one little project I'm kind of procrastinating with.  I really do love this last one because I think it came out really cute. This is a little crocheted robot designed by Bubblegum Belles .  You can find the pattern HERE .  Sometimes I purchase the patterns especially if they are really cute.  But a lot of designers do list their patterns for free too on their blogs so I always check to see if they have a blog or not.  It's also important to read their pattern listing too if you are purchasing to see whether they are for personal use or also for commercial use.  Here is a different view of him.  Happy that he is able to sit on his bottom.  I actually cut out 2 felt hearts using a heart die, blanket stitched them together, and then hot glued the heart to the robot.  I tried stitching one h...

Roxie Recently, I saw these layering tags dies and thought I really wanted those.  I love the look of layered tags so I used my Perfect Layers rulers to make some with My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting papers. I have a tag die from Papertrey Ink so I used that as my smaller tag.  I glued that tag onto kraft cardstock and used my ruler to cut a 1/8th inch border aro...

Snowman gift card holder

Hi!  I was planning to post this last night but I was just too tired to write or think of complete sentences.  It's been a busy week with the boys on Fall break and still trying to finish up a bunch of crafts.  I have been trying to make some crocheted crafts to put in my Etsy shop and finally I'm done with one.  It's a crocheted snowman that can hold a gift card or anything actually that is small enough to fit in the pouch.  The pattern is designed by ChiWei Ranck of One Dog Woof and can be found HERE . Here's the little snowman with his arms folded over in the front to look like he is hugging the card.  I added this fun card that I stamped.  You can definitely add in a gift card too behind this card. The gift card reaches under his nose. This is how the little opening of the pouch looks.  I hope I can make more of these little guys.  These would be so cute for teachers and I think it would be easy to put a little wire throug...
